The Biden administration is sending another $600 million in military aid to Ukraine, the State Department announced on Thursday, as the U.S. rushes more weapons to fuel Kyiv's counteroffensive against Russia.
The White House said it was the 21st time that the Defense Department has pulled weapons and other equipment off the shelves to deliver to Ukraine.
The package will include more of the same types of ammunition and equipment that have helped Ukrainian forces beat back the Russian forces in portions of the east and south.

Only concern is that these weapons and ammunition transfers will prevent the IRS, EPA, FDA and other non law enforcement federal agencies from being fully equipped to confront Americans. The thought that the additional 87,000 IRS agents have to audit small businesses, churches and individuals making less than $400,000 with just a handful of bullets and only a sidearm is frightening. Recall the video of the FBI agents blocking the entrance to Mar-a-Largo last month with serious automatic weapons in their hands. Do you really expect an EPA inspector or a Food & Drug employee to have less than these weapons of war? Come on, man.
As to Ukraine, Russia has 7,000 nuclear weapons, so this arms shipment is backing Putin, who appears to be as ill as Biden, into a corner,

This is wrong. Not one more dollar or one more bullet goes to Ukraine. The American people deserve a total accounting of everything that has already been sent. I want to know who authorizes this spending. Has Joe decided he is King now? It is unconscionable that one dollar or one bullet goes out of this country when Americans are suffering. We demand full accountability of how much has been delivered there and exactly who authorized it. Do we even know what happens to it all when it gets to Ukraine?

As we all know, this war did not have to happen. Biden kept poking the tiger in the eye to get it started. Looks like he's still at it. Why is biden doing this and why are we supporting Ukraine so much? What is Biden's end game?

No more funds, this is insane, and we better not rebuild this country either, our own country needs the money the dems are so happily giving away. I agree with poster 10, Biden stoked this in the beginning, he dared Putin to strike, more or less.

Good. I'm for it. Where and when was Russia going to next try to swipe a province, in the opinion of those who don't think this war is our business? Which country was he going for next and when? The Baltics? Poland? Undoubtedly Moldova was on the agenda. Romania? Turkey? My bet is on Turkey, because I note that all his wars were former soviet union except Syria, and lo, Syria is the piece needed to encircle Turkey.

14, you're not a 'former' Dem. There is zero connection between Putin invading random places in Europe and our strategic security concerns. Even without our help for the corrupt Ukrainians, the Russians couldn't take the country.
Now, all we're seeing is our tax dollars going out and 10% coming back for the Big Guy.

This is the same scam the Democrats ran in the runnup to the Civil War. Back then they tried to arm the slave holding states while disarming the north.
Because the country is organized differently, there is no geographically safe (for them) place to send the armaments inside the country. And from what we've already seen, those armaments are shipped out of Ukraine elsewhere, to America's enemies around the globe.
Meanwhile, are they being replaced in our arsenals? Somehow I doubt this.

The recent flurry of propaganda showing progress against Russia is being paid off. Biden probably told them they need to freshen up the propaganda and make it appear as they’re winning so he could get away with sending more. No mention of the 10% for the big guy, here, but you can bet the Biden family is getting theirs.

Prior to WWII, Hitler was the darling of the West and was given boatloads of money. The Bush Family and several Banker's were delighted to get into bed with Hitler. Ukraine is simply a pawn/whore (that is not to say the Ukrainian people are all bad) being used and the price is extremely high.

Help the Ukrainians stop the Russians in Ukraine, or fight the Russians with NATO troops in Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
There is no actual third option, regardless of how much the fantasy spinners say that there is.
Reality is hard sometimes.
And no matter how much you plan for "what you would do"........The enemy gets a vote.
And Russia is the enemy, and they mean to move their borders out to what they deem as 'more defensible locations', which happen to be in other people's countries. But then, Putin thinks the USSR was perfectly wonderful, and that the Eastern Bloc countries should still be his property. Putin thinks he is correcting "an error in history".

So far, I see no accounting for the money sent to Ukraine. Every day or week news comes out, Biden sending billions and billions to Ukraine. I think that this is hush money. My thoughts about the Ukrainian oligarchs: Send us money or we will squeal on ya Joe baby. In my opinion, Joe baby is being black mailed. We, the people of USA are paying the bill of black mailers. I have empathy for the civilians in Ukraine. Not for money grubbing, rich beyond belief olighachs. Will someone with male parts please ask for a reconing (sp) of OUR money?

I am really amazed at how propagandized the commentors are on this issue. I would suggest getting some REAL sources of information. Look at some actual videos by folks who are there. Read accounts by people who have been fighting. Look at some foreign military breifiings, there is an Austrian briefing that is useful.
And look at some non-US sources. There are some Australians reporting which shows up on youtube which are pretty factual.
This is normally a pretty sensible crowd of folks....but not on this issue. Minds are so closed to the facts on this.
Spend a bit of time on independent research....look at a range of youtube videos. You'll find a lot of pro Russian stuff and some pro Ukrainian stuff, and there are a lot of folks working to try to get the facts, too.
Snark and 'cool comments' aren't actually a substitute for facts and learning. It saddens me to see so many closed minds here, with so much disinformation and so little actual information. There are some long videos done by Perun, an Australian/ which look at the larger issues such as logistics and economics, based on best information, but then, that takes a lot of time and effort to listen and learn. I suspect too many will just enjoy their snark and stay disinformed and misinformed.

Here's a challenge.
Watch this video, and see if you learn anything. This is an Austrailian who normally reports on military logistics, economics and battle planning.
The title is "Myths and Claims of the Russian-Ukraine War".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x0O_oObJBU&ab_channel=Perun
But only watch if you are looking for a fresh, outside view, and some facts. I am sad to say, that I doubt that a single LDotter will bother.

It's almost like Dems want a proxy war with Russia.
