Bill Clinton signed a copy of his memoir to Ghislaine Maxwell, a photograph exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com reveals. The former President wrote 'To Ghislaine with love' in blue marker in the front cover of 'My Life', said Maxwell's former dog walker Rasmus Alpsjö.
Alpsjö told DailyMail.com that he remembered finding the copy of 'My Life', which came out in 2004, one day at Maxwell's $15million New York townhouse. He took a picture to remind himself of it and thought that it added to the 'mystery' about who Maxwell was. The friendly tone of the letter is one of the latest indications of how close Maxwell was with Clinton,

FBI agents violated their own rules at least 747 times in 18 months while conducting investigations involving politicians, candidates, religious groups, the news media and others, according to a 2019 FBI audit obtained by The Washington Times. The internal review revealed a ratio of slightly more than two “compliance errors” per each sensitive investigative matter (SIM) reviewed by FBI auditors.(Snip)The FBI auditors reviewed a small portion of the bureau’s total portfolio. They studied 353 cases involving sensitive investigative matters—fewer than half of the total number of such cases—and found rules broken 747 times between Jan. 1, 2018, and June 30, 2019.

President Joe Biden visited a Philadelphia elementary school Friday afternoon—and even delivered some dating advice to a classroom of third-graders. 'I want you girls to remember, no serious guys 'til you're 30,' Biden joked to a classroom of masked pupils. The School District of Philadelphia lifted its mask mandate on Wednesday, making the wearing of masks optional, but the children surrounding the president Friday all had their faces covered. Biden paid a visit Friday to the Luis Muñoz-Marín Elementary School to highlight how money was used from the American Rescue Plan on the law's one-year anniversary. In total, $1.1 billion from the bill's Secondary School Emergency

The World Health Organization advised Ukraine to destroy high-threat pathogens housed in the country's public health laboratories to prevent "any potential spills" that would spread disease among the population, the agency told Reuters. Like many other countries, Ukraine has public health laboratories researching how to mitigate the threats of dangerous diseases affecting both animals and humans including, most recently, COVID-19. Its labs have received support from the United States, the European Union and the WHO. Biosecurity experts say Russia's movement of troops into Ukraine and bombardment of its cities have raised the risk of an escape of disease-causing pathogens, should any of those facilities be damaged.

The Biden administration slashed interior immigration arrests by about half compared to the Trump years, according to an overdue report released Friday that details the massive changes at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE said it made 74,082 arrests in fiscal year 2021, down from more than 103,000 the previous year and more than 143,000 in 2019. Actual deportations also plummeted to 59,011. Under President Obama, those numbers topped 400,000 in some years, and under President Trump, they topped 300,000 in some years. Deportations of gang members dipped by more than 50% compared to the middle of the Trump years.(Snip)“We are focusing on what we consider quality arrests,”

The COVID-19 pandemic is showing signs of soon coming to an end as the world marks two years since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the virus a global pandemic. Some officials are saying that more vaccine shots may be needed in the future even after the world returns to 'normal'. Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, told CNBC's Squawk Box Friday morning that his firm plans to ask the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about the needs for a fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose soon. He cites data showing that vaccine protection wanes against Omicron after only three or four months.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned that Americans should expect to continue paying increased prices on everyday goods for the next year, offering a reversal from her previous forecast that record-high inflation would soon subside. The main culprit, she told CNBC’s “Closing Bell” on Thursday, was Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Ms. Yellen‘s claim that Russian President Vladimir Putin is to blame for America’s inflation woes echoes that of the Biden administration writ large, which has received criticism for dubbing the phrase “Putin’s price hike.” “I think there’s a lot of uncertainty that is related to what’s going on with Russia in Ukraine,” Ms. Yellen said on the network.

The suspect busted in the hate-fueled hammer attack on an Asian man in a Manhattan train station is a known “transit offender” with nearly four dozen prior arrests, cops and police sources said Thursday. Christian Jeffers, 48, who identifies as a woman, was picked up shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday—about 17 hours after she allegedly attacked the 29-year-old male victim at the 14th Street 1/2/3 station Tuesday, police said. Jeffers was charged with assault, aggravated harassment and menacing—all as hate crimes—and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said. Her arraignment was pending Thursday. Prior to that bust, she was arrested 47 times,

The Southern Poverty Law Center found hate groups in every corner of America but the most were in California and Florida, according to the center’s new “Hate Map.” The SPLC maps the locations of what it calls “active hate and anti-government extremist groups” and managed to lump in the conservative-leaning American College of Pediatricians in Florida with various Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazi organizations. The group said that last year, the hard-right movement “has worked feverishly to undermine democracy, with real-world consequences for the people and groups they target.” It also pointed to new election laws in Republican-run states and opposition to teaching critical race

The flu shot used during the 2021 to 2022 virus season was a poor match and did little to prevent circulation, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report finds. Researchers found that the vaccine only reduced the number of mild influenza by 16 percent, which they do not consider statistically significant. The flu strain that struck America this year was of the H3N2 strain, one of the more dangerous versions of the virus, and the shot was not tailored to the specific version of the virus that ended up emerging. Experts had warned of a brutal flu season this year for months leading up to it,

Already under fire for racist behavior at school sporting events, New Prague students appeared to add more fuel to the blaze Wednesday, as a TV camera at the Minnesota high school hockey tournament in St. Paul caught students flashing what appeared to be a white power symbol. But the school district said the upper-elementary students flashing the "OK" hand signal had no idea it could be interpreted as a racist gesture.(Snip)Rob Young, a New Prague hockey parent, said the youngsters were playing the "circle game." In that game, a person makes the "OK" gesture, and if another person looks, they get a punch in the shoulder.

Yet another productive person killed by the utter dregs of humanity who do nothing but consume and cause trouble. At some point we'll need to establish an exile program for such people, which would put aspiring criminals on notice and allow the rest of us live peacefully, and free up plenty of resources to help people who are in genuine need, rather than the professional welfare surfers and career criminals we now support at enormous expense.
