The chairwoman of the Republican Party warned that she would advise the GOP's 2024 White House nominee to skip the presidential debates without numerous reforms from the commission that organizes them.Ronna McDaniel, in a three-page letter sent Tuesday to the Commission on Presidential Debates, slammed the organizers of the 2020 debates for what she called 'repeated missteps and partisan actions.' 'The Republican Party needs assurances that the CPD will make meaningful reforms to the debate process by working with stakeholders to restore the faith and legitimacy it has lost. If not, as RNC Chairman, I will have no choice but

Club for Growth released an ad Wednesday to highlight the media establishment and CNN for their continued obsession with former President Donald Trump, in addition to their sinking rates. The 60-second digital ad buy is meant to highlight “a number of self-proclaimed CNN ‘journalists’ including ‘Dodgey’ Don Lemon, Chris ‘Fredo” Cuomo, and Daniel ‘Defender of Democrats’ Dale,” the press release said. The conservative group is looking to send a clear message to CNN for the news organization to “start covering news and stop the near-constant defenses.”In addition, the website the group is launching, badnewsbiden.com, will be used throughout President Joe Biden’s time in the White House

Upon visiting Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Tuesday to commemorate the centennial of the Tulsa Race Massacre, President Joe Biden appeared to be moving away from supporting potential slavery reparations.According to a report by Politico, Biden discussed racism in his speech on Tuesday, but he did not mention the potential to create reparations for the massacre survivors or their descendants or acknowledge his support for H.R. 40, a bill that would address slavery and establish a commission to study reparations. H.R. 40 was voted out of the House Judiciary Committee earlier this year,

Bree Newsome, a Black Lives Matter activist, went on a Twitter tirade about white people who allegedly stole land at some time in history from black people and she wants it back.“Amazing how white people commit atrocities in one generation & then they just disappear from existence. No descendants, no names, no current wealth or land holdings that can be identified as a result of the atrocity. Only Black survivors exist with living memory, apparently,” she said in one of her tweets as she called for reparations. (Tweet)

In one of my favorite stories of how the hastily adopted mail-in voting systems failed during the pandemic year of 2020, over 223,000 ballots mailed out to voters in Clark County, Nevada, were returned as undeliverable during the Democratic primary there last year due to incorrect or out-of-date addresses on the voter rolls.(Snip) The state’s Democrats apparently think mail-in voting was so hitch-free in 2020 that every election from here on in ought to work like that.According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the state Assembly voted last week to approve Assembly Bill 321, legislation that would make universal mail-in balloting permanent. The state Senate added its stamp of approval

Kari Lake, who was the Phoenix area’s top-rated news anchor before she resigned earlier this year over the establishment media’s liberal bias, has announced she is running for governor of Arizona as a Republican.Lake was half of the successful prime-time duo “Hook & Lake” for 22 years at Fox News affiliate KSAZ-TV. In March, she left that job behind after more than two decades, explaining that she no longer felt “proud” to work as a member of the media. She soon expounded upon what led her to leave her anchor job behind in a March interview with The Western Journal.

John Hinckley Jr., the gunman who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan in a bid to win actress Jodie Foster’s heart, has traded his six-shooter for a six-string — racking up thousands of views on YouTube with his guitar renditions of sentimental love songs.Hinckley, now 66, won a lengthy court battle last year, freeing him to publicly display his music, writings and other art, and potentially make a living in the recording industry.Since then, Hinckley has published a half-dozen videos to a YouTube channel bearing his real name, starting with a performance of an original composition titled “Majesty of Love.”

While the Democrats have high, if not delusional hopes of fundamentally changing every aspect of American life, from federal voting dictates to essentially outlawing sub-contracting, the actual rules of the Senate have stood in their way. The filibuster, which Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema (among others who are laying low) have pledged to not touch, means that Chuck Schumer and his merry band can’t force through things on a simple 50-50 vote. The Democrats were given a shot of life a few months ago, though, in the form of a parliamentarian ruling that Schumer claimed greenlit most of his agenda. I expressed skepticism at the time in an article discussing

MSNBC is facing criticism over an on-screen graphic reading 'Texas Two Step' that appeared over an image of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair.Known in the industry as a chyron or lower third, the graphic appeared on Tuesday's episode of Andrea Mitchell Reports during a teaser for a segment on Texas Republicans' push for tougher election laws. The pairing of the name of the 'two-step' country-western dance with an image of Abbott in his wheelchair drew instant outrage and accusations that MSNBC was mocking the Republican governor's disability.'No class,' remarked Senator Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, in a tweet.

Donald Trump has permanently shut down the website he used to get around his social media ban and where he posted his statements after just 29 days. 'From the Desk of Donald J. Trump' has been scrubbed from the former president's website and instead the URL redirects users to a page to sign up for his email and text alerts.A Trump adviser told The Washington Post that Trump shut it down because he didn't like that the site was being mocked and didn't garner a large readership.

Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott clapped back at President Joe Biden for calling GOP election reform bills 'un-American' by pointing out that Texas currently has more early voting hours than Delaware. 'The voter law in the state of Texas is far more accommodative and provides far more hours to vote than it does in President Biden's home state of Delaware, where he voted in the last election, where they offer exactly zero early voting days,' Abbott said Tuesday to The Dallas Morning News. 'If there's any voter suppression taking place, the easier allegation is say that voter suppression has taken place in Delaware, not Texas.'
