Why I don't have faith in John Durham

Thomas Lifson wrote, "I am cautiously optimistic over the indictment handed down yesterday, accusing attorney Michael Sussman, then of Perkins Coie, representing the Hillary Clinton campaign, of lying to the FBI. (snip)"But what gives me hope is the possibility of conspiracy charges developing. The statute of limitations on lying to the FBI was about to expire, so Durham's team had to indict now, (snip)But I go by track record, and John Durham's track record shows he is a good investigator and a smart bureaucrat. He will go just deep enough in his prosecutions to satisfy the public but not so far as to endanger the establishment.

Sadly, I tend to agree with Mr. Surber about Mr. Durham. I sincerely hope that I am proved wrong.

If Mr Surber writes it, I read it and then act on it.

No one does. If anything truly earth shattering was going to happen it would have already.
Release the kracken indeed. Humph..

Durham will indict the janitors and those outside U.S. jurisdiction, then go home.

i have even bigger disbelief..The entire judicial system is crooked and does just enough to keep the jour-no-listas in newsprint .not enough to jail the real agents of the coup & other corruptions

Any good bureaucrat can make nothing happen as slowly as necessary. Except for a dwindling few, this case has run its public course. PDT is now FPDT and the UNIPARTY profiteering goes on in high gear...but we know it's just those Dem commies...even after Mitch makes the best deal he could.

I am fairly convinced that the invisible Mr. Durham's job has been to carefully go over all these crimes by the Deep State thugs with a fine tooth comb. He has carefully sifted through all the evidence and gathered it all together in one place. Then he will burn it all, ensuring that no future effort by an honest investigator will be able to find one shred of evidence of all the massive criminality which was used by the Deep State thugs in the FBI, CIA and DoJ to take down a President.
This is the invisible Mr. Durhams's job. He is The Cleaner, Winston Wolf, in Pulp Fiction.

And as usual, nothing happens.
The absolute best case is this fall guy gets a fine and time served (while at his vacation home in the Caribbean).
More likely is he gets a raise and promotion and does the talk show circuit for his book.

Not much to disagree with. As to the whitey bulger matter, good old mueller was sued for wrongful imprisonment- of bulger’s competitors?- and they collected LARGE damages against the US. Perhaps a payoff? Or just a law suit.
And you would have to be stupid to cross The Establishment at Durham’s level; the truth would be buried, you would be disgraced and discredited. And who knows what else.
I was happy to hear Bongino reading from the indictment and hearing it say that the whole Russiagate matter was a criminal persecution/prosecution.
The Gullibles might slightly awaken if hillary were indicted (never); they will never awaken enough to comprehend what the text of the indictment says. But at least it’s been written down for me to look at when I wonder if I’m crazy.
And since it is written down perhaps it will take on a life of it own like the clitton impeachment. There is no doubt what that cad did; at least it’s not buried in FBI archives.

I hope Don Surber is aware - - that John Durham is an outstanding miniature golfer - - one of the best there has ever been.
I hope Mr. Surber takes the time and trouble to visit Mike & Millie's Mini-Golf in Guilford, CT - - to see firsthand just how good Durham is. I think Surber's reporting will change dramatically after that.

DOJ culture produces ultra-careful prosecutors who forego a straightforward, simple, timely approach in favor of interminable and exhaustive shaggy dog tales that put judges and juries to sleep and often collapse of their own complication.

I you dig a little deep into politics and deviousness of the D&&p State, there's some interesting things that give details of c)urt martia!s of many [rominent players. If it is true, then the game has changed. Otherwise we know how the end ends, and that isterrifying.

I will be sad when the Durham thing is over, because that will mean no more rants by Mark Steyn.
This teaches us there is some value in everything [except the Dems]

My understanding is that Durham's report is to be released ONE WEEK AFTER the FINAL report on JFK's murder.

Former newspaperman Surber has his own long memory to serve him. He brings a perspective that many of us do not have. Well worth a read.
