In the midst of the ongoing border crisis, Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz filed legislation on Tuesday that would establish processing centers for illegal immigrants in areas such as Martha’s Vineyard and other Democrat-led communities.Earlier this month, Cruz said: “For the past ten months, President Biden and his administration have willingly surrendered the United States’ southern border to dangerous criminal cartels, with no thought given to the South Texas border communities like McAllen and Del Rio, which are running low on resources from dealing with this massive influx of illegal immigrants,”

Meaningless gesture, Senator Cruz. Introduce a bill legislating immediate deportation for all illegal aliens in this country including and especially the so-called Daca illegal aliens. They all must go when we take back our Republic. Lawbreakers will not be rewarded with our precious citizenship.

No, it's not a stunt. We already have laws on the books to send them back. Submitting another won't get us anywhere. The Dems are going to do everything to keep all the illegals here anyway regardless of what the laws say. The idea that they should be sent to areas where the elite "liberals" (even though they aren't liberal, they present themselves as such) live is great because it shows the people that those who want to keep them in the U.S. should want to make sure the people are taken care of. If they reject the illegals or the legislation, it shows they are phonys and hypocrites and they thought nothing of the rest of us having to deal with the influx of thousands of people who are not assimilated and who likely do not speak our language.

I am just in no mood for political theater anymore. While I applaud the sentiment, we all know this bill is going no where other than for PR purposes. Democrats should be made to live with their horrific policy decisions but that is not going to happen. Better to draw attention to the horrific open border disaster that continues to unfold. Let’s highlight the communities who are suffering under the weight of this forced acceptance. We need to hear from those folks. I still do not understand why these governors accept this. When they land in your state, have buses there to drive them straight to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. We have to stop complying with this lawless administration. Now is the time to pushback hard against them. If the Feds can move them without warning in to your communities, then governors can move them out. BTW, could some honest journalist please do an expose on the “religious” charities that are making a bundle by aiding these illegals? This is a monumental income stream for these organizations. We need to shine a light on them. Benevolence is one thing, but aiding and abetting illegal aliens for money is a slap in the face to every citizen and immigrant who worked hard to get here the legal way. Name ‘em and shame ‘em.

Whether it's a stunt or not, it IS being talked about. I'll bet there are some D-voters (a few in my family) who are oblivious to what's going on with the illegals swarming our border. The fact that children are being flown and bussed all over the country is probably news to them. Does that mean the children are being separated from their parents? Why? What will happen with these children?

Cruz forgot the Hamptons. Only problem is, all the liberals in these communities would probably immediately hire the illegals as maids, lawn care, restaurant workers, and manual laborers. They would displace local residents as employees due to the sudden supply of cheap laborers.

Some of you scoff at this as a stunt but I see it as progress. I have been alarmed by illegal immigration in the U.S. since I moved back from living in Europe in 2004. Before that I lived in San Francisco (East Bay, Alamo) and figured illegals in construction and service work were just part of living there. But when I moved back and they were everywhere in eastern Pennsylvania I was, and have been, extremely concerned. No one in my orbit (upper middle class) liberal or conservative seems to care. No one. Saul Alinsky taught his students to use the enemy’s tactics and rules against them. Fine. Cruz is trying and we need to get behind him and let the elitists explain why it’s a bad idea to move these people into their towns.

As to Ldotters hoping the Feds will send illegals to the Hamptons, already been done. For the last 20 years in fact. I can't tell you how high our school taxes are as well as how overworked the hospital system is here. And not everyone in the Hamptons is rich. Like everywhere else in New York State, the working and middle class residents are fleeing because they cannot afford to live here any longer. Every single day FJBiden ruins this country more. Every single day. And there is no end in sight. Things are going south really quickly, Ted. Don't waste your brain power and our time with this nonsense.
