A new Arizona middle school for “queer” children opening this summer will be funded by taxpayers.
The Queer Blended Learning Center, which will launch in downtown Phoenix in August, will be funded by Arizona’s education vouchers. The school is a project of One•n•ten, an LGBT youth activist nonprofit, which will house the school at its Phoenix headquarters.
Students do not have to identify as LGBT to enroll.
One•n•ten says its mission is “to serve LGBTQ youth and young adults ages 11-24” and “enhance their lives by providing empowering social and service programs that promote

Do other faith based schools get voucher treatment? School choice across the board and across the state?
Competition for education might not be bad.

Let's mix confused 11 year olds with 20something year old homosexuals... Swell idea. I call it recruitment.

No chance of scandal, sexual grooming, improper relationships, or abuse in this hormone-boiling scenario!

Presuming that vouchers are available for faith-based schools, I see no way out from this. Parents are either free to choose where they 'spend' their vouchers or not.. Our job is to drive the alphabet crowd back into the closet with shame so that they have less public visibility and less opportunity to groom children. But ultimately it is up to parents to do their job.

Is a "Normal" school being offered for those students who would simply like to get an education?

If you want to see a school where bullying is a problem, wait until they perform this experiment. Mind you, it's not the gay boys that are the problem. It's the lesbian girls. They are vicious towards each other to the point of extreme violence. Let them go ahead and do this. The outcome will be interesting to watch.

Interesting. A certain word in the headline cannot be put in a post.
A school only for LGBTQ regardless of what they say. Is that even legal? Not very inclusive. Or diverse. Equality? It's only for LGBTQ, and it's paid for by the government. DEI is hypocritical. They want preferential treatment. They don't want rules to apply to them. How long before they are hit with scandals? That school will become symbolic of the entire LGBTQ movement and under constant scrutiny.

I am all for school choice and options for kids and families. However, staying in protective little LGBTQ enclaves does no favors to these kids who need to go into the real world some day. Unless these kids will be living in sheltered gay town with gay jobs interacting with only gay people; they are in for a very sad life.

I can only imagine how many different types of gender-specific restrooms that school will have on offer.

If LGBTQ advocates would teach being a good , smart person over "living your true self" and that not everything revolves around your sexual identity (nobody cares); the kids/students would be much better off!

If you support school choice don’t complain about the choices others make.

It's a Queer Middle School but a student does not have to identify as LGBTQ to attend? Liberal logic doesn't make sense in most cases but then most applications of tax money do not make sense because they don't have to.

Given the top synonym for ,the "Q****" word in the title is "odd," I believe the name of the middle school is appropriate; however, mission “to serve LGBTQ youth and young adults ages 11-24” is anything but appropriate. That a 24 year old can be considered a middle school student is not only "odd" but criminal.
