On January 6, 2021, several members of the Oath Keepers marched up the US Capitol steps, stood in a line, and sang the National Anthem with the tens of thousands of patriots outside the building.Several members of the Oath Keepers, who were in Washington DC only to provide protection to speakers at the several organized protests that week, walked into the US Capitol. They were seen taking pictures inside the building. Now the Biden Department of Justice, under the direction of Matthew Graves, the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, are threatening those same men with life in prison.

Seems like they are taunting people to do a prison break to justify their investigation. Why else would they keep delaying trials and upping charges weekly. Maybe they are losing the court of public opinion battle and trying to stay relevant to support the illegal Liz Cheney J6 court. She needs to be told if she is convicted of a conspiracy on this illegal panel she will do jail time!

what is the problem with " ... Don't be too sure about the mass pardon. These people should never have been in jail and I have yet to hear anything from the republicans. It'll go something like this - if you vote us in, we'll let J6 political prisoners free. Just like they said they would recall Obamacare. This is a very bad on America. These people are innocent - how many BLM are in jail for murdering people, burning down people's businesses during their riots - I could go on. I don't think anyone has been jailed for that.

This is only a little different from the "Whitmer Kidnap Plot' whereby government agents planned a fake operation and tried to get some weak minded individuals to go along with it. The only real difference is that Kidnapping a governor is an obviously illegal act, whereas walking through the Capitol building, public property, partially paid for by those protestors is not illegal in and of itself. (Although stealing elections, which they thought they were protesting, IS illegal... well, it used to be anyway.) I am ashamed of our entire national political system and the agencies and bureaucracies that support it, for allowing this travesty. this miscarriage of justice.. I'm even a little ashamed of myself for not doing everything within my power to get these people released from their unconstitutional durance vile.

Memorial Day is a profound American holiday because it connects the present with so many different points of our past. It was originally known as Decoration Day, a day set aside to honor those who lost their lives in the Civil War—America’s most costly war, taking the lives of at least 620,000 men. Among American holidays, Memorial Day is unique also in that it originated from the vanquished, not the victor. After the war was over, women from the South—Columbus, Mississippi and Richmond, Virginia—set out to decorate with flowers the gravesites of their fallen Confederate soldiers.

Roger Scruton was a British philosopher who spent his life defending conservative values. Sir Roger, as he was after his knighthood in 2016, saw the antagonist culture as a rejection of inherited values, including gender distinctions, capitalism, patriotism, religious faith, and everyday morality such as honesty and prohibitions against theft, adultery, and other evils. No one understood antagonism better, on a theoretical level, than Scruton, and he wrote with passion and clarity. For anyone wishing to understand the culture of antagonism, Scruton's books, including The Meaning of Conservatism, The Aesthetics of Music, and How to Be a Conservative, are a good place to start.
