Man in custody after Trump golf club incident
was once convicted of possessing a machine gun

The man in custody in connection with what is being described as a second attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump was vocal about U.S. support for Ukraine and has a long criminal and civil court history, including a conviction for possessing a machine gun. Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was taken into custody after shots were fired at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday, three senior law enforcement sources said. In 2002, court records show, he was convicted of possessing a weapon of mass destruction — the machine gun.

His equally mentally-challenged son says he didn't know his father ever owned a gun. This information makes him a liar.

Heres another example of the government changing definitions in order to charge more. A nuclear weapon is a weapon of mass destruction. So is a chemical or biological weapon. Casualties can be expected in the thousands. A machine gun is just a protected weapon that someone didnt pay the federal taxes on. Its like using the RICO laws to go after street punks. Thats not what its for.

"A weapon of mass destruction"? Wasn't it just a few years ago that the left was claiming that that Iraq had no WMDs and we were waging an illegitimate and immoral war against them? I would be willing to bet that Iraq had plenty since NBC is now claiming that semi and full auto rifles are WMDs.

Something isn't right here. ALL people convicted of having an illegal machine gun spend 10 years in Fed prison, essentially no exceptions. How did he apparently avoid prison time. ATF is extremely rigid on this. Sounds like he is running about three jokers shy of a full deck.

Reporter Wonders Why Media Took Routh
Seriously -- and Answers the Question

We actually have two questions that require answers in the wake of Sunday's assassination attempt on Donald Trump by a (well-)"known wolf". The first question: Why didn't federal security and intel agencies take Ryan Wesley Routh seriously? He had a decades-long track record of criminal activity, and numerous people tried to warn the FBI, Homeland Security, and the State Department of his dangerous nature. We may wait a long time for a satisfactory explanation for that question. Thanks to Tanya Lukyanova, however, we have a good answer to the second question: Why did American media outlets take Routh seriously?

Sky News Arabia quotes sources saying that today’s large-scale pager attack in Lebanon was possible because the Mossad spy agency got hold of Hezbollah’s communication devices before they were handed over to the terror group. The Israeli spy agency placed a quantity of PETN, a highly explosive material, on the batteries of the devices, and detonated them by raising the temperature of the batteries from afar, the source says. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier that some Hezbollah members felt their pagers heating up and disposed of them before the series of explosions that killed at least nine and injured about 2,800 people.

Since Sunday's second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, Democrats and the legacy media have been on overdrive in their efforts to blame Trump himself for the incident. One way or another, they must find a way to hang the threat of violence against Trump around his own neck, even if that means twisting logic into an unrecognizable pretzel and dispending with any effort at consistency. Trump's running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), had his hands full Sunday (prior to the attempt), making the rounds on the Sunday shows

Three guesses, and the first two don't count. After finding out about Ryan Wesley Routh's colorful history over the last 36 hours, one had to wonder how he'd managed to stay off the radar of the FBI, Homeland Security, and the State Department. Routh had multiple felony convictions involving firearms, had traveled to Ukraine on multiple occasions to join their foreign legion, and had even gotten attention from the media for his extremism. How could the feds not know about him? Well, it turns out that they did. The Wall Street Journal reported last night that several people tried to warn federal authorities that Routh was

Former President Donald Trump said that he wanted to end the was between Russia and Ukraine as President-elect — even before he takes office — though he did not say how he intended to do so, given laws barring private diplomacy. Trump made the comment during an interview on X (formerly Twitter) “Spaces” with cryptocurrency enthusiast Farokh Sarmad — the first interview the former president has granted since escaping a second assassination attempt the day before at his Florida golf club. Democrats smeared Trump as a Russian puppet, yet Russian President Vladimir Putin did not invade any countries while Trump was president.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Monday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” that former President Donald Trump’s politics of “hate and division” put the United States’ security in danger. Clinton said, “I’m very hopeful, and even optimistic that Americans who do not want to see a continuation of this politics of hate and division will reject Trump.” She continued, “The object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world. You know, they were merciless about what they saw as President Biden’s problems in the debate and calling for him to withdraw.

Saudi diplomat and former intelligence chief Turki al-Faisal recently lamented the weak response by the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden and the greater West to Yemen’s Houthi terrorists disrupting commercial shipping in the Red Sea, the Guardian reported on Sunday, dismissing “pinprick bombings” as insufficient. The British Guardian newspaper was relaying comments that al-Faisal made during an appearance at London’s Chatham House to discuss the current turmoil in the Middle East. Following the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump, a common refrain from the left was that political violence is a "both sides" issue. MSNBC tried that line multiple times, as did some of the major newspapers, with the idea being that you can't call out Democrat rhetoric because Republican rhetoric has caused issues as well. So what was the evidence for that equivocation being used as a way to deflect from someone trying to murder Trump again? CNN's Dana Bash provided a perfect example of it when she accused JD Vance of inciting "bomb threats" in Springfield, OH. To be sure, the claim

Watching the media/left-wing euphoria on national and state-level polling numbers since Democrat elites forced Joe Biden out of the presidential race and installed Kamala Harris in his place has been an exercise in frustration mixed with sprinklings of hilarity along the way. But not long after the Democrat National Convention, reality soon intruded and the Harris-Walz political honeymoon fizzled to some extent, with GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump edging her out earlier this month in a Siena/New York Times national poll, as we previously reported. This is something that had not been expected considering the six weeks of fawning coverage she received.
