It’s been six weeks since I set out with a goal to make myself healthy again.
Inspired by Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, I took it upon myself to stop eating the high-processed, seed oil-laden diet I had been scarfing down and record the results of embracing a whole foods diet and healthy lifestyle.
Now that I’m halfway through the process, I’m here to share what I’ve learned. A brief reminder of the task at hand: I set out to completely eliminate anything antithetical to MAHA from my diet and lifestyle. That means no seed oils, nothing processed,

Editor’s note: This is the third installment of a six-part series by pollster Brent Buchanan on the politics of the American South. Last week, Buchanan explored the shifting priorities of minority voters in the South — and why Democrats shouldn’t take those voters for granted. This week, he breaks down the unique features, and critical importance, of the Southern suburbs.
We hope you enjoy.
Few things embody American culture and consumerism better than the suburbs.
Both a subject of generational aspiration and comedic ridicule, America’s suburbs remain a bridge to a nostalgic past and the ideal archetype of the “American Dream,” where

Colony Ridge’s defense lawyer and a land developer lobbying group teamed up to draft legislation that would exempt Texas developments like Colony Ridge from certain consumer protection regulations, communications obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire reveal.
A House bill and its companion bill in the Senate would carve out an exemption in mortgage origination laws for Texas residential real estate developers, threatening to embolden developments like Colony Ridge that cater to illegal aliens and foreign nationals. The legislation has already passed through the House Committee on Pensions, Investments, and Financial Services but is still under consideration in the Senate’s Business and Commerce Committee.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s brother has been forced to shut down viral rumors that he is embroiled in a fentanyl trafficking ring — warning, “Don’t make me sue.”
Gabriel Ocasio-Cortez, 32, took to TikTok to publicly deny the allegation after a woman blasted out the false claim online earlier this week.
The original clip, which wrongly identified him as Matthew, zeroed in on a fake news article that declared that the New York Democratic congresswoman’s brother had become embroiled in drug trafficking.
“I’m the brother. My name’s not Matthew. I have no idea why they’re posting this,” he said after the video started spreading on social media.

The Interior Department is helping to increase oil production in the newly renamed Gulf of America by 100,000 barrels per day under a new policy following President Trump’s executive order aimed at “Unleashing American Energy,” The Post can reveal.
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum announced that all offshore oil drilling in the Gulf will now be able to tap multiple reservoirs at the same time — and at far higher pressure levels than previously allowed — to immediately boost output by around 10%.
The department cited a September 2023 study from the University of Texas, which found that over the next 30 years,

North Carolina is still reeling from the massive damage caused by Hurricane Helene last fall. While the cleanup and rebuilding has been slow and steady, there is still a ton of work to do.
One group that has stepped in to lend their tremendous building skills is the Amish community. There are currently thousands of Amish people, mainly from Pennsylvania, who are helping to rebuild in the western part of the state, where the most damage is.
The national media has completely ignored this amazing contribution from the Amish. These people deserve praise for their help.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has ordered state agencies to review and potentially boycott business with El Salvador due to its role in detaining Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
A statement from the Democrat indicates he believes this is a strong stance in support of due process for an alleged MS-13 member and suspected human trafficker.
“The United States Constitution guarantees due process. We are witnessing Donald Trump erode our fundamental Constitutional rights in real time, and we must fight to restore the balance of power,” Pritzker said.
“The State of Illinois will stand up for the Rule of Law and do everything in our power (to) stop the Trump

25-year-old former Army intelligence analyst Korbein Schultz was sentenced to 84 months in federal prison for conspiring to hand over America’s most closely guarded military secrets to a hostile foreign power: Communist China.
The disgraced soldier from Wills Point, Texas, pleaded guilty in August 2024 to transmitting sensitive defense intelligence, unlawfully exporting classified material, and accepting bribes — all in the service of a foreign adversary.
“This defendant swore an oath to defend the United States — instead, he betrayed it for a payout and put America’s military and service members at risk,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi in a statement.

Alex Soros, the heir to multibillionaire Democratic megadonor George Soros, in an interview mocked the founders of Facebook and Uber for having "really believed their own b---" and groaned at the mention of a climate group that his family has bankrolled for years.
Facebook and Uber founders are "a bunch of nice Jewish boys who kind of gamed the system and, 'Oh, let's not become doctors, lawyers; I'm helping the world by putting taxis out of business,'" Alex Soros, who is Jewish, told New York magazine as he sat in an Uber en route to a museum exhibition in New York.

As part of President Trump’s Operation Take Back America, a team of Border Patrol agents arrested ten illegal aliens in Pomona, California, on Tuesday. Nine of the illegal aliens arrested were found outside a Home Depot store. The arrests that sparked a protest by an immigrants rights group included one illegal alien convicted of a weapons charge and child abuse with serious bodily injury.
A small group of protesters appeared within hours at the Pomona Home Depot site, carrying signs that read, “ICE Out of Pomona.” The National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) posted a video on social media showing a small group of protestors chanting anti-ICE slogans.

Hundreds of Indian and Chinese college-graduate migrants in the United States have been fired from white-collar jobs in California, Washington, DC, and elsewhere,
But the migrants are pushing back with lawyers, complaints in the Indian media, and pleas to Indian-origin members of Congress.
Some are losing their jobs at Apple and the Federal National Mortgage Association, commonly known as Fannie Mae.
More are losing jobs because the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has deleted their visas or their names from a federal database — dubbed SEVIS — that allows migrants to get work permits after enrolling in U.S. colleges. Their entries and work permits are being deleted from SEVIS

A Chicago Police Department recruit is reportedly accused of having crack cocaine in his pocket during a training exercise.
CWB Chicago said it reviewed an internal report that said the discovery happened on Monday during a narcotics arrest training scenario.
When one recruit reportedly found real crack cocaine while searching another recruit’s pocket, the suspect had an interesting explanation after being confronted about the substance’s presence.
The outlet said a trainer gave the recruit a baggie with blue stars on it that held simulated heroin, then another recruit was instructed to perform a search:
While searching the subject’s cargo pants, the recruit conducting the search found a
