Rep. Liz Cheney says Jan. 6 panel will

Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming said the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol plans to reveal new details about that day and recommend legislation and criminal penalties for officials who failed to carry out their duties. Ms. Cheney, who is one of two Republicans on the nine-member panel, said their first priority is to issue recommendations, but the panel also will look to punish officials who didn’t do enough to reel in the attack. “We’re looking at things like do we need additional enhanced criminal penalties for the kind of supreme dereliction of duty that you saw with [President Donald] Trump

Comments:

Keep voting for the person with the (R), who then will stab you in the back. No dereliction of duty charges for Nancy Pelosi (D), who personally refused to increase Capitol Police staffing beyond that of any normal day despite huge crowds anticipated. No charges either for the agency folks who whipped up the crowd, planted fake bombs, and opened the doors so the "insurgents" could walk around inside and take selfies.

Better be careful what you wish for, Liz. I saw the phrase "extreme dereliction of duty". President Trump never did an act like that (guess you could say he had extreme dereliction of duty towards the swampy deep state), he loved America and only wanted the best for the country. You want to talk about extreme dereliction of duty - just look at the present WH. President Trump tried to close the border to the invaders from the south. This WH opened them wide open. During the pandemic, the invaders were never tested and sent all over America with covid and whatever else. All this while Americans were locked down and then if they didn't get the shot, were fired. That's extreme dereliction of duty, Liz.

If Cheney is right about what that Democrat dominated kangaroo court will report and recommend, there is little doubt the report and recommendations will come out in the 30 days before the upcoming November election. As the Democrat dominated kangaroo court proceedings are one hundred percent political.

She must've consulted with Adam Schiff. As the late great writer Jerry Pournelle for Byte magazine would sarcastically write whenever an upstart software company would desperately hawk sham vaporware that would never see the light of day: "Real. Soon. Now." That usually meant the kiss of death in the review for that software's bug (or "feature")

What legislation? Establishing gulags for political opponents? Putting Trump under house arrest (which house, by the way -- Florida, Jersey, or New York?)? Maybe you can get this "legislation" through the House. I doubt it will make it through the Senate. Any other bright ideas that would keep that grubby opposition from crawling through broken glass to vote out you and many of these other idjit Democrats this fall?
