President Joe Biden has drawn criticism for receiving Communion at Mass as a politician who promotes policies explicitly opposed to Catholic teaching.Traditional Catholic scholars warn that the president is causing great scandal by receiving Holy Communion, while progressive theologians protest that Church teaching is open to interpretation and say that abortion should not be a litmus test for Communion. The president has spoken about his Catholicism through his entire political career, referring to his faith as a source of solace during turbulent times in his life. Biden exhibits many outward signs of his Catholicism: he frequently goes to mass, has met with Pope Francis,

Communion is in remembrance of Jesus's sacrifice. The Catholic Church puts restrictions on who can receive it, which is their right. If communion really has meaning to Biden, he would either comply with his Church's rules or go to a church that lets individuals decide for themselves.

Xiden might attend Mass, but he's not there. Before the election, he called a psalmist a "palmist." The psalms are read during EVERY liturgical service. How did he make this mistake?
He's too busy playing with his cell phone during Mass or contemplating whose hair he's going to sniff.

Back in the 1960's, Bishop Rummel of New Orleans decreed that the Catholic schools would be desegregated. That didn't sit well with some and one of them was Leander Perez who was the judge of Plaquemine Parish. He opposed Bishop Rummel. The bishop excommunicated him and the schools were desegregated. If only we had a Bishop Rummel now.

Ezekiel 33:9 But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.
No better warning than to excommunicate.

So my mom was ex-communicated in the 1970's for a divorce she probably did not want; yet, believing in abortion and wanting it available doesn't seem to matter to the Catholic leadership?

Heck, with the Pope that is there now, there's a better chance that Biden and Pelosi will be sainted before they are excluded from the Sacraments.

Not unlike wearing a thin mask to prevent covid, it would be a useless exercise to give him communion.
Just for show.

Communion in the Catholic Church is the receiving of the very Body and Blood of Christ Himself. Look up Eucharistic miracles. There is today the Church and the ape of the Church that Bishop Fulton Sheen spoke of, as represented by prissy Jimmy Martin, the African Queen Wilton Gregory and the so called female theologian in this article.

The Catholic Church had no problem denying the Eucharist to millions of us during the “pandemic,” along with every other sacrament. That they are even debating about Joe Biden, or any other baby-butchering politician, speaks volumes of about the state of the Catholic Church today.

A couple of goofy posters here. Nobody gets excommunicated for being divorced. And the Church, despite having to close its buildings by government order, did not deny the sacraments. Numerous parishes had outdoor communion services after televising the Mass. Confession was available one on one in safe manner with many priests and the Sacrament of the Sick was administered to many. No reason for gratuitous criticism of the Church.
That being said, Biden is a scandal not only to catholics but to every Christian. He should never be given Communion until he repents of his many sins.

Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre was officially excommunicated around 1988 for ordaining priests into the priesthood. Lefebvre was a "schismatic" for his support for the Latin Mass and refusal to accept the Novus Ordo. But otherwise, he did not abandon the Church's teachings on morality.
But Xiden and other "Catholics" in Congress think it is fine and dandy to kill pre-born persons, and they don't get excommunicated.
About Catholic teaching:
"Canon 915 is a 'sacramental law' that talks about the Eucharist and how not to suffer scandal; it is not a penal law. There are four parts to canon 915 that must be satisfied: 1) The sin must be obstinate; 2) the person in question must persist in the sin; 3) the person in question must be a 'manifest' (that is 'public') sinner; and, 4) it must be a grave sin. When all requirements are met, the Bishop, bound by canon 915 to protect the integrity of the Eucharist, must give the public notification to his priests and deacons not to allow sacrilegious Communions, and to not cause scandal to the people. The Bishop here is not putting 'sanction' on the persons in question; they have, in fact, fallen under the canon 915 sacramental prohibition themselves."
Abortion is a grave sin. Period. It is the murder of an innocent human being. Xiden persists in his public support of abortion. He is scandalizing the entire world, especially Christians, in his public support of abortion. Why do the bishops even hesitate do anything about him?
"The floor of Hell is paved with the skulls of bishops and priests." --often attributed to St. John Chrysostom

Judas received Communion; it does not harm the mission of the Lord. Who it harms, is the person receiving in bad faith. Not granting Biden communion would be a mercy to him in the long run that faces him and all of us.

Joe Biden cannot be Catholic and publicly support abortion and gay marriage. Due to his public proclamations he has effectively excommunicated himself. Those giving him communion may say "this is between him and the Lord" but what they are actually saying is they are not willing to enforce the law of the Church.
Biden only uses his Catholicism to try to bolster his bona fides with the "moderates" of the Democrat Party who have yet to figure out that their faith (Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, etc) will be nullified by the Democrats if they have their way.

#13, wrong. Jesus was clear about the issue of scandal. When someone lives in manifest sin, they send a message to others that their sin is okay. And it causes them to sin as well. If you are okay with Xiden receiving Holy Communion, then you must be okay with parents taking drugs and scandalizing their children. Do you think for one minute these children will lead a drug-free life? The odds are against that. They will do drugs as well. What do you think happened to Hunter Biden?
Jesus chased out money changers from the Temple. They were turning the House of God into a den of thieves. If Jesus would have allowed this activity, he would have sent the message to other worshippers that it is acceptable to desecrate God's house.
Jesus on scandalizing others: "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."--Matthew 18:6

Considering the man rules like the worst of the crookedest of popes, no - he should not receive communion.

Bai-Den Zhou has the support of theologians. Unfortunately the theologians have no Theo (no God) and no logos (reason). They are empty vessels with no content. They are adrift on an ocean of ignorance, with no sail and no rudder. Having not saved themselves, they cannot save anyone else either. Read the Gospels and you will learn that false prophets were predicted long ago. They are with us now, and have the most amazing houses, cars, and staffs. They take in millions of dollars, while helping the faithful find the path which leads to destruction.
The worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.
Do not be deceived. If the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the Earth?
Not much.
