After nearly two years of talking about it, Joe Biden finally rolled out his student-loan forgiveness plan … and apparently nothing else. According to Axios, the White House didn’t bother to gather the data on eligibility, didn’t create a system which would check it, and has no system yet in place to fully complete the process.
Did Biden drop the ball again — or did he never expect to be allowed to run with it in the first place?
The agency doesn’t have income data for most of the 43 million Americans eligible for forgiveness, meaning around 35 million people — including Pell Grant recipients — will have to attest

A federal appeals court blocked a Biden administration plan Friday that would coerce doctors to perform gender-transition medical procedures and abortions that violate their conscience or medical judgment.
The plaintiffs, a religious hospital and group of over 20,000 health-care professionals, launched the lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services in August 2016 after the federal government mandated that most health-care providers perform and provide insurance coverage for such procedures.
The district court had determined that HHS could not interpret or enforce Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act

One of the first things that Charlie Crist did when he won the Democratic primary for the governor’s race in Florida was to step in it big time by insulting Floridians who might support Gov. Ron DeSantis. He told them he didn’t want their vote and claimed they had “hate in their heart.” He then dug the hole deeper with his hilarious praise of Joe Biden which isn’t going to go over well in Florida. But Crist wasn’t finished stepping in it yet. He attacked DeSantis, “I’m not one to use those sort of strong words, unless they’re true… He’s a barbaric, wannabe dictator.”

If Democrats ever had an original idea, it would die of loneliness. Such is the case with them calling any prominent Republican a fascist.
For years, Democrats used to call Republicans racist. They continue to do so, mind you. However, "fascist" is the new, hip insult that is used to rile a rabidly toxic Democratic base and scare voters into thinking that supporting any Republican candidate is contributing to the imminent collapse of the United States. For years, former President Donald Trump was dubbed a fascist. Now, the Democrats are turning their ire toward Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Federal investigators obtained a search warrant for former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month by pointing to a raft of highly classified material they’d already obtained from there, according to a legal affidavit unsealed Friday.
Records the FBI obtained from Trump’s Florida home in advance of the Aug. 8 search bore indications they contained human source intelligence, intercepts under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and signals intelligence, as well as other tags indicating high sensitivity. Several of those tightly-controlled documents contained Trump’s “handwritten notes,” the partially-redacted

The Department of Justice released the redacted affidavit on Friday used to justify the raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
The affidavit can be viewed here.
U.S. magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart approved the release of the redacted version on Thursday, arguing that the DOJ’s redactions “are narrowly tailored to serve the Government’s legitimate interest in the integrity of the ongoing investigation.”
Reinhart said the DOJ convinced him that some parts of the affidavit should be redacted, as unsealing it fully would reveal “(1) the identities of witnesses, law enforcement agents,

Joe Biden is on a roll. It’s just not the kind of roll anyone should want him to be on. After returning from his multi-week vacation in the middle of multiple crises, the president held a rally in Rockville, MD because no one else outside of a hundred-mile radius of the beltway can stand him. Despite not filling the school gym he was speaking in, Biden launched into a multi-pronged attack against his political enemies. He labeled Republicans as “semi-fascist” just a day after he declared himself king to force middle-class Americans to pay for the student loans of a small, mostly well-off minority of the country.

There it is. He said it out loud. Joe Biden thinks you’re a fascist. And the difference between this and the last epithet conservatives were called around election time is that this time Biden has an armed FBI and Antifa to act as his punishing squad. Gladly. Here’s what the president told a Democratic Party fundraiser near the White House on Thursday.
“What we’re seeing now is either the beginning of the death knell of the extreme MAGA philosophy. It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something — it’s like semi-fascism,” he said, according to a pool reporter. “This is not your father’s

Exuberant over a string of recent legislative victories, and launching his midterm campaigning in earnest, President Joe Biden swaggered into Maryland on Thursday and excoriated his predecessor’s philosophy as “semi-fascism,” in what constituted an unusually pointed and highly charged denunciation of Republicans. “What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of extreme MAGA philosophy,” Biden told Democratic donors in the Washington suburb of Rockville. Calling out those he labeled as “extreme” Republicans, Biden said: “It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.”

Pause for just a moment on all the times you have heard it said how terrible it is that we are a divided nation, and how frequently these laments also carry the call for more openness and tolerance between people, and that the way to unify this nation is through acceptance of others. Okay, now toss all of those sentiments into a dumpster. Currently, in Dallas they are staging a massive national podcasting conference, dubbed Podcast Movement 2022. Said to be the largest community of podcasters, all the expected events are there from panels and dinners to an extensive media row, with thousands in attendance. However, one guy has sent

All the clues have pointed toward Warner Bros. stepping away from the leftist infection that has plagued it and so many other corporations and studios for some time. Thanks to some angry former HBO Max executives, we’ve got confirmation that the house of Bugs Bunny is pushing away the disease that has destroyed a laundry list of franchises. According to Deadline, 14 percent of the staff was laid off on WB’s streaming service, HBO Max. Those laid off include a lot of VPs:
Overall, 14% of staff — about 70 people — are being laid off Monday, the vast majority of them on the Max side.
