America's oldest-ever living president just turned 97. Jimmy Carter celebrated the milestone at his home in Plains, Georgia, with his wife of 75 years, former First Lady Rosalynn Carter. "There are no public events planned for President Carter's 97th birthday, which he will spend in Plains," the Carters' spokeswoman tells PEOPLE. The spokeswoman added that the public could "send their birthday wishes" via an online card at the couples' Carter Center. Among the many messages shared online were memories of their service or meeting them in Georgia. Born Oct. 1, 1924, in Plains, Carter served as a state senator and

And he sits there with a huge smile on his face knowing that the impossible has happened.
In his lifetime, he not only is not the worst president in history any more, he's not even the 2nd worst president in history. Senile Joe biden and Ovomit the Commie have taken the title from him!!!
In the 1980's, I would have sworn that we never could have had a worst president than Carter. It just wasn't physically possible. If only I had been right... Deep sigh!!!

Ask Mr Election Integrity what he thinks of the 2020 election.

It's funny - hilarious - that Democrats' list of presidents emeritus is so odious that Biden's only option upon taking office was kissing the ring of the cowardly Carter. Obama is the puppetmaster, Bill Clinton is radioactive and, er, there are no others.
The revisionists have been hard at work since 1980 when the one-termer was mercifully cut loose. Never have a decade and a presidential inauguration been more blissfully aligned as Reagan, literally in his inauguration tuxedo, announced the return of the hostages that the feckless Carter had left to stew in Iran.
Those who lived through the 70s and especially Carter's dismal term are sad to see it being repeated now but at least we can recognize all aspects.

In 2015, at 90 years of age Carter announced that, like his father, mother and three siblings, he had developed cancer and it had metastasized to his brain and liver. Now, nearly seven years later Carter is still alive. No offense Jimmy, but what has gone wrong?

I will never forget carter promised to shut down the steal mills. Union run. Jobs would be lost. But people still voted for jimmy
I don’t know who was more stupid. Carter. Or the people who opted for him. He did shut down our steal mills. So many people lost jobs and the industry was ruined. The crappie steal that was imported was horrible. Cars rusted out in 18 months time.
History is repeating itself. But instead of jobs being lost, people are losing their lives!

#4 I respectfully disagree. Jimmy Carter only seems nice. The man is saturated with evil.

He dodged a bullet. None of his poorly-constructed Habitat for Humanity homes collapsed around him.

Jimmy, (can I call you Jimmy?), I am glad you lived long enough to realize that you will not go down in history as the country's worst president.

I'd rather have Jimmy as a neighbor than any politician I know of. I would not want Trump as a neighbor BUT, as President, Jimmy had no business there and Trump was the best in at least my lifetime.

His prayers finally answered, there has finally come a President, far worse than himself.
The Iran hostage crisis pales in comparison to the debacle and abject humiliation of a nation done by Mr. Potato Head in Afghanistan.

Actually, #11, my wife was a roofing crew leader on several H for H homes. The good news is that the were built to normal building code, and not shoddy.
She always started her willing but amazingly unskilled HS and college kid "roofers" on the back of the house where their inevitable slightly crooked lines of shingles while she was training them wouldn't be noticed. By they time they got to the front side, the shingles look great. I taught her to roof. Grin.

RE #'s 11 & 19:
I worked on H4H houses several times as part of my architecture schooling, as well as part of the sweat equity required for my sister and BIL's house. In addition, my alma mater, Mississippi State has had a Habitat house build every year for the last 13 years. I'm here to tell you, these houses are absolutely NOT shoddy and are often the only way that some families can afford housing. I'm damn proud to have been associated with their construction, both as a student and as a sister of a recipient family.
Happy Birthday to Jimmy Carter and thank you for founding this organization.
