The statute of limitations on lying to the FBI was about to expire, so Durham's team had to indict now, (snip)But I go by track record, and John Durham's track record shows he is a good investigator and a smart bureaucrat. He will go just deep enough in his prosecutions to satisfy the public but not so far as to endanger the establishment.

One line, however, seems to reverberate for those of us who have followed this scandal for years now: “You do realize that we will have to expose every trick we have in our bag.”

The news was heartbreaking and what everyone feared.
On Sunday, a body believed to be that of a missing woman, Gabby Petito, was found a camping area in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, who was traveling with her, has meanwhile vanished. He is now the subject of an intensive search in Florida where the couple lived.
Whether law enforcement is officially calling him a suspect in Petito’s death is immaterial and nothing more than the parsing of legally-loaded vocabulary. Police and the FBI are certainly treating him as a suspect. And for good reason.

For well over a year, CTH has been outlining the critical importance of fellowship. The importance of the human connection that seems to have been purposefully torn apart. I agree with Mr. Oliver in many points including that the lock-downs were purposefully orchestrated in order to make people feel isolated and alone. When people are isolated, they become fearful. Those who hold power tenuously need fear in order to keep control.

Video footage has emerged that purportedly shows Gabby Petito's van during the mysterious period between her last known sighting and the day when her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, returned home alone from their cross-country trip.
Petito's family are aware of the clip and have said they "believe this is the van for multiple reasons."
Police are yet to verify whether or not the van shown is the white Ford Transit used by the couple, investigators confirmed to Newsweek.
The footage was captured by a dashcam by YouTubers Jenn and Kyle Bethune, who have been traveling cross-country in an RV with their three children and four dogs.

The scientific method used to govern much of popular American thinking.
In empirical fashion, scientists advised us to examine evidence and data, and then by induction come to rational hypotheses. The enemies of “science” were politics, superstition, bias, and deduction.
Yet we are now returning to our version of medieval alchemy and astrology in rejecting a millennium of the scientific method.
Take the superstitions that now surround COVID-19.
We now know from data that a prior case of COVID-19 offers immunity as robust as vaccination. Why, then, are Joe Biden’s proposed vaccination mandates ignoring that scientific fact? Dr. Anthony Fauci, when asked, seemed at a loss for words.
They were a gruesome twosome. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were both in on withdrawing from Afghanistan. They apparently both ignored the various memos and reports from the State Department and elsewhere that painted a much more dismal picture of what things were like on the ground. I take that back; Joe did know. That’s why he phoned now-ex-Afghan President Ashraf Ghani prior to his government’s collapse to essentially lie about the state of his country. Biden wanted Ghani to be ‘Baghdad Bob,’ but Ghani was more concerned about modernizing Afghanistan’s economy than the deteriorating security situation.

WASHINGTON – Progressive lawmakers will introduce legislation this week that will give the Department of Health and Human Services the authority to create federal eviction moratoriums – pushing back against a recent decision by the Supreme Court that ruled the agency did not have the authority to do so. The introduction of the legislation, sponsored by Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., comes weeks after the high court blocked the Biden administration's eviction moratorium, ruling the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did not have authority to impose the freeze. The Justice for J6 Rally focused on bringing awareness to several Trump supporters who are still sitting in prison for trespassing into the Capitol building on January 6th. The J6 Rally brought in roughly close to 200 people and members of the media, along with police officers outnumbering the demonstrators by a large amount.
Many notable conservative voices urged people not to attend the J6 Rally because they believed it was a FBI sting. Well, it appears their gut feeling was right.

(snip) Anyone with half a brain could see that this was another FBI entrapment scheme, to justify more arrests and more prisoners in solitary confinement awaiting trial for walking benignly through the U.S. Capitol. Social media was full of warnings to stay away from the trap. Even President Trump warned that it was “a setup.”

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced a visit Monday to Del Rio, Texas, where a camp of thousands of illegal immigrants has sprung up, puncturing the Biden administration’s claims of border security.
His visit comes as his department announced a series of get-tough steps, including promises of faster deportations, to try to clear out the throng of mostly Haitian immigrants who crossed the Rio Grande and established the beachhead in the U.S.
In an unsigned statement over the weekend, the department also said it was negotiating with other countries where the Haitians last lived to try to get them to take back the new arrivals.
