Consumer borrowing accelerated by far more than expected in September, as American households dealt with rising prices by swiping their credit cards and taking out more loans.
Total consumer credit increased $29 billion, up from a $13.8 billion gain in August, according to data released by the Federal Reserve Friday.
Economists had been expecting a $15.5 billion gain, according to Econoday.
That’s a monthly gain of 0.7 percent, well above the decade average of 0.4 percent. Compared with a year ago, consumer debt is up 4.9 percent.
Consumer prices rose 0.4 percent in September and were up 5.4 percent compared with the prior September.

A 15-year-old girl who reported to school officials and the police in Charlotte, North Carolina, that she was sexually assaulted by a boy in the girl’s bathroom has been suspended, according to media reports.
Following a 45-minute interview with the victim, who said the boy put his hands down her pants and under her shirt, the police charged the boy with two counts of sexual battery. But school officials decided to suspend the girl for “false reporting.”
The Daily Beast and the local Fox News affiliate reported on the development, both refraining from using the name of the girl or her mother, who spoke to the media about her daughter’s experience.

The Summit caught a fascinating story out of Italy: the Italian Higher Institute of Health decided it had miscounted COVID deaths. Instead of looking at people who died with COVID, as it once did, it looked only at people who died from COVID — leading to a 97% decrease in Italy's COVID death count. So far, the CDC shows no signs of following suit.
According to The Summit:
The Italian Higher Institute of Health has drastically reduced the country's official COVID death toll number by over 97 per cent after changing the definition of a fatality to someone who died from COVID rather than with COVID.

What happened to Donald Trump in 2016 and beyond dwarfed Watergate. Most of the media not only didn't care about the corruption of the Democrats, but were also major participants in seeking to destroy a candidate, and later president, they didn't like.
Special counsel John Durham has started to hit paydirt with three arrests so far, the tip of the iceberg, and the story is essentially buried because the media don't care, and they don't want the public to know the truth. If the public learns the truth, they will see how dishonest, corrupt, and dangerous the media are.

Americans are having fewer babies than ever before, or at least since records were kept starting in the 1930s. Last year, the number of deaths exceeded that of births in 25 states — up from just five the year before. The marriage rate is at an all-time low — 6.5 marriages per 1,000 people. Millennials are the first generation in which a majority are unmarried. They are also, ironically, more likely to live with their parents as adults than any previous generation, according to the nonpartisan Pew Research Center. Many of America's large, progressive, secular metropolises are increasingly childless.

In a soon-to-be-released report, called “TCF Timeline - The 2020 General Election in Detroit,” from Michigan Citizens for Election Integrity, author Phillip O’Halloran meticulously details the disturbing events at the absentee voter counting boards at the TCF Center in Detroit during the 2020 election, which can only be characterized as 'fraud.'
It's the story of a whistleblower, Jessy Jacob, who worked in ballot-counting and was appalled at what she saw. Her story briefly was told in some of the press but not truly heard by the public given the pushback by mainstream media which claimed there was no fraud at all.

Dozens of industry groups warned President Biden that his vaccine mandate would intensify rampant supply chain bottlenecks.
On Thursday, the Biden administration revealed its COVID-19 vaccine and testing mandate for employees at businesses with 100 or more workers. Noncompliant companies may be fined roughly $14,000 per violation.
In their open letter to President Biden, the industry groups — which included the American Trucking Associations, National Private Truck Council, and Truckload Carriers Association — predicted that trucking companies may lose nearly four in ten drivers due to the mandate:

MSNBC host Joy Reid and frequent guest Michael Eric Dyson faced backlash online late on Thursday evening after a video clip went viral from Reid’s show that was widely panned as blatantly racist.
Dyson purportedly made the remarks about Virginia Lieutenant Governor-elect Winsome Sears, a Republican, who won her election on Tuesday night as Republicans dominated across the state.
Dyson said:
The problem is here they want, they want white supremacy by ventriloquist effect. There is a black mouth moving, but a white idea through the, running on the runway of the tongue of a figure who justifies and legitimates the white supremacist practices.

Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration is reportedly gathering data on an oil pipeline in Michigan to determine if shutting it down would further increase fuel prices in the region.
“Revoking the permits for the [Line 5] pipeline that delivers oil from western Canada across Wisconsin, the Great Lakes and Michigan and into Ontario, would please environmentalists who have urged the White House to block fossil fuel infrastructure, but it would aggravate a rift with Canada and could exacerbate a spike in energy prices that Republicans are already using as a political weapon,” Politico Pro reported.

Bank of America is warning that gas prices could go significantly higher than they currently are as Americans are currently paying approximately $3.41 per gallon across the U.S. for regular and just over $4 per gallon for premium.
“Bank of America is now predicting that Brent crude oil, which drives gas prices, will zoom to $120 a barrel by June 2022,” CNN reported. “That’s 45% higher than current levels.”
Francisco Blanch, Bank of America’s head of global commodities, spoke with CNN about the prediction, noting that back in June he predicted that the price of crude oil would shoot to $100 a barrel.

In another defeat for Democrats and the left's agenda on Tuesday night, a majority of Minneapolis voters defeated a ballot question seeking to abolish the city's police department and replace it with a public health agency by a margin of 56 to 44 percent.
Unsurprisingly, the "defund the police" crowd in Minneapolis did not take their defeat at the ballot box too well after campaigning to entirely abolish the police department in Minnesota's largest city amid rising crime that caused citywide warnings of carjackings to be issued last month.
"I never would have guessed, standing outside that burning precinct,
