The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has saved U.S. taxpayers roughly $150 billion, according to the latest update. DOGE updated its website again this week with the latest figures on massive savings for the American people. According to this update, U.S. taxpayer savings now reach $150 billion — up from $140 billion in the last update. That results in a savings of $931.68 per taxpayer. (X Video) The DOGE website makes it clear that the $150 billion in savings is a “combination of asset sales, contract/lease cancellations and renegotiations, fraud and improper payment deletion, grant cancellations, interest savings, programmatic changes, regulatory savings, and workforce reductions.”

DOGE has uncovered a lot of corruption, government waste, fraud, and dereliction of duty to do its proper duty to guard against such things. That is only a small part of the iceberg which can be seen! To quote the Great President Ronald Reagan: “In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people."

Slightly OT but this recent agreement between the IRS and SSA to compare SSNs could have been done a couple of decades ago if there was a will by either the agency of the Administration in power. It's called the Computer Matching Agreement of 1988. A Computer Matching Agreement (CMA) is a written agreement required by the Privacy Act of 1974 for federal agencies to disclose records for use in computer matching programs, according to the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It outlines the terms, conditions, and safeguards for sharing data between agencies when their automated systems of records are compared, says the Department of Defense. CMAs are essential for verifying eligibility for federal benefits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and recouping payments, among other purposes.

President Donald Trump’s Department of Education (DOE) on Friday announced that it has begun the process of cutting federal K-12 funding to Maine, as the Democrat-run state continues to allow transgender-identifying males on female sports teams. DOE is also referring its Title IX investigation of the state to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for “further enforcement action,” the department said. DOE said its actions are a “direct result” of the Maine Department of Education’s (MDOE) continued refusal to comply with Title IX, which prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities receiving federal funding.

Letitia James has “Daddy issues”. The New York State Attorney General who hounded President Trump appears to have been acting out a vendetta against her own father. No rational explanation accounts for her reckless attacks on Trump, especially given her own checkered history of possibly illegal real estate transactions. James’s father, Robert James, was born in South Carolina in 1916. He married Letitia’s mother, Nellie, and set out to build a future in New York City. They had eight children together, including Letitia. For many years, the sprawling family shared just 1,100 square feet of living space in a 2-bedroom 2-bath rental apartment at 44 Butler Place in Brooklyn.
