The White House on Friday said President Biden didn’t anticipate the extent of opposition to the COVID-19 vaccine after it was developed by his Republican predecessor, Donald Trump. “We didn’t anticipate that when there was a vaccine approved under a Republican president—that the Republican president took—that there would be such opposition, vehement opposition in some cases, from some people in his own party,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said.
She was alluding to Mr. Trump’s work to develop and win emergency approval COVID-19 vaccines under “Operation Warp Speed.”(Snip)Ms. Psaki said it will be up to private companies to simply require the vaccines

I don't want it because it is a shoddily tested, unproven shot that causes clots, heart attacks, heart issues and other serious illnesses and turns otherwise healthy individuals into a herd of Typhoid Marys!!

Here's a bunch of reasons. These drugs should probably be pulled from the market, but under fascist rule, it's OK that we're forced to take it.

Has anyone pointed out to him that there are large numbers of his supporters (young people and African-Americans) among the unvaccinated??

IT's NOT resistance to real science, it's resistance to Xiden's pathetic methods and failures.

Of course there are a few thousand deaths after ~ 200 million COVID vaccinations have been given. But how many of these deaths are actually caused by the vaccines? The answer might well be zero (for instance, no case of myocarditis has been fatal).
I blame the CDC for failing to investigate every reported death and determining whether the vaccine might have contributed to the death. Their negligence in this regard is pure laziness. And this laziness is contributing to the anti-vaxxer movement which is killing hundreds of people per day at present.

It doesn't matter who developed the vaccine. What matters is if it works or not. And, sadly, the data pretty clearly shows the benefits for taking the vaccine just aren't there in any measurable quantity, while the risks (though not great) are enough to clearly show that nobody should be forced to take it!!!
I took the jabs earlier this year. And I also had Covid last December (as did my husband). Because I have the antibodies from actually having Covid, I don't worry about it these days. However, I don't feel like the vaccine did anything but make me feel yucky for a couple of days after getting each jab. As much as I can't stand not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden, this has nothing to do with him, and everything to do with looking at the actual data.
However, you freakin' idiot not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden, unlike lie-berals who blindly follow their "leaders" like the sheeple that they are, while I think President Trump was a great president I would never do anything just because he suggested it if I studied the facts and came to the appropriate conclusions. That's because lie-berals "feel" while conservatives apply logic, reason, and facts to make decisions!!!

You cannot be this stupid, Psucky. As ignorant as you are, there has to be a bottom somewhere.
There were a LOT of us that were highly skeptical of this thing from Day 1, who never believed this was safe. Trump being involved with it wasn't the magic stamp of approval.

It is mostly democrats who are not getting the shot not republicans. And the biggest single group are blacks who are 90% registered democrats and many are government employees so let him fire them. I notice he is giving the postal workers a pass how is that logical?

I would like to know more about my natural immunity having had COVID already, and survived it with no issues. I would like to know my options before getting a vaccination. I am not an anti-vaxxer. I would like straight answers and no more rhetoric. Am I asking too much?

This malarkey wasn't developed by PDT.
He asked all the Bigs to compete for the ''answer'' to this polyester entity-to avoid a 5-year lockdown in OZ.
We 're thinking of you , mates.
He didn't choose the good Drs. Fakey or Brick. They were hurled at him from across DC -by the Unipartypoopers.
IMHO, PDT probably knows diabolical narcissistical self-promoting nincompoops when he smells them.
What can he do, but bend like a reed in the wind?
He let the Evil Ones take the credit for their own malfeasance and criminality.

Biden is the idiot who made it political. He did so to claim any credit if it worked. Now he is doubling down by mandating the obviously flawed RNA manipulators and criticizing people for questioning his logic and motives. As for proof, the many cases of perfectly healthy teenagers taking the shot and dropping dead or suffering from enlarged hearts within days is proof enough for me. If a rattlesnake bites you and you immediately swell up and your heart stops, you don't need an autopsy, the friggin' snake killed you. Donald Trump's motives were beyond question, he simply asked the pharmaceutical companies to develop a vaccine as soon as they could. He did not go into their labs and make it himself. If Joe forces people to take the shot and they die, it's Joe's fault.

I won’t get it for several reasons - first, it is NOT a vaccine. Second, it has not been tested sufficiently - vaccines used to undergo at least 5 years of testing before being released to the public. Third, no one knows the long term effects. Fourth, it used to be that if 25 people died from a vaccine, it was pulled from the market. (See reply #3) Fifth, I’m healthy with no comorbidities and have a 99.7% chance of surviving the virus - something which can’t be said of the jabs. Sixth, I don’t trust anything which the left is pushing this hard - experience has shown me that if they are for it, it’s usually something bad. Seventh, eighth, ninth and on to eternity - I don’t trust a single syllable which this government says.

As much as democrats wish otherwise, it's not a political decision whether or not to get the shots. Blacks, hispanics, and phD's are more anti vaxx than Republicans. There are fewer deaths in States with more rural populations. For healthy people in those States, it's rational to consider how much of a threat the virus is for them based just on the numbers. The fact that those States tend to be Red states doesn't mean that the decision is political.

They foolishly believe conservatives follow Trump.
They are confused. Trump follows us or he never would have been elected. If he ever went woke he'd get dropped instantly.
Unlike the Marxist left, we do not worship celebrity figures. We have core beliefs.

This guy and his administration have no plan, no clue. How could they anticipate anything? They are a total failure in every aspect of their duties.

Typical Biden Administration dishonesty. Resistance to compulsory medication is no the same thing as resistance to medication.

He didn’t anticipate a lot of things. Recent events that came as the result of the way he pulled out of Afghanistan come to mind.

It should be against the law for any company to require these vaccines, government mandate or not. And look at Bidet now; first he took credit for the shot, and now he deflects blame on our True President.
