The House moved toward a vote on President Joe Biden’s social safety net and climate plan Thursday night after a key analysis said it would add to budget deficits over a decade.
Following the release of the Congressional Budget Office estimate, House Democrats teed up a final vote on the legislation as soon as Thursday night. A handful of centrist House Democrats wanted to see the nonpartisan CBO’s projection of how the Build Back Better Act would affect long-term deficits before they voted for the plan.
The $1.7 trillion bill would increase the budget deficit by $367 billion over the years 2022 to 2031, according to the CBO.

The Demented Fuhrer knows that Nancy "Putrid" Pelosi rules with an iron fist ready, at all times, to call upon Attorney General Merrick "Gestapo" Garland to do what is proper. The agenda is paramount. The projection takes second fiddle. Print until the copying machine runs out of ink. And of course, blame DJT for the raycsyt findings of the CBO.

CBO didn't score all the accounting tricks on this either to come to this figure. The Wharton School of Business looked at all the sunset clauses and fiscal deferrals, and said that the actual cost of this boondoggle is 4.9T dollars - not 1.9T.
The House will pass this crap tonight, guaranteed, and send it to the Senate. Right now, only Manchin and Sinema stand between us and Venezuela level inflation. We are in deep trouble.

$367 billion is an extremely lowball estimate. I realize it would take a little work to calculate the total damage to the American people but that's not even close. The main point is that ALL money spent on Climate Change is a huge waste. Companies like GM that swallowed their big hook will be among the first to suffer and their thick-headed CEO will be the last to realize it.

Well of course it does...currently at $28,073,835,440,100 ....I'd figure what that amounts to per person, but my calculator doesn't go that high....democraps are good at one thing, spending money we don't have...

I see this bill getting picked apart point by point to expose the socialist pork during hundreds of campaign commercials next year. If we have enough fair elections it is going to be really painful for those who vote yes.

Of course it adds to the deficit, just like everything else the lying liberals propose.
