Authorities in Maricopa County, Arizona, announced they will replace all voting machines following a Senate-ordered audit of the county’s 2020 election results.
The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, which oversees elections in the county, issued a response to a letter sent by Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, saying the county “shares [her] concerns” that the integrity and security of the Dominion Voting Systems machines and ballots might have been compromised during the audit.(snip)After the announcement from Maricopa County, several Republicans praised the move to do away with the machines—but not for the reasons offered by Hobbs or the county officials.
“No more machines,” wrote Republican state Sen. Wendy Rogers

Repubs say 'no more machines', which sounds like a really good idea.
Dems say 'replace the machines'. I would bet money that they want more Dominion Voter Fraud Machines. They'll probably order the new "Extra Fraud Long Distance" versions which can change ALL the votes at the push of a button in Beijing of DC, where ever the Puppet Masters happen to be vacationing.

New machines won't solve the problem of fraud if the same people are responsible for controlling them. Each and every voter should get a print out or something like that shows who and what they voted for.

The AUDIT "compromised" the machines? That's rich.

And the software? Why not strict paper ballots? Keep it simple.

It will be MUCH harder to cheat next election since the Republicans have caught-on to the scheme.
I'm hopeful they will ensure there are thousands of people reviewing every step in the process next election, and no one leaves any room simply because some democrat said they'd stop for the evening, only to continue counting without any other observers around.
That alone, knowing they were counting without any of the protocols in place, should invalidate any votes counted during those hours of the day.

So, as I understand it, the supervised auditors touched the voting machines, and now they have an incurable case of cooties. So they're going to replace them rather than decontaminate the machines with cooties spray.
It sounds to me like, they recognize that after this audit the current fraud methodology will be common knowledge, so they're out shopping for fraud machines 2.0.

Sorry #1/doc....voting machines are here to stay. And there are no secret cabals logging into voting machines from China,Germany, or the dark side of the moon changing votes. Just another Internet conspiracy.
If you are concerned about any voting fraud or irregularities then I’d suggest you volunteer to be a poll worker in the next elections in your area/state. Don’t expect someone else to do it. As the old saying went “step up or step off”.

If this were *really* an issue, the machine memory can be wiped, modules replaced, drives replaced, etc. The programming is the issue, as we all know. This is nothing but a Democrap hack pandering to a bunch of stupid people and reporters that eat this bilge up. Some enterprising reporter should ask this dimwit why SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) was found on these Dominion machines nationwide, just to see if she has a grasp of the issue. When she stands there with her flytrap hanging open, explain that SSMS makes it child's play to both alter databases and build queries and functions that can manipulate existing data in any way. It also makes it easy to find those functions if one knows what to look for.
A few states who had IT people that knew what to look for specifically banned SSMS from the software installation on the machines. It was found there anyway.
Get rid of the machines, and don't replace them. The programming will never be secured.

As a polling Commishioner in Charge, in a state that requires voter ID, I'm concerned because I understand our Republican (?) Sec. of State is going to replace our voting machines with Dominions. It won't matter if you check a person's ID, and then the machine changes the vote. Unless each machine gave you a printout, like a gas pump, you'd never know how you voted. And that's only if the printout and the cast vote are guaranteed to be the same, somehow.

A complete audit would expose how the machines were compromised earlier and thereby compromised the election. But the last I heard, Maricopa County was still refusing to provide essential information to permit such an audit.

Remember, the Dominion machines/tabulators worked exactly as they were designed...to ALLOW VOTE FRAUD!
