Irrespective of privacy concerns from The American Civil Liberties Union of South Dakota, the Pentagon has decided to launch solar powered balloons across six different states this Friday. These balloons are intended to be a persistence surveillance system in order for the Pentagon to track narcotics and Homeland Security threats. This is according to the filing with the Federal Communications Commission. The Federal Communications Commission authorized these balloons to be launched into high altitude on July 12th. This is considered an experimental special temporary authorization.

They cannot secure the border through which all the narcotics are pouring in! But want to use solar powered balloons in our backyards!!
How about launching them over Delaware, so we can see who is providing drugs to Bidet ?

Why not over the southern border states? Why the interest in spying on the upper mid west? Doesn’t military operations against civilians violate the posse comitatis act? This is just replacing troops on ground with spies in the sky - same intent.

How about 'Throws Privacy to the WIND' ??
How is the 'target' going to be tracked ? If you have no way to identify the target, among many
OTHER radar hits, this is useless. There's something we're not being told ( no surprise there ) !
or
This is trial balloon ( pun intended ), toe in the water to see how well the rubes in flyover country
will tolerate being spied upon. After all, South Dakota is where all the illegal boarder crossings
are happening. Right ??!!
In addition. this has been tried before, several times, during the cold war.
The short answer is, it's not very useful.
Seems there is one insurmountable problem with this ( these ) schemes - wind.
They can control neither the wind intensity or direction at any altitude so the balloons
are a crap shoot at best - they go where the wind takes them. Launch a dozen or a thousand
and hope you can be the one to get there first and maybe, just maybe one of them
photographed ( tracked ) something interesting or useful.
Typical government boondoggle - $$$$$$$$ for NOTHING !

This technology allows the recipients of the raw data to track all vehicle movement from point of origin to all subsequent destinations, track the MPH speed for all vehicles and build a tracking database for all movement within the coverage area.

They actually had the chutzpah to refer to it as a temporary authorization. Remember, our military now has placed a greater priority on woke programs than on securing our freedoms and sovereignty.
Sounds like early work on a system to accurately track vehicle miles driven for the purpose of tracking, regulating, and limiting our freedom of movement. And to eliminate use of so-called "fossil fuels"...

Just last week I saw a small turboprop airplane flying low and slow over my town along I-40. What was unusual besides the low and slow track it took was the array of aerials sticking out the nose of the plane. Maybe tracking drug runners on the interstate?

Just as bath house barry and his treasonous thugs turned the IRS ,Commerce dept, Ed.dept, fbi and all the intel goons among others against the American people, creepy child molesting biden has upped the ante to include the USPS FDA USDA and now the military to slime around and push the average joe into a corner. Wonder what might be to psyop reason and probable out come of all that?

Sounds to me like an illegal program to surveil American citizens.

Do we, USA, have means of shooting down drones and things like that? Small arms anti aircraft weapons? Find out how the Ukrainians take down the missiles? Balloons launched into high altitude? There must be a way to find and destroy. Get's worser and worser every day.

They're not observing what happens at the border since they're allergic to that. So what could they be tracking? How narcotic shipments move around inside the country? How is that useful? It's the border where they should start. So their narcotic tracking excuse doesn't fly. The government is lying again. They're up to something and it's probably something Hitler would be proud of.

I'm assuming that they won't be releasing any of these balloons over Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, Mississippi, and other gun loving states with lots of good old boys -- because they will quickly become very expensive target practice!!!

Hey Pentagon Slugs, go to the Mexico Border, you can use your eyes, and save the billions for the fake balloon tools!
