Private-sector job growth accelerated in March, according to data released Wednesday by ADP, countering gloomy predictions that tariffs would slam the brakes on the labor market. Instead, hiring came in stronger than expected, with 155,000 jobs added across the U.S. economy—even as corporate media and left-leaning economists warn daily of a looming slowdown. Professional and business services led the way with 57,000 new jobs, followed by financial activities with 38,000 and manufacturing with 21,000. “Despite policy uncertainty and downbeat consumers, the bottom line is this: The March topline number was a good one for the economy and employers of all sizes, if not necessarily all sectors,” said Nela Richardson,

Anyone who says tariffs will hurt the US labor market is an idiot or liar.

What’s the Real Target of the Assault

The war on Elon Musk and Tesla is driven by far more than politics. One thing is for sure: Tesla owners never saw this one coming. After all, Tesla fans are generally predisposed to embrace climate change and much of the Green New Deal -- positions with large support among people on the Left side of the political spectrum. For many, owning a Tesla is a statement of virtue signaling that you are doing your part to save the world and save the environment. Owners of Teslas are more likely to vote Democrat than Republican. So why would Tesla dealerships and Tesla car owners be targeted for destruction?

Vice President JD Vance slammed criticism of the administration's handling of mass deportations, particularly a media-fueled narrative regarding an alleged innocent father who was deported due to an administrative error. Vance, in an interview with "Fox & Friends," addressed the story of Abrego Garcia, a Maryland father with protected legal status who had mistakenly been deported to El Salvador. That father Democrats and the media are latching onto to portray Trump's deportation operation as heartless did, according to an immigration judge in 2019, have evidence of an association with the violent MS-13 gang.

Elon Musk will continue to be a “friend and adviser” to the Trump administration — even after his stint at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is up, Vice President JD Vance said Thursday. The billionaire, who is DOGE’s lodestar, is expected to step back at the end of next month given his tenure with the admin was only ever meant to be temporary. “Of course, he’s going to continue to be an adviser,” Vance told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” following reports in lefty media outlets that Musk was stepping down.

An “unacceptable” bid by the International Criminal Court to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has led Hungary to withdraw from the globalist institution, its government said on Thursday morning. The Hungarian government is commencing the process to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC) today, it said, saying the body had become politicised and is no longer fit for purpose. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived in Budapest for a four day visit, his first visit to a European country and only his second foreign trip since the ICC issued a warrant for his arrest in November last year over alleged war crimes.

House Democrats held a press conference outside the U.S. Department of Education on Wednesday and were greeted by Secretary Linda McMahon, the target of their disdain. One can almost hear the voice of former WWE announcer Jim Ross - Bah Gawd, that's Linda McMahon's music! McMahon met with approximately a dozen lawmakers earlier to discuss concerns about Education Department (ED) layoffs. The Democrats expressed gratitude for McMahon taking the time to meet them, but certainly voiced their criticisms. (Isn't it something that, all this time, they just needed to make an appointment rather than accosting and harassing a security guard to try and bust in?)

The freedom afforded to the United Kingdom by its Brexit withdrawal from the European Union has been credited with helping the country avoid the worst of the Trump tariff actions. On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a slew of tariff measures with the aim of resetting America’s trade relationships with the rest of the world, intending to encourage the return of industry to America after decades of globalisation hollowed out manufacturing hubs and corporations sent jobs and wealth abroad.

New chat logs released by the House Judiciary Committee this week show the extraordinary lengths the FBI went to behind the scenes to shut down any discussion of Hunter Biden’s laptop in October 2020 after The New York Post broke the story. The conversations, withheld by the FBI under Director Chris Wray, show that senior leadership issued an internal “gag order” on the laptop. The FBI had been in possession of the abandoned MacBook Pro for 10 months by that stage, after computer repair shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac handed it over and warned of the potential crimes and national security concerns he had found.

A group of Republican senators voted along with Democrats on Wednesday for a resolution to undo President Trump’s 25 percent tariffs on Canadian imports, dealing an embarrassing blow to Trump. The resolution expresses the sense of the Senate and doesn’t have the force of law, but its 51-48 passage is unwelcome news for the president on the very day he announced a host of new tariffs. Four Republicans — Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.), Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Mitch McConnell (Ky.) — voted for the measure. They voted to express their disapproval of Trump’s tariffs on Canada
