Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) responded to questions regarding former President Trump — from the president’s forthcoming announcement to his recent “attacks” of the governor — but DeSantis kept his nose clean, refusing to criticize the president and instead taking aim at the establishment media and woke corporations while dismissing everything else as “just noise.”
DeSantis was asked about Trump’s announcements and what one questioner described as the former president’s “less than flattering” remarks about him. The governor, however, simply explained that “incoming fire” is just the nature of the job.

Geez...he wasn't referring to Trump, he specifically referred/mentioned the MSM attacking him as "Incoming Fire"

I am waiting to see what President Trump plans. He gave us four good years. So good that perhaps the CCP decided it need to hasten its One Hundred Year Marathon (see Michael Pillsubury’s book) to take over global leadership and sent us and the world the Covid virus? In the meantime, Ron DeSantis, whom I have also admired for some time, first noticing him in House committee hearings, is remaining calm, continues to impress as governor of Florida. President Trump exerted power in an international arena that would be quite new to DeSantis. Managing a major country, the leader of the Free World, its domestic and international relations, is a far cry from managing a state. It’s my guess that DeSantis himself would agree. He is a pragmatist.
I would like to see the heat off both of them re 2024 until we see what happens in the Congress, what happens with Biden and Co. We too often have the tendency to get too far out over our skis.

Why didn't the reporter ask St. DeSantis about his endorsed senate candidate O'Dea that he and W Bush trumpeted so loudly for and got his clock cleaned? You know the guy that made it a campaign meme his hatred for everything President Trump including President Trump's supporters. But maybe that was too much "noise".

#3. O'Dea was the Republican candidate in left-leaning Colorado. DeSantis and Bush supported him for that reason. Trump opposed him, and maybe caused his defeat, solely for personal reasons. Now we get emails from Trump asking for donations to ensure Herschel gets elected. Why is Herschel's seat more important than O'Dea's? Republicans can either be team players or not. Trump is not a team player.

#5. Since you asked. Yes seriously. For that matter, maybe Trump can give Herschel some of the $100 million he cadged from Republicans thinking they were donating to his candidates instead of himself.

In re #4, you are asking if the Peoples' Republic of Colorado will suddenly wake up. This will not happen. Not for now. The local dim/msm intelligencia will make sure no one wakes the hell up.
