Famous survivalist Bear Grylls is publicly acknowledging how “wrong” he was to push for a meatless diet. The “Man vs. Wild” star revealed he is now “embarrassed” he published a vegan cookbook, but going back to meat has been a “game-changer” for him. “I was vegan quite a few years ago,” Grylls told UK Telegraph. “In fact, I wrote a vegan cookbook, and I feel a bit embarrassed because I really promoted that,” Grylls said. “I thought that was good for the environment and I thought it was good for my health. And through time and experience and knowledge and study, I realized I was wrong on both counts.”

“We felt discarded, disappointed and angry that they just tossed us aside to make an extra dollar for the hotel. It’s just not right,” Deanna Mifsud, 35, fumed.
Mifsud and Gary Moretti, 37, are both originally from New York, and plan to marry June 24 at Lippincott Manor in upstate Walkill, with 160 guests from throughout the country expected to attend, she said.

A couple's wedding plans are in chaos after an Upstate New York hotel hosting their guests abruptly cancelled their rooms to make space for a migrant influx.
Gary Moretti, 37, and Deanna Mifsud, 35, slammed The Crossroads Hotel in Newburgh after discovering it had cancelled 30 rooms they had booked just weeks before their nuptials.
'It was absolutely devastating,' Moretti told DailyMail.com. 'It really just hit us hard, despite having contracts and thinking we were locked in - it's disrespectful.'
