The great Ivermectin deworming hoax

Original Article

Posted By: Judy W., 9/8/2021 9:29:07 AM

"In a normal year, the Kentucky Poison Control Center might receive one call from someone who has taken ivermectin, a drug commonly used to treat parasites in livestock. But amid increasing misinformation about the drug’s ability to both treat and prevent COVID-19, that number has increased to six this year." This alarming news was published in Spectrum News - formerly known as Time Warner Cable - on August 24, 2021, and should be a lesson to every American. https://spectrumnews1.com/ky/louisville/news/2021/08/24/ivermectin-calls-to-kentucky-poison-control-are-up The lesson is not about Ivermectin being poisonous because it isn't, but about the pervasiveness of a type of new internet propaganda termed "informational flooding.”  CORRECTION*

Comments:

This is not just about the hoax; it is the most informative article (with links) about ivermectin that I've read. It includes the fact that Pfizer and Merck will soon have anti-viral drugs for covid that will cost hundreds of times more than ivermectin. (But probably contain ivermectin.)

By the way, I spent about 25 years of my life in "Big Pharma" (well, really little Pharma, we wern't the big players in the game) but I can read the stitches on this fastball. Big Pharma wants to make money on COVID and "old," "generic" (read: cheap, little profit) drugs like ivermectin and HCQ stand in their way. Obviously, if they can come up with an extremely effective and safe drug/vaccine/regimen, that's great. But let's not forget what we already have. And if those drugs work (and I'll give you that there is some discussion on that in the medical community on both sides), well, that's tough for Big Pharma.

This is a graduate level case study in a propaganda campaign to steer the heard away from simple, time-tested treatments to the government-approved, and very profitable "vaccine." Like most stuff here, it documents the problem and offers no solutions.

This is the best, most informative article I've read about not just the efficacy of Ivermectin, but has links to further information (including the recipe for the cocktail that Frontline Doctors have used to make patients well). There's citation after citation - and explains using these older, inexpensive drugs is probably far more effective than the next pill(s) coming out (at $1,500 per pill). And you probably need more than Ivermectin (Vitamin D, C, Zinc, etc.), but it will most certainly help you!

If Fauci were honest (not likely) he would admit that his interest is not in treatment, but instead, in prevention. Therefore, he focuses on immunization, and prevention, rather than medication. (Dr. Birx was interested in treatment. And she was kicked to the curb) Here is another medical tidbit. I developed colitis a couple of decades ago. The first drug prescribed was a coated aspirin, asacol, that didn't release until it arrived at the colon. It worked reasonably well. Then I was switched to Linzess, dreadfully expensive, and, for me, worthless. One of its main side effects is diarrhea. Think on that for a moment. Then I read a comment on a news website about Turmuric Curcumin, which is the main ingredient in Indian cooking, curry sauce. Turmuric Curcumin, for me, is a miracle drug. It solved the colitis problem, at 10 cents a day (walmart price) versus Linzess, at 13 dollars a day, which solved nothing..

SIX! Six poisoning calls in a YEAR! (not deaths) is ALARMING NEWS! We've been lied to on this subject before (Rolling Stones). The Indian Bar Association has sued the WHO for statements against the use of Ivermectin that lead to the State of Tamil Nadu withdrawing it which caused COVID deaths to soar by the thousands compared to other States. Lots of data there, not just innuendo and insinuating that stupid people are poisoning themselves with horse tonic.

I have no doubt that Joe Biden set September 11, the 20th anniversary of the worst attack on American soil, for his botched bug out from Afghanistan thinking it would be a triumphant conclusion to twenty years of war in Afghanistan. Doesn’t look like that plan was worth following. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people who should have been evacuated first are now hostage to murderous barbarians there. (Snip) Instead of a grateful nation applauding a move most wanted -- an end to the war there -- the way in which it was done, including the terrible timing for an anticipated boost to his popularity, instead has caused support for Biden to tank.

On 9/11, the world was shown, in one horrific, indelible image, precisely what Islam is all about. Today, to write the previous sentence is to be guilty of Islamophobia. How did that come to be? It began in the days after 9/11 itself, when George W. Bush - by repeatedly insisting that the cause of the jihadists had nothing to do with Islam - effectively ruled out of bounds any criticism of that religion, or any honest education and open discussion about it. Instead, Bush - who had gotten it into his head that all religions are basically good, and who was manipulated by advisors who wanted to project American

Twenty years ago today, on the morning of September 11, 2001, 32-year-old Todd Beamer boarded a United Airlines flight at Newark, New Jersey, bound for a business meeting in San Francisco. He was due to fly back that night, to rejoin his pregnant wife, Lisa, and their two young sons, Drew and David. Todd worked for a computer company, selling software. His job entailed lots of traveling. This was just another working day. Forty-six minutes after take-off, terrorists stormed the cockpit, seized the controls, and announced, ‘We have a bomb onboard.’ The plane changed course for Washington DC.

For most of the last two decades we have observed the anniversary of 9/11 by re-posting my columns from the first few days of the new era. We ceased to do so after September 11th 2017 when "a president who, on the campaign trail, mocked his predecessor's inability to use the words 'radical Islam' himself eschewed all mention of the I-word" - and a defense secretary laughably hyped as Mad Dog Mattis turned out to be just another dribbler from the Washington Generals and retreated to the madrassah wing of the Pentagon to explain that it was all just a theological misunderstanding. We shall not resume our anniversary observances today.

The Food and Drug Administration -- funded and controlled by Big Pharma -- is heavily biased in favor of drugs. And since Big Pharma wants to solidify its monopoly over medicine, it has coerced the FDA to campaign to limit consumer access to non-patentable nutritional supplements, which promote health and prevent disease. Drugs, even when taken properly under prescription, cause 1.9 million hospitalizations per year and close to 900,000 patients to experience serious drug reactions, according to a Harvard report. More alarming statistics: prescription drugs are a major health risk, ranking fourth (with stroke) as a leading cause of death; and new FDA-approved prescription drugs have a one-in-five chance of

The Wall Street Journal has a long feature up today on the fact that in larger and larger numbers men have decided not to go to college. But despite its length and depth, the story is too chicken to investigate what may be the leading cause of this trend. Let’s take in some excerpts: Men are abandoning higher education in such numbers that they now trail female college students by record levels. Before the official recommendation, some providers used them under an emergency use authorization (EUA) granted by the FDA in November 2020. The FDA just granted an EUA to allow their use for SARS-CoV-2 post-exposure and ongoing prophylaxis. This approval will increase demand. The Texas Legislature passed the state’s election reform package, SB 1, designed to protect voters by fixing vulnerabilities in the registration and election system. This happened only when Democrats finally returned to the state after fleeing to the nation’s capital in May to avoid the special session called by Gov. Greg Abbott. This bill’s biased coverage reflects how much the media relies on the propaganda circulated by the left that labeled the new law as “restrictive,” without questioning it. The New York Times even claimed that Texas is now one of the “most difficult places” in the United States to cast a vote, which is factually simply wrong.

Denyse O'Leary, whom I always read with great interest in our Comments section, chides me for diagnosing our present woes but not proposing solutions. That ought to be easy. In Afghanistan what needed to be done is almost as old as man. As Victor David Hanson pointed out to Tucker, "This is the greatest loss of military equipment in the history of warfare by one power." He's right. Because US government is so drunkenly profligate, the numbers sound blah-blah to jaded American ears. But $85-90 billion is larger than the annual military budget for every nation around the world except the US and China.
