The looming strike by the United Auto Workers is as much a protest against Bidenomics as it is the policies of General Motors, Ford Motor, and Stellantis.
More than a decade ago, as U.S. automakers were teetering on the verge of collapse and two in the grip of bankruptcy amid the Great Recession, the unions and the autoworkers they represent made many concessions to keep the Big Three afloat. A big one was the agreement to accept contracts that no longer tied worker pay to inflation.
The pressure put on the unions at the time was tremendous. The Obama administration relentlessly pushed for acceptance of its program,

Russian leader Vladimir Putin took a moment to praise Elon Musk — Tesla and SpaceX founder — on Tuesday while attending the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
Musk’s recently disclosed decision to deny Ukraine’s request to use the Starlink satellite system against the Russian invasion has become the subject of international controversy.
“Elon Musk … is undoubtedly an outstanding person. It must be admitted. I think the whole world admits it. He is an active, talented businessman,” Putin gushed on Tuesday. Putin tossed in a jab that some of Musk’s success is thanks to “the support of the American state.”

Donald Trump has said his wife Melania's mysterious presence is part of her 'beauty,' as he opened up to Megyn Kelly about the enigmatic former first lady.
The former president, 76, sat down with Kelly for a SiriusXM interview aired on Thursday that saw him sharing insight into both Melania and his youngest son Barron, 17.
'I think part of the beauty is that mystery,' Trump said when asked what people misunderstand about his wife of more than 20 years, before comparing her with Hollywood legend Greta Garbo.'She was a great actress, But she was very reclusive, never did an interview. I don’t see Melania as like that, but she’s introspective,

Huge Development in the Missouri and Louisiana (and Gateway Pundit) v. Biden First Amendment lawsuit challenging the government’s collusion with Big Tech to suppress the speech of millions of Americans.
LOOKS LIKE GATEWAY PUNDIT IS GOING TO THE SUPREME COURT!!!
Sources sent Gateway Pundit a copy of an unfiled legal document the Department of Justice’ (DOJ) appears to have leaked to the friendly press. The document is a draft Motion to Stay, to be filed at the U.S. Supreme Court. The draft motion asks the Supreme Court to stay (halt) last week’s ruling by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The new St. Louis district attorney has doubled the amount of criminal prosecutions in his first three months in office, compared to the number pursued by his woke, Soros-backed predecessor over the same period last year.
Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore, 54, replaced Democrat Kim Gardner, 48, in May after the George Soros-backed attorney resigned amid pressure from Missouri's Attorney General Andrew Bailey, a Republican.
Gardner faced criticism for her lax enforcement of crimes that saw criminals back on the streets of St. Louis facing little punishment even as crime spiked throughout the Midwest hub.

Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement that President Joe Biden is so afraid of the truth that his administration will demand news outlets scrutinize House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry.
“This is a new low – the Biden White House brazenly asking the corporate media to do their bidding is outrageous and flies in the face of basic ethics. Republicans launched this impeachment inquiry to ensure the American people get the facts,” Hinson, a former journalist and news anchor, told Breitbart News. “Is the Biden Administration so afraid of the truth that they’ll stoop to this level of desperation? Republicans will uncover the facts and the media

Hunter Biden hosted a breakfast meeting between his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, his then-business partner Devon Archer, a prospective international business client — in the vice president’s mansion in Washington, D.C., in 2015, according to a report. Just the News reported Thursday the prospective business client was international banker Marc Holtzman, who Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were courting for business in Kazakhstan. Holtzman in turn was advocating for former Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov — who is currently imprisoned for treason — to become the next United Nations Secretary General, according to the report.
The meeting was recently disclosed by Archer in congressional testimony, the report said.

Hunter Biden is feeling 'dark, gloomy and defeated' in the wake of his gun indictment - and in 'despair' over his soaring legal fees, a source close to him has claimed.
The first son faces up to 25 years in prison after being indicted on three felony charges for lying about his crack cocaine addiction when buying a gun.
CNN's Paula Reid spoke about how deflated those closest to Hunter were at the announcement. 'I got the sense that it's just pretty dark and gloomy over there, they feel defeated,' Reid said.
Hunter has not been discussing the case or the potential charges with his father, President Joe Biden,

The president knew Hunter Biden was in a crack cocaine-fueled meltdown when he bought a gun – a crime the First Son was indicted for Thursday.
Joe Biden left his son a voicemail on October 15, 2018 sounding close to tears and begging him to get help, just three days after Hunter bought a .38 caliber Colt revolver from a Delaware store by lying on a federal form that he was not a drug addict.
On Thursday a Delaware grand jury indicted Hunter on three charges for gun crime, a felony which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Exclusive—House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) subpoenaed two longtime employees of the Department of Justice Tax Division on Thursday who were involved with the department's yearslong investigation into President Joe Biden's son Hunter.
The subpoenas, reviewed by the Washington Examiner, required senior litigation counsel Mark Daly and trial attorney Jack Morgan to appear for depositions before the committee on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28, respectively. The pair had been named among 13 people House Republicans asked to interview in June as part of their inquiry into allegations that Hunter Biden received preferential treatment from the DOJ

President Biden, who has never taught a single semester-long course at the University of Pennsylvania, mused on Thursday about when he used to “teach political theory” at the Ivy League school.
“Our democracy is under attack, and we got to fight for it,” Biden, 80, said during a speech at Maryland’s Prince George’s Community College.
“I taught at the University of Pennsylvania for four years and I used to teach political theory. And folks, you always hear, every generation has to fight for democracy.”
Biden was an honorary professor at the Philadelphia school, serving as the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Professor of the Practice from February 2017 to April 2019,

The White House, Democrats, and their allied media outlets have been pushing outright disinformation by claiming there is “no evidence” to support an impeachment inquiry into Democrat President Joe Biden, contradicting mounds of evidence uncovered by House Republicans and already in the public sphere.
The left’s message since the launch of the impeachment inquiry into Biden seems clear and coordinated: several media outlets, Democrats, and the White House itself have all used phrases such as “without evidence,” “no evidence,” or “no direct evidence” to describe the House GOP effort that Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced earlier this week. But their claims are, quite simply, disinformation
