Police Work in 2021: When You Don't Arrest
Anyone, No One Gets Hurt

It was a small story on a local news channel’s website, one that may not have attracted much interest. “Pursuit and Standoff in Valley Village Ends Without Suspect in Custody,” read the August 8 headline from CBSN Los Angeles. This seemed odd. How, I wondered, did the suspect give the cops the slip when he was surrounded and with a police helicopter overhead? I gave the story a click, and here it is, in its entirety: A vehicle that nearly hit an LAPD cruiser close to the intersection of Lankershim and Burbank Boulevards led police in a pursuit and eventually a standoff at a Valley Village used car dealership.

The historical role of law enforcement was to preserve and protect -- to maintain a modicum of public safety. It served to make the public world a safe place to mingle amongst strangers. Police were the mutually appointed enforcer of the implicit covenant of mutual, non-violence among strangers. The sole role of law enforcement today is to enforce progressive political ideology. Like every government institution, objective results and achievement are now irrelevant. All that matters is fealty to doctrine. I live in a Red State. Our streets in the last 18 months have become completely lawless, with the only limit on personal behavior imposed by Newtonian physics. I've driven through construction zones at 70 mph, trying to keep up with traffic, while getting passed by pickups pulling pontoon boats at 80+. Every morning jog is a life or death scenario every time I cross a sidewalk cut. The only thing that surprises me in all of this, is that it happened as fast as it did, and with absolutely no resistance from otherwise normal Americans. It turns out, the Country that saved the world from fascism and communism, can't save itself from Karen.

"No one gets hurt....." except the honest citizens who are crime victims, again and again. So now we don't have the criminals being removed from the street after their crimes, just free to continue on forever. That can't last.

You get less of what you punish (enforcement of laws - cause it ain't pretty when perps resist) and more of what you reward (lawlessness a.k.a. "mostly peaceful" protesting). Even in red states; blue city voters keep electing gutless PC mayors who appoint police administrators who'll follow their PC orders. The "Ferguson Effect" is real.

Years ago following the Ferguson protests my nephew left the Tucson police department to go into private security (very lucrative, btw.) He explained his thinking: he has a wife and four children who depend on him. Why should he stick his neck out to arrest someone if there is a chance the higher up’s won’t back him? Who would take care of his family? You can bet a lot of cops think that way now - they just don’t say it out loud.

Anyone who has experience with employees, children... pets knows that consistency is key to changing behavior. If someone can "get away with it" once in a while, then they will try to "get away with it" far more often. There is a price to pay for this tactic.

What's the end game for the police not acting? Their job will be just raising revenue from parking and speeding tickets I suppose along with staying alive and out of jail if a criminal gets hurt or killed while committing a crime. Seems right to me now give me permission to not be prosecuted for defending myself from the criminal. I can take care of myself but don't arrest or sue me when I do. I refuse to be preyed upon by jackals in our society that aren't fit to be among normal people respecting other's rights. This is a midlevel concept of no arrest at all right before there is no law enforcement at all.

Let's face it. Minorities mostly target their own neighborhood people and stores. If these citizens aren't arrested they won't be saddled with criminal histories and then maybe their behavior will just be a 'phase' they're going through. So police should only be responsible to keep these neighborhoods free of non-minorities and all will be well???

This will certainly protect the police who are supposed to protect the public. Seems a little nuts. Time to get rid of all the antipolice leadership.

A full 72 percent of young, black New Yorkers are about to be denied service and the right to work in New York City restaurants, gyms, and theaters. The far-left New York Times reported Thursday only 28 percent of black New Yorkers aged 18 to 44 years are vaccinated, “compared with 48 percent of Latino residents and 52 percent of white residents in that age group.” This means that on September 13, when the fascist city’s vaccine passport law goes into effect, 72 percent of black New Yorkers aged 18-44 will be denied service, as well as 52 percent of young Hispanics.CORRECTION*

Ron DeSantis has decided to actually fight back, other states are seeing the fights play out at the local level. Parents are showing up to school board meetings to express their displeasure with leaders who continue to spit in the face of objective data when it comes to forcing kids to wear dirty pieces of cloth on their faces. One of those parents who showed up is The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh, who gave a short speech (the board limits the time) that hit the nail directly on the head.

It may be 2021 but one elementary in Atlanta is acting like it’s the Jim Crow era based on the principal's policy of segregating children in classrooms based on race. A black mother whose child attends the Mary Lin Elementary School was shocked to find out the principal implemented this policy last year. She only discovered it was happening when she asked to place her child with a teacher she thought would be a better fit. "[The principal] said that’s not one of the Black classes, and I immediately said, ‘What does that mean?’ I was confused. I asked for more clarification. I was like, ‘We have those in the school?’

For regular folks like you and me, the words "close family and friends," usually means Grandma, the kids, and a boxed Duncan Hines birthday cake. But not for Shelley and Barry. As seaplanes full of victims of institutional and structural racism descended on Martha's Vineyard, "scaled back," became the most disingenuous parsing of words since "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

We the People wine has produced a viral ad that is so powerfully American it blows almost every single thing the Republican Party has done right out of the water. That is according to political heavy-hitters and viewers who not only sent the video viral, but expressed shock that such an impactful visual display of patriotism didn’t come from people seeking a vote, but from a wine company using their voice to stand for their principles. The advertisement uses a poignant speech from former President Ronald Reagan juxtaposed perfectly with modern clips of the left-wing assault on our cities in the form of riots and demand to defund the police.

For instance, Biden told churchgoers April 1, they were being ungodly if they did not become vaccinated.
