The "Dinner" was initiated to raise scholarship monies for Journalism students... in recent years(decades) the Millions they raise are all spent on the Dinner itself, and salaries for the staff that organize and operate it. Valet parkers, and flower arrangers, got more than scholarships spent for students. It has turned into a SAG, Oscars, Grammy, red carpet event....for media spokesmodels, and Politicians. Politicians who hire big name screen writers and comedians to write the scropted standup routine they diver.
The ONE "redeeming" moment in recent memory was when Obama, and others roasted Trump there, insulting him so harshly that it caused the watershed "That was the moment I decided to run" response.

If Biden is there for an hour, in the same room with the Press...it will exceed to the total amount of cumulative time he has spent in the presence of the Press since he 1st announced his campaign for office...but...as always he will not be taking questions.
They will all cheer and clap.

It's long past time to get rid of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which is, as everyone is told on PBS and NPR, who funds the shows.
"The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a private corporation funded by the American People."
A PRIVATE CORPORATION FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Leftists would lose their minds if there was a conservative private corporation that was funded with tax dollars.
Time to cut the head off the snake.

NPR: "How DARE you label us as state-affiliated media. We don't rely on government funding. We get lots of our funding from the private sector."
OK, fine. Then let's cut off your federal funding.
