Donald Trump Jr. has some advice for the Republican Party as another major league sports organization sprints onto the political field of play: “Grow some balls.” The Republican’s blunt statement comes in the wake of Major League Baseball’s decision to pull the 2021 All-Star Game and draft out of Atlanta in response to Georgia’s newly passed election legislation. Republicans in Congress should immediately move to repeal the @MLB’s anti-trust exemption,” former President Trump’s son wrote Friday. “Grow some balls and fight fire with fire.” MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred sided with liberal politicians who claim SB 202 is an unconscionable erosion of voting rights

I sure hope that the stadium in Atlanta that was going to host the game sues the MLB for many, many millions of dollars for breach of contract!!!!

Why would MLB agree to a "shakedown"???
Voter Integrity legislature is to allow all LEGAL persons to vote, by eliminating fraud and breaking existing laws which each STATE may legislate....
Let them play ball, and leave politics OUT of our National Pastime!

That's 80 million Trump/Republican voters that will never spend another G.D. nickel with MLB.

Flash! MLB, following the NBA’s China gambit, to fund campaign awakening baseball in the Peoples’ Democracy. Will support excursions of a million Chinese to America to view the People’s Pastime. Some of these may return to China.

Orwellian. Corporate America trying to run the country. It’s all about money. These CEOs have sold their souls to the devil himself!

Integrity of voting is far more important than MLB.

My 89 y.o. mother loves the MN Twins. However, she can no longer watch them. They are not broadcast over the air. Fox Sports North has ended its broadcasting on all platforms except ATT (which costs minimum of $80/mo) and Comcast ($100+/mo). You can subscribe to MLB directly, but you cannot watch a live game. You cannot listen to it on your internet speaker device because MLB owns "exclusive" rights. The MLB is all about making money and doesn't care about its fans. Indeed, it is a big corporate monopoly that should be broken up or dissolved. What a shame!

I would recommend a more productive approach, and that would be to send every CEO a copy of the integrity law and ask them to advise what part they find offensive.
Deliver it by return receipt, and request a formal reply in writing.
Maybe ask Board of Directors too.
Then, ask if they'd prefer ballots mailed out to dead people, or those who've moved?
That a chain of custody for ballot boxes be established to ensure no one, from any side of the political aisle, has the opportunity to disenfranchise anyone else's vote.
We have rules, and all of those corporations follow SEC, FCC, and a host of other rules. Do they think they should just be able to not follow them, change them at the last minute?

MLB isn't worth it anymore. I'm better off going to a minor league game. The product is better (the kids are hungry and will do anything to get to the Show or the majors), it's cheaper and it's a more family friendly environment. Go Woke, Go Broke.

To honor the “woke” baseball aficionados, I propose that the All Star Game be played without balls.

Ball-growing takes a much longer time than the GOP has to exist. Being the peanut gallery section of the Uniparty is not the place to start.
