The Republican National Committee is insisting it has a right to use former President Donald Trump’s name and likeness for fundraising, following a cease and desist letter from the former commander in chief.Last Friday, Trump sent a letter to the RNC and other Republican organizations telling them to “immediately cease and desist the unauthorized use of President Donald J. Trump’s name, image, and/or likeness in all fundraising, persuasion, and/or issue speech.”RNC chief counsel Justin Riemer replied in a letter to Team Trump that the GOP “has every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core,

Knock yourselves out, it won't do you any good. The jig is up, RINOs, and we've got your number.

And every time they send me another "survey" form using President Trump's name soliciting a donation I'll send another check to his Save America PAC.

The short article doesn't add much to what we already know. PDT is clearly focused on removing the RINOs that always have and always will subvert his mission to bring America to her full glory, as established in the Constitution. While I recognize that the structure of the RNC's infrastructure is a major factor in the mechanics of elections state-by-state, it often helps candidates who work against our ideology.
PDT has clearly drawn a line. How it plays out is anyone's guess, but he has thrown down the gauntlet. Ronna? What say you?

Trump is unlikely to win the legal argument, but he is likely to win the argument with the public. The RNC says they do not take sides in the primaries, then help the nominated person get elected. That is not working, as the primary is where the candidate is chosen. The primary is an obtuse process that not anybody understands how we came up with these persons. A candidate appears. Usually the one funded by a wealthy person, or set of special interests. The people really have little to say about who is running their government. The issue is too important to be left to the people, and the politicians and special interests don't intend to allow it.

The leadership of the party is as deceitful and self-serving as are the democrats. Its hard to say but its the truth. This nasty defiance by the RNC will not set well with Trump. I suspect, in the end, no matter how we try, the globalist elites will not be extracted soon enough to save the country. If we retake the House in 2022, we don’t have a courageous band to deny wimp Kevin the SOTH. He will have like-minded deputies. Please correct me and school me if I am wrong.

The RNC could put my mother's name on their literature and even then I wouldn't give them a penny.

You sowed the wind RNC, now don't be surprised or shocked when Karma comes a calling. For I can pretty much guarantee that she will. She has really sharp teeth and claws, just like a kitten does and she is going to be ready to party down on your foolish heads.

I don’t believe they can use anyone’s name without that person’s permission, particularly if it is used in any way that could mislead a potential donor. In this case, I believe it would depend upon how they are using his name. He has been the “draw” for funds and now he has his own PAC going. If he doesn’t want donors confused about what they are donating to, it should be made very clear.
We have never donated to the RNC.

The Republi-Can't National Committee called me, and this sweet Southern Baptist lady cussed them out.
They sent me a fund raiser request, and got back a letter informing them in no uncertain terms to shove their request where the sun doesn't shine.
Strange how good both of those actions felt!!!

RNC supports RINO's. I no longer support the RNC. I will only support MAGA candidates endorsed by President Trump.

I had mixed feelings about Trump declaring that he wasn't starting a new party but remained head of the GOP. Being leader of the party, though, makes his name fair game for the party to use for advertising.
The instant it starts using his name to campaign against him ends that, though.
