Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Black Lives Matter have been silent following the shooting death of a young boy in Queens who was just three days away from his 11th birthday. On Saturday, Queens came to a standstill after Justin Wallace, 10, was tragically killed by a gunman who opened fire at his aunt’s home in Far Rockaway around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, police and the New York Post reported.

THORNTON, Colo. — A carousel horse at a park has been removed after the city was made aware of it's insensitive imagery. Over the weekend, M.J. Jimenez was riding the park's carousel with her 8-year-old niece. That's when she noticed the horse in front of her. "My mouth dropped open when I realize it was a Native American head in a saddle bag," said Jimenez of the carousel. The carousel was made in the 1920s.
