President Trump Supports Vaccine, Doesn’t
Support Mandates

There were several on this site yesterday who took issue with President Trump on the issue of COVID shots. I agree with Sundance: "I don’t see anything controversial in this position." Maybe some of those who called it "a game changer" will want to reconsider.

Conservatives don't go do something just because someone tells them to. But they will do more than a double take when someone they trust tells them to take this shot, knowing it could be harmful to you. I wouldn't let PDJT's position on this keep me from voting for him again, but it does make me wonder who he listens to when making decisions. He's had a small problem in the past with that.

Trump was responsible for getting the process started to create a vaccine. That the vaccine doesn't work as a vaccine isn't his fault. However, Trump would never have forced anyone to take the vaccine. It was available for those who wanted it, and that's it.

Donald Trump is the best president we've ever had. He made promises and kept them if the face of FIERCE and CONSTANT opposition from inside and outside his administration. He is a very astute guy. That's why I'm surprised he doesn't know the real history of Sars2-covid19. He would realize the US started developing it in the early 2000's and has received thousands of patents on that genome from 2002 through 2019. He would realize the DARPA began weaponization in 2008. He would realize that vaccines were under development at the same time. This was all going on at UNC Chapel Hill. Gain of function was "outlawed" in the US, so most of that effort went to China, by none other than the fauci monster. The "vaccine" was patented before the final genome of Sars2. The patent was withdrawn and resubmitted after the genome got patented. Fauci knew ALL of this all the way back from 2000 because he was the point man for the entire enterprise, here and in China. It therefore surprises me that DJT is in support of this nefarious plot, creating a disease so they could create a vaccine which is useless against the disease but has disastrous consequences for its recipients. Just take a look at VAERS. Couple that with the fact that the government has brutally suppressed efficacious therapeutics that even DJT used and supported. This is what has lead to 800,000 dead Americans. It isn't that they were unvaxxed, it IS because their government killed them to try to force every person, young or old, into taking the "vaccine". Why? So Donald, I love ya, but you're wrong on this one.

This isn't a game changer for me. We will never completely agree with anyone on everything. If the game changes for some, does that mean you'd vote for Joe or Hillary? Think about it. Trump did a masterful job as president. I totally disagree with him about the shots. But that would not stop me from voting for him.

We are reading about Trump's stand on the vaccine in the news because the people that want Trump gone also recognize the need to neutralize his support. They don't want people voting for Trump. They want them voting for someone else. Preferably a closet RINO or even a Democrat. At this point, I'm taking Trump over any other Republicant. Trump's stand on the vaccine is reasonable. We need one. Unfortunately, what we currently have is ineffective. There shouldn't be a mandate for a variety of reasons. Btw, if the vaccine were effective, there would not be any need for a mandate.

No one is perfect. DJT was the best president in my lifetime and perhaps history. Consider what he fought for and did in light of the constant leftist, rhino media, tech, and deep state assult He just did what his so called crooked experts said. I dont think he is strong on science. I have always hated his position on gasohol but love his position on energy. I dont like his position on the jab but i love how he made it happen and his position on liberty. I trust trump to not be a corrupt politician and he has my full support.

It is going to be interesting to see how the vaccine develops as we approach the next presidential election cycle. Will the side effects of the vaccine, after the 3rd and 4th booster, begin to kick in about 2023? If so, the blame will land squarely in Trumps camp. Trump would be wise to straddle the fence on this one and along with encouraging vaccine on a personal decision basis, also encourage therapeutics and early treatment.

I can't support someone who can't admit they were wrong about something as wrong as this. If you support something that kills more people than it helps, or if you continue to refer o it as a vaccine when it is NOT... or if you stand a better chance of getting covid with the non-vaccine... Then you are as big a BS artist as the D-RATs... I'll vote for nobody before I vote for that... I'm not gonna debate this.

It's a shame that Trump cannot see that the vaccines are, instead of the lie that we have been told for 18 months "safe and effective", actually unsafe, and ineffective. Those are hard earned truths that cost tens of thousands of people their lives to learn, too.

#9 has it right. President Trump did not develop the vaccines, but rather laid the groundwork for this to be done quickly. The latter point is laudable, but Trump's vanity prevents anything but glowing praise for the shots themselves, which are far less effective than advertised and feature dangerous side effects including death (20,244 and counting thus far per VAERS). This stubborn stance precludes possible criminal investigation of the players who approved and worked to force these shots on the American public through loss of work and endless propaganda about the dangers of Covid, and indeed lets Doctor Fauci and other players off the hook for developing the enhanced virus in the first place.

Trump's Magic COVID Elixir isn't all that, since 20 January 21. We keep looking for excuses to overlook the money spent on this Warp Speed quest for health, and the man who made it all possible. We complain about the lack of responsibility placed on the Big Pharma manufacturers for their product. Those who die or are otherwise seriously affected can do nothing to recover for their situations. We now point out how these vaccines were put out on waivers to the usual testing process. And we rejoiced when millions of doses were to be made available, first to our "heroes", from ER docs and nurses to supermarket baggers. Our military was called out to administer these game-changers Warp Speed. Who did all these irresponsible things leading to the current poisoning of Americans? Times have sure changed.

There was no evidence of serious side effects from the shots when Donald Trump was removed from office, therefore he is not responsible for the premature release to the public. Overall, given the odds of the danger of the shot, less than one percent, taking the shot is less risky than not taking it for most people. If you aren't comfortable with that one percent, it's your right to not get it. The old engineering rule, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies here.

He is correct, take the shots, but should not be mandated. They were making great progress with people accepting the shots, until they demanded, and mandated it. Most people just don't like to be told what to do, thus, they met self-inflicted resistance, IMO.

DJT, it is not a vaccine, it is a shot. Please speak accurately. Then, to this day the shot has not undergone any testing, except that currently being done on the public. That is irresponsible. Trump listens to nobody, except Dr. Fauci. Trump has never consulted a supporter. That is a problem. Trump has not said one work in support of the protestors who have been stripped of all their freedoms in Australia and New Zealand. Nothing said about those that have been fired for not taking the shot. I get he is not for mandates, but that is a mellow response to people being fired, and people rounded up for concentration camps in Australia.

I had no choice as I qualify for a lung transplant and would not survive any respiratory illness. Each person needs to make choices that make sense for them.

Why should President Trump disavow the vaccines when, despite not warding off an infection, they greatly reduce the severity? I’m triple vaccinated and am glad I am. The pandemic is over for me. If I get Covid I will be fine because of the vaccine. The vaccines are one of Trump’s greatest achievements.

I do not believe that the "vaccines" were created under Trump's leadership. I firmly believe that the "vaccines" were created around the same time that the virus was created and tested before the virus was intentionally released - and largely accomplished, if not by the, then by people working hand-in-hand with the virus developers. I do not believe that Trump was a willing partner in the scam but the scam was perpetrated on his watch and he is still seeking "credit" for the development of the "vaccines." I "get it" that he was lied to during his entire term in office, although I have to assume that his BS meter was glitching during the entire year of 2020. It never made sense that the SARS-CoV-2 virus emanated from nature precisely when Trump had China on the economic ropes and our democrats on the political ropes. I also do not believe that within a period of 6-8 months +/- industry and government scientists concocted - de novo - (Fauci's words indicating brand-spanking new development) a mRNA vaccine that was developed from scratch and made ready for mass distribution within the U.S. and many foreign countries. Belief in that most unlikely scenario cannot be simply written off because of one's confirmation bias that Trump couldn't possibly be hoodwinked is so strong. That said, I'd still vote for him over any democrat alive, if he runs and becomes the nominee.
