A Bush-appointed federal judge just handed Maine's radical leftist government a major victory in its crusade to destroy women's sports. U.S. District Judge John A. Woodcock ordered the Trump administration to unfreeze federal education funding that was withheld after the state brazenly defied Trump’s executive order protecting women's sports from the radical transgender agenda. Make no mistake about it, this is a direct challenge to President Trump's efforts to preserve fair competition and protect female athletes. Despite leftist U.S. District Judge James Boasberg finding probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt of court on Wednesday for violating his previous order, Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz believes Boasberg should be the one held in contempt instead “for issuing such a vague order.”
Boasberg attempted to block the administration from using the Alien Enemies Act for deporting Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members, but Boasberg never issued a binding order, Dershowitz explained.
“He issues an order first orally, in which he talks about bringing the planes back. You can't just bring planes back. That's not easy. That might not be safe.
President Trump on Wednesday found a way around an effort by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who tried to block one of his nominees for a federal prosecutor role in New York.
Trump announced his appointment of Jay Clayton as interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, which would circumvent the Senate confirmation process that Schumer intended to block.
“I am pleased to announce that Jay Clayton will serve as the Interim United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. During my First Term, Jay served with great distinction as the Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and earned the respect of everyone," Trump said.

The ordeal started around 11:30 pm on Monday in Jackson, where 38-year-old Justin Couch’s 15-year-old son was awoken by the sound of his window shattering, as exclusively reported by the Daily Mail.
The boy then ran to Couch’s room to wake him up and alert him to what had happened. Couch immediately jumped into action.

Questions are now being raised about a foreclosure sale in December 2008 that involved James as a purchaser. Documents show her name appearing on the “Final Foreclosure Accounting” for the purchase of a single-family home at 21 Peters Street in Martinsville, Virginia.
Two other names appear on the same document as additional purchasers, Johnsie Finney and Philip Finney. Interestingly, James’s first named is misspelled as “Letitua.” One has to wonder whether this misspelling was intended to make the transaction harder to track.

Embattled New York Attorney General Letitia James is hitting up supporters for big bucks just days after the Trump administration accused her of alleged fraud involving several homes she owns.
The money bid is in the form of an invitation to an event on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. calling for contributions starting at $500 and climbing to an eye-popping $18,000, the maximum allowed by New York law, in support of her 2026 re-election bid.
