A Houston doctor who promoted the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 from the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court has been reprimanded by the Texas Medical Board. Stella Immanuel, who went viral after former president Donald Trump retweeted her and raised eyebrows for her thoughts on diseases caused by sex with demons, was fined $500 by the board and ordered to submit proof of consent from patients after explaining all the risks of the unproven treatment, the Houston Chronicle reported Tuesday. Immanuel previously told the newspaper that she had treated “hundreds” of patients with hydroxychloroquine. The Food and Drug Administration has cautioned against the use of hydroxychloroquine

Meanwhile, any discussion of side effects of Covid-19 vaccines is banned from the media, and likely not discussed by the needle pushers, either. Why? Because tens of billions of dollars of profits are to be had, and because like any such crime, too many important people have a stake in it to reverse course.
Covid vaccine-related adverse events reported to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System through October 22. Such reporting reflects only a small fraction (1% to 10% per one study) of real-world events.
17,619 deaths
86,542 hospitalizations
94,163 urgent care visits
130,795 doctor office visits
32,305 severe allergic reactions
27,277 permanent disabled
19,584 life-threatening reactions
9,987 cases of shingles
8,656 heart attacks
7,706 cases of anaphylaxis
10,956 cases of myocarditis/pericarditis
10,465 cases of Bell's palsy
4,014 thrombocytopenia/low platelet counts
2,712 miscarriages

For perspective, in over 25 years' worth of experience with common flu vaccines, there have been fewer than 1,700 deaths reported in VAERS.

And what doc can produce proof of telling the patients about any other drug's side effects?
HCQ has not significant side effects for most people. And typically, this is left up to pharmacists and the handout that comes in the bottle of many prescriptions.

I just finally managed to get a prescription for Ivermectin but along with it, the doctor gave me a run down on possible side effects. I figure he was just doing CYA and I plan to take it anyway if I ever need it.

Fortunately, everyone I’ve prescribed it to has done nicely, including myself and spouse.
If “proof of consent explaining risks” were needed for all off-label treatments, there would be even fewer private practitioners. Most ERs just treat you with a “Good luck, buddy, that will be $900”

But no one will publish the ingredients in the covid vaccine. Not Pfizer, not J&J or any other drug company. Besides not giving out any info on the drug. There is no info on side effects of the covid But the crap shot is killing people!

Re #7. I have a friend who took the HCQ for the thirty years he lived in Africa. He took it for malaria...no side effects in all those years....a safe, effective drug. Why is the government trying to deny that and ivermectin is also being resisted? Do they want the over fifties (mainly conservative) to die off and go away? Well.. .maybe so.

Every drug has side effects, never has a doctor explained all the risks to me but every time I get a Rx filled I get a multipage list of them in writing.

Republicans have had control of government in Texas for about 30 years, which means that all appointments to every professional regulating board and every college board of regents has been by a republican governor. They need to be more careful of the appointments to these boards. Abbott needs to ask for some resignations.

This sounds like the Texas medical board has been politicized by the left. That needs looking into. It has become clear that medical professionals have somehow been coerced into requiring all patients to wear those facemasks that are quite useless against the Covid virus. They will follow the dictates of the party, while claiming to follow the science.

To #10: Money really does talk.
Pfizer just released a record revenue estimate of $82bn in 2021, double its $41bn in revenue in 2020.
Remember that means, motive, and opportunity are the three essential ingredients in every crime.

The following list of doctors have all used HCQ to treat Covid19 in their own clinical practices, and all report success rates (total remission of all symptoms) in excess of 90%: Didier Raoult, Stephen Smith, Robin Armstrong, Mohammud Alum, Vladimir Zelenko, Ivette Lozano, Jeffrey Barke, Stella Immanuel, George Fareed, Peter McCullough.
Don't Google their names, however: try DuckDuckGo, or Dogpile, because Google is actively filtering its search engines to exclude any anti-vax sites.

Hydroxychloroquine does not make tens of billions of dollars for Pfizer and its investors, and so Americans agree that HCQ is dangerous to our so-called democracy.
