It sounds like Colin Kaepernick’s workout with the Raiders was terrible.
The Raiders worked out the former 49ers quarterback, who last played in 2016, and the decision immediately sent shockwaves through the NFL. However, it went about as bad as it could go, according to former Raiders player Warren Sapp. (Tweet) “I heard it was a disaster. I heard it was one of the worst workouts ever. I’m wondering how the hell this happened and the tape didn’t get out, right,” Sapp explained during an interview on VladTV.

Kaepernick was a very mediocre QB in his prime -- which has long since passed!!!!!
Who wants a old, untalented, mentally ill QB with tons of "baggage" to even be your 3rd string QB?!?!?!?!?

At this point, he’ll be paid better and be more successful at MSDNC.

It takes dedication for hard work to be a QB, and have the trust and confidence of a coach and players. A QB has to get along with the coach, who is expending endless effort to make a team. No coach is going to invest in Kneecaps, who don't work, disrupts the locker room, and runs of the fans that pay the bills. Kneecaps has turned to flab, his mind and body. He will spend his life living off his NFL pension.

Sure. Let me pick a washout jerk and pay him 3 million to sit on the bench. That's how I got rich enough to own my own football team. Colin, go marry a Kardashian.

Even IF he were a decent QB, which he's not, he would still be a walking bottle of Nitroglycerin, metaphorically speaking. I can only imagine the racial injustices this moron would dream up if things didn't go his way. He's a total disaster, although he should form a Clubhouse/Support Group with the other "Coulda been" star of our age, Prince Harry. Both made decisions which severely limit their future options. Should be a lesson to young kids everywhere. Watch what you say in public, and don't do anything before seeking wise counsel.

#1 nails it. He was never that great, and age and rust always take a toll. When you barely made the grade in your prime.....when you are WAY past prime, not a chance.

The desire of Colin "Kleptomaniac" Kaepernick is to make the roster on any team. Even if it means 5th string quarterback. He wants reporters to surround him while he blares his Communist agenda. Flimsy brain and arm.

The guy had one good season 10 years ago. I still wish someone would sign him an prove why he's been outta the league for as long as he has. Maybe the Vikings or Bears (full disclosure: I hold an ownership interest in The Green Bay Packers, Inc.)

There are high school players with more skills. Fade to black and go away. The best position on a team for you is riding the pine. Which means sitting on the bench and watching.

I wouldn't expect this guy to throw me a bag of peanuts from 5 seats down the aisle. His best bet for employment in any football stadium is to flop a hot dog in a bun and direct customers to the condiment station.

Of course it was a disaster. The dude is 34 and hasn't played in six years. He was never going to be the second coming of Brady. And Sapp is right, if the workout had been the least bit promising we'd have seen non-stop replays of it all over SportsCenter. That we've seen no sign of it only proves it went badly for all involved.

I've noticed it has been suspiciously quiet about his tryout with the Raiders, and his buds who were talking him up aren't talking anymore. People forget that he was riding the 49er's bench when he started his kneeling crusade. He wouldn't have been there if he was any good.

If you can beat up your girlfriend, significant other or your wife and still play in the NFL, then if Kapernick could still play, he would have been signed by now. Bets are Kapernick can't perform.

For several years my car has sported a sticker which says “Stand Up For Your Country” with an American flag in the background. It is aimed directly at Kaepernick. I got it on Bill O’Reilly’s website.

I remember quite a few years ago hearing Ron Jaworski say on ESPN that Kaepernick could be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. I knew right then Ron was an idiot.

I find it especially ironic that he was adopted at birth, the product of an Irish American single woman and a sperm donor deadbeat dad, was given every advantage in life, and he hates whites.
Go figure.

In 1968 at the Mexico olympics two Black athletes stood on the winner's stand and raised their fists in anger at the USA. At the same olympics George Foreman displayed a small American flag in the boxing ring. George Foreman went on to become famous and made millions of dollars. The Black track athletes (John Carlos, was that one of the men?) disappeared into obscurity to this day. You dis' an entire country, you pay the price.

CK could have played for a team within a year or so of his leaving SF, but somebody convinced him that his message about oppression worked better if he was unemployed. Sounds like that muslim girlfriend of his pretty much ran through his money and I bet he is broke, or nearly so. He is the least oppressed person I have ever seen. He got adopted into a loving family, he is half white too. He insulted his family so badly they want nothing to do with him. He is a duped idiot and a complete moron.

He should consider himself lucky. If he did play, every defensive linebacker in the league would be targetting him for how he harmed professional football.
