Fox News analyst Gen. Jack Keane (Ret.) ripped President Joe Biden for throwing U.S. allies in Afghanistan under the proverbial bus. Biden , he says, is not “telling the whole story” about Afghan forces and he accused the president of delivering several factually inaccurate statements about the “chaos and debacle” in the now-Taliban-controlled country during his speech yesterday. In a phone interview with Fox’s News’ Neil Cavuto on Monday, Keane took issue with the president’s claims.“I would like to point out a couple of factual errors in those remarks that deal with his defense of his decision,” said Keane. “When he’s saying that the Afghans are not willing to fight,

The Afghan army took up arms for the US because they were PAID period. Once Biden told them they were no longer getting paid they quit and the Taliban took over. Everybody likes welfare, even in Afghanistan.

It seems every time they feel they can get away with it the Dems do things to empower radical Islam. Giving Afghanistan to the Taliban, abandoning Iraq, which started ISIS, or agreeing to generous terms with Iran (a major financier to Radical Islam) which would allow them to obtain a nuclear bomb. Its like they're in a hurry to end the World. Need to make full changes in 2022.

Democrats abandoned the Vietnamese. They abandoned the Iraqis. They abandoned the Afghans. The common thread is that they have long ago abandoned America and true Americans.

Biden does what he does best, lie and deflect. He's done that for 50 years in DC. He does that well, BTW.

Thanks for the 20-20 hindsight, Gen. Keane. You revealed your Woke credentials when you called those that served in the Confederacy - "Traitors". I could care less less about what else you think, Gen. Smoothie.

Joe made this premature and reckless pullout happen for one reason, to insult Donald Trump - that was the first point in his angry, demented speech. Who looks like the organ grinder's monkey now, Joe?

Read somewhere yesterday that over 60 thousand Afghan forces have died defending their country over the last 20 years. Makes one wonder how many Taliban forces have been killed over the last 20 years. Perhaps saying the Afghan forces are unwilling to fight is incorrect. Perhaps they stopped fighting because they could no longer defend themselves. Some Afghan forces said supplies had stopped arriving in the provinces, and they could no longer defend themselves, and that is when they surrendered.
Perhaps Empty-headed Biden, and the anti-American forces running him set Afghanistan up so it would collapse in the worst way possible. This is all starting to look quite deliberate. Another way to humiliate America, and to make it lose credibility on the world stage.
Biden's not telling the whole story? Yeah, he's lying.

It's over but not how it should have ended. We should have never entered Afghanistan to begin with. The Taliban just waited out the U.S. they have beaten two armies with Toyota trucks and RPGs. Afghanistan was fought like Vietnam by not winning with no intentions of winning. There's a generation of military leaders who have grown up to 'not win'. The politicians never change they are all arm chair experts sending people to battle some to die. Democrats might hate the military like the old hippies they are but for some reason they love to start wars. Well this must be Joe Biden's 'fighting season' so carry on.

Keane is just plain making excuses for 20 years of American nation building and the results. The Taliban has no air superiority. The Afghans have helicopters and presumably pilots. The Taliban has a numerical inferiority to the Afghan security forces. The Taliban has an advantage in motivation. And Keane, like so many others, doesn't understand the Afghans are not our allies in defending and reforming their homeland; we are their allies.
Keane's analysis is laughable in the context of twenty years. Afghanistan is still Afghanistan. The US "won" its war and then stayed to nation build. We gave the Afghans an opportunity; they squandered it. It really is that simple. Leaving five years ago or five years from now, what would be the difference? A competent Afghan security force would at least have staved off this current chaos, as the government flees with suitcases of US currency.

The Afghan Army was a mercenary army. They did not fight for 'their country', because they had no concept of 'their country'. They fought for the paycheck, and perhaps, there may have been some zeal if the battle had goals which coincided with the goals of their tribe, by accident.
An Afghan National Army would first require an Afghan Nation.....which has never existed.

This guy was quizzed on Cavuto. Sorry, don't trust either of them any more than I trust Obiden and the Marxicrats.
