I hope any idiot who might even be tempted to buy into this "show of force" remembers that this idiot did NOTHING for 3+ years to secure this border. This is complete election year theater.

For the Mexicans to surge their military and police to the borderline so publicly like this, and keeping in mind what the President of Mexico told Biden what he had to do last week for the Mexicans to help to stop the caravans of Third World origin non Mexican illegal aliens coming up across Mexico with the intention of gaining unlawful entry to the USA. So you have to figure that Biden reached some sort of covert side deal with the Mexican President that would be in keeping with Biden’s and the leftist and socialist Democrat political agenda to flood the USA with illegal aliens and allow them to remain in the USA, with Biden therefore most likely agreeing not to deport any of the tens of millions of Mexican illegal aliens who are in the USA and maybe even allowing all those Mexican illegal aliens to bring their foreign families into the USA. Always remember just because Biden may have reached such an agreement with the President of Mexico, does not by any means in reality indicate that the caravans of Third World origin illegal aliens won’t end up in the USA because they are being escorted and being smuggled to the borderline and into the USA by the Mexican criminal cartels who do not take orders from the Government of Mexico that is known to be seriously corrupt and always eager to accept big time bribes in the spirit of the Spanish word “la mordida” that is translated as “the bite” in the English language.

How much you want to bet that Mexico lets them cross our border anyway?

In the Mexican constitution there are provisions stopping the Mexican Government from interfering with Mexican citizens leaving the Mexican territories. That provision was put in there so that Mexicans could continue to unlawfully cross the Mexico-US borderline as they see fit without regard for US Immigration laws without being stopped by the Mexican military or law enforcement. So all those Mexican law enforcement and military personnel who are supposedly “surging” (Biden’s word) to the Mexico-US borderline will not stop potential Mexican Illegal aliens from crossing into the USA. Instead based upon Mexico’s known corrupt history will be accepting a lot of bribes from the Mexican criminal cartels, who actually control most of that borderline these days, and who are engaged in the smuggling of most all the non Mexican Third World origin potential illegal aliens who are headed North to unlawfully cross into the USA where they know that Biden and his crew will allow them to remain for partisan political purposes.

Troops could just as plausibly be readying to follow the caravan across the border, the way a running back follows a fullback's block through the defensive line. Neither scenario is particularly good..

Good move for the wrong reason.
