A 10-year-old California girl is set to graduate from college this spring. “I just enjoy learning,” she said. “There’s so many interesting things out there.” Alisa Perales, who learned how to read at 2 years old and began doing algebra at the age of five, started taking classes at Crafton Hills College — a community college in Yucaipa, California — when she was just 8 years old, according to a report by ABC7 WWSB. “It’s very fun to me,” Perales told the outlet. “It’s almost as fun as playing outside or riding a bike or doing whatever. I just enjoy learning. There’s so many interesting things out there.”

President Trump on Wednesday found a way around an effort by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who tried to block one of his nominees for a federal prosecutor role in New York.
Trump announced his appointment of Jay Clayton as interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, which would circumvent the Senate confirmation process that Schumer intended to block.
“I am pleased to announce that Jay Clayton will serve as the Interim United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. During my First Term, Jay served with great distinction as the Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and earned the respect of everyone," Trump said.

Canadian media reported this week that immigration attorneys and LGBTQQIAAP2S+ activists have noticed a significant spike in the number of requests for information from Americans identifying as transgender seeking to move to Canada, claiming persecution under the administration of President Donald Trump.
The Globe and Mail quoted multiple Canadian lawyers on Tuesday who said they were “overwhelmed” by the number of calls from alarmed transgender Americans seeking a way to claim political asylum in Canada. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced on Wednesday that he intended to stop two of President Donald Trump’s nominees for U.S. attorney positions in New York.

Wow!! I'm impressed!! My first year in college, our friends group included a 15-year-old pre-med student who had "CLEP'd" out of so many classes that he was an academic junior who was set to graduate shortly after his 16th birthday. Talking to him wasn't like talking to a 15-year-old, it was like talking to an adult in a small body. So long as her parents aren't pushing her beyond her limits, and it sounds like they are not, she'll be fine.
