An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Thursday found that a majority of Americans oppose woke corporations influencing everyday life.
The poll asked registered voters if they support or oppose American companies using their public role, position, or events to influence political, cultural, or social change. The findings show that over half (58 percent) oppose any type of corporation using its power to influence any type of political, cultural, or social change across the country. They also show that 35 percent did support the efforts by woke corporations, while seven percent were unsure how to answer.
The survey also asked, specifically, whether the voter supports or opposes “professional sports teams

The problem is that that 35% of butt-hurt lie-berals are very loud and obnoxious and threatening. And, as the old saying goes, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease".
By our nature, conservatives are polite. We were raised to say "please" and not threaten people who aren't threatening us.
I really hate to feel this way, but I think it may be getting very close to the point that we are going to have to start getting down in the gutter as much as the lie-berals if we want to remind these woke corporations that there are many more of us out there!!!

So don't buy their products or services!
This is the way to "explain" to these obnoxious racists and commies that we don't like their politics.

The left does not care what Americans oppose. The left intends to use corporations to impose their agenda by compulsion. Americans will have to comply, or be denied access to goods and services. The left is active everywhere, including new efforts to take over the Boards of Directors of corporations, such as the current proxy fight to take over Exxon. We are being silenced by corporations denying access to youtube, twitter, and other corporate services. We have a police state. All your mail is easily read by Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo. The FBI can access anything with a national security letter that requires no warrant from a judge. Every American is being fingerprinted and mug shots taken to obtain professional licenses, drivers licenses, or most jobs. The virus has allowed the left to take over every aspect of the economy, and our lives. The devices we use allow the left to track us, and monitor every move we make. The new PPP loan giveaways were obtained by mostly from people working on their computers from home. This has taught the government that they can audit you from anywhere, including DC, merely by requiring you to upload all your receipts and invoices, and transmitting them to IRS headquarters. You cannot drive your car anywhere without the license plate being read all over town and being placed in a timestamped database. We have lost all our freedoms.

I'm with #2. Stop buying products or using their services. I read somewhere that Delta is starting to feel the pain of people booking with other airlines. Notice that loud mouth CEO of Delta is lying low. I am using other services to avoid as much as I can from COSTCO, WALMART, Amazon, Home Depot. Before, I would gladly use their company for my many purchases. Now, I avoid them like the plague. Can anyone point me in the direction to get a full list of this clowns. I want to make sure that I do not help them by buying their products.

#5, Has his finger on the pulse of the country right now. Frankly, I do not see it changing for the better anytime soon. We just do not have enough fighters who will confront this dangerous and reckless power grab by the democrats. If Republicans will not stand up now, when will they? The country is spiraling down the drain. We all know it because we watch the audacity of the left as they continue to consolidate their power over every aspect of our lives. We have out of control, looting and rioting with their blessing. We also have the worst humanitarian crisis and breach of our sovereignty in our history on our Southern border once again due to the enabling of democrats. Our economy is tanking because of their outrageous policies. Covid is kept going to insure our submission. So many other troubling policies are being enacted and Americans are left out to dry by an evil anti-American cabal and a cowardly Republican Party that is afraid of its shadow. Now we are witnessing the marriage of corporate America and our government and still no outcry by Republicans. We are being fast tracked to replicate communist China. Democrats are power mad totalitarians who will in a heartbeat be as oppressive as Xi Jinping. When government and corporations unite complete control of the population is the goal. Think it can’t happen here? Think again.

Woke-ism by a corporation lets them assert that I am a racist and they don't even know anything about me. True racism... making assumptions about an individual based on physical appearance. I'm not a racist, but woke corporations are racist.

This is how liberals plan on destroying the Country. If they destroy corporations, they are half way there. Home Depot surprises me. The CEO always spoke highly of Trump. I don't get it.

Corporations and professional sports were two areas that liberals had not been able to penetrate mainly due to the fact that it was not in their best interests to follow liberal doctrine. It still isn’t. Suddenly they’ve decided to capitulate to the Party of 28% corporate tax rates, make huge donations to Marxist domestic terrorists, and take advice from Stacey Abrams. Maybe they need to watch some Trump rally videos. These folks are not being persuaded that election integrity laws are racist and evil. Abrams threw her own race under the bus and lost them $100 million in revenue. MLB fell on their face and lost a huge majority of fans. And no one wants to take a commercial flight when the pilots are affirmative action trainees. There is no magic to being a CEO. They’re just as tone deaf and stupid as anyone else. They need to rethink this one.

#9, I think care needs to be taken in talking about Home Depot. They have not jumped onto the bandwagon that these other corporations have but do have a company statement. I think it is a fair one.
Yesterday, I read a headline that Brett Favre wants to just watch football without the politics. That is how I am feeling about companies and corporations. Just sell your service or product and leave politics out of it. I am buying your service or product not your political stances.

You don’t have to boycott all of them. Target one or two of them and hurt them bad. This sets an example and the message will get out that we mean business. For now Coke, MLB and Delta should be our targets. Don’t buy or use their products. They need to learn their job is to make and sell a quality product an nothing more. Do your job and shut up.

Whatever group is better organized wins no matter what the poll says. This is why they organize the community. Someone breaks your door down kills your family; overwhelmingly most believe in the death penalty for the pepetrators. How many states prohibit it?

There have been varying degrees of support for the fiction of "voter repression". Home Depot just made some vague statement about how all 'eligible' voters should have access to vote, and Delta and Coca Cola, among others, declined to sign the 'big letter' - choosing instead to say they support eligible voters, but avoiding statements about the Georgia law. Maybe they took the advice given them, and "...read the damn law...", or maybe they are feeling the pushback and pulling back a little. The latter, I think.

If no ID is required to vote, then no ID should be required to buy beer, guns, airline tickets, prescription medicine, get loans, withdraw money from checking accounts, or anything else. Don't those things ''suppress'' minorities too?
I'd like to see some brave politician say those things on the floor of the House/Senate, but is there anyone brave enough?

#12 is right. Democrats have effectively used Alinsky’s RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
Conservatives should do the same. Coke should be the primary target. Hit everyone of their produces,. MLB can done easily as a second target.
Effective boycotts of these two businesses will wake up other woke companies.
Coke products: Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Barq’s, Schweppes, Powerade, Dasani, Minute Maid, Gold Peak Tea

A better word for woke corporations is "scared." Their woke blubbering is an attempt to placate blacks and somehow avoid the damage they can do and do. They are not the biggest spenders in the world either and are accomplished shoplifters and dine and dashers.
However, this push for "flexible" voting is not a black thing, it's a democrat thing. Nobody wants to go through another election like 2020 where the real winner is sent home and the doddering old fool who campaigned from his basement can cheat enough to "win." Everybody is suffering from that cheating and the resulting lawlessness is destroying the country.
These corporations acted stupidly and are now losing millions of customers and dollars. That coke CEO looks like he needed a laxative three days ago. They will be on the boycott list for years just as the NFL has been. I finally broke my addiction to WalMart yesterday and plan to sit back and watch them crumble. It will be worth paying higher prices elsewhere to uphold my principles.

Here's a poll for you:
Most politicians, media and corporate CEOs don't give a fig whether we oppose their leftist agenda or embrace it....if they have the power to impose their will on us, they will do just that.

Liberals tend to live in this imaginary utopian fantasy world taught to them by "educators" that would be reality if only the conservatives were not in the way. When/if they were fully in charge we would be exactly like Communist China, Soviet Union or Venezuela and, unless they were the rich elite, would wonder why they were locked up or disappear for saying the wrong thing. You know, the boiled frog story. This will probably happen if the Media succeeds with their lies.

Remember "shut up and sing"? Ditto for all businesses....just shut up (about politics) and do your job! I'm avoiding products and services and finding I can do without a lot of things! I do hope Lowe's and our local Food City stays out of the foray! That's about the only two businesses I regularly visit.

I know you are all shocked to discover... real Americans think businesses should stay out of the politicalizing of customers' support for their products... I for one have put their companies on my ... do not buy list...haven't found an alternative soda... yet... but I'm trying new products to find one I can enjoy..and as for this poll... I suspect it's been tweaked to reflect their narrative... I suspect it's higher than 58 percent against their muddling in OUR shopping habits...

Conservatives fail to grasp what Leftists/Democrats (BIRM) know in their bones: WORDS SPEAK LOUDER THAN ACTIONS. A multinational corporation feels little pain when a cohort of a cohort (the proportion of conservatives who will actually bother to boycott over anti-conservative political interference) does not purchase its product. And to the extent it does feel pain, it's easy to attribute it to non-political factors (the WuFlu is an all-purpose excuse for poor financial performance). OTOH a bunch of screaming in public alarms them; they can hear it, it cannot be attributed to the WuFlu, and it just might cause others to actually do things that will hurt the corporation. You want to alter Delta/United/MLB's behavior? Write and send letters to the CEO. Remind Coca-Cola that latte liberals don't drink sugary carbonated water, but conservatives do. Remind Delta and United that Frontier and Southwest are already eating a lot of their lunch, and we are still hungry. Post signs denouncing corporations that undermine fair, secure elections. Write your congresscritters demanding hearings about election interference by multinational corporations. BE HEARD. And have a Coke. Nothing refreshes like a good icy Cola while its CEO grovels in apology for offending Middle America.

Oh, and write your financial fund managers (heck, write those you don't patronize; they never check) demanding they divest from corporations that threaten your financial security by inviting boycotts due to their interference with politics. You divesting from Home Depot won't matter. CALPERS divesting from Home Depot will. Merill-Lynch calling Home Depot and telling them to knock it off before they unload HD and buy Lowe's will.

Rather than asking fund managers to divest, ask the fund managers to vote against those directors who support the wokeness. We need to identify the directors and start putting the heat on them for tolerating this behavior.

Again, only 58%? Do the other 42% thinks it's just fine that a private company pokes it's nose into politics? These companies exist I assume to make a profit. If alienating 58% of your possible customer base is a good business model, then perhaps these CEO'S's would like to buy a bridge in Brooklyn, or some ocean front property in Kansas.

I don't particularly appreciate this kind of wokeness. What I appreciate and love dearly is a United States of America, as founded. Woke lefty corporations don't belong here. Just corporations which desire to make America great again as a civil right-minded society and keep it there.
