The first felony sentencing in what is expected to be some 600 resulting from the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol is to be held Monday.Paul Allard Hodgkins, a 38-year-old crane operator from Tampa, Fla., will be sentenced for his part in the attack."The need to deter others is especially strong in cases involving domestic terrorism, which the breach of the Capitol certainly was," Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Mona Sedky said, according to the Washington Post.Hodgkins was identified from videos and photo taken inside the Capitol and later admitted to being there when questioned by the FBI.

FTA: "He told investigators he took a bus from Tampa to Washington, D.C., to take part in the riot."
My B.S. meter just exploded! I guarantee you he "told" them nothing like that. He did not come to D.C. to "take part in a riot." The disgusting, lying, communist media never stops.

And to date not a single Antifa Domestic Terrorist who attacked the Federal Courthouse in Portland has been convicted. In fact, several hundred who were arrested have had the charges dropped and will suffer no consequences.

FTA: He was charged with a series of crimes, including those directly related to the fact they occurred in the Capitol building. He pleaded guilty last week to a single count of obstruction.
So, not sedition? Not treason? This will make far-left heads explode.

A single count of obstruction. Wow. Stunning. So much hype. But will the commies give him the choice of the electric chair or the needle is the real question?

An information free "article". No idea what these "felony" charges even are. What did the guy do other than enter the Capitol building?
These courts are totally evil, way out into totalitarian and unconstitutional.

I'm going to check all this out, because I missed all the felony sentencing about the antifa and BLM marauding mayhem last summer.

How in the world is an unarmed protest at the US capitol "domestic terrorism," and the repeated armed shooting, burning and looting of American cities NOT???

With a felony conviction for a crime that occurred and somebody was killed he could be charged with murder. I presume he pled guilty. Prosecutors don't want a trial. Some actual facts and video might come out.

I'm really interested in knowing who broke the windows, who broke in vs who wandered in doors held open by the gatekeepers and the difference in the charges and final sentencing. Something tells me that the genuine Trump supporters who went with the crowd will be treated far more harshly that ANTIFA instigators who actually broke windows while Trump supporters implored them not to.

The playbook that the DOJ leftist are using is classic. Arrest people without actually charging them with anything and then terrorize them with solitary confinement and denial of basic civil rights until they confess to some obscure statute violation. The thugs get a scalp and they put the fear of god into anyone who would dare stand up to them and push for a real trial with all its expenses. Its real easy to intimidate people without the funds to actually defend themselves in court. Ask Eddy Gallagher who was railroaded by the military justice system for years as retribution for President Trump's election. His book, "The Man in the Arena" will make your blood boil and would make a great Clint Eastwood movie with its happy ending.

Rule #1 - Never, ever talk to the FBI without your attorney being present. Say Nothing!
Rule #2 - The FBI is not your friend, considers you guilty until proven innocent, and is not interested in Justice being served.
Rule #3 - The FBI is the police force of the communist death democrats and is out to arrest and imprison anyone who is opposed to the Federal Communist Government. Not to be trusted.
Abolish the FBI

Obstruction?! That's what they charge you with when they can't get you on any underlying crime. When you offer a defense against the charges such that they fall apart. they get you for Obstruction.
That is what Muellhead was hoping to hang on Pres Trump, And even Fatty Barr couldn't see it.
OK where are the pics of him "obstructing?" All I find is Hodgkins standing quiet holding a large Trump flag. What was he obstructing, Wray's view?
Disgusting.

All this BS for an obstruction charge? That ranks somewhere below violating your Oath of Office on the crime pantheon.
And how many millions has Uncle Sugar pizzed away on this vital prosecution?

"questioned by the FBI"
Same FBI who had agents instigating the violence, urging the crowd to enter the building and to smash windows.
