President Joe Biden is planning the first major federal tax hike since 1993 to help pay for the long-term economic program designed as a follow-up to his pandemic-relief bill, according to people familiar with the matter.
Unlike the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 stimulus act, the next initiative, which is expected to be even bigger, won’t rely just on government debt as a funding source. While it’s been increasingly clear that tax hikes will be a component—Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said at least part of the next bill will have to be paid for, and pointed to higher

Can't even say elections have consequences. A great majority of those voting legally didn't vote for this guy. What else can we do? Take up pitchforks and march on Congress. Been there done that on Jan 6.

Just a reminder: ''Biden Eyes First ...'' is just a play on words. Even our bitterest enemies know that Biden ain't doing squat! He can't, he won't and he didn't. Obama and Pelosi might have done it, but not Xiden.

Here's a quick summary of Biden's new tax plan:
That one-time $1,400 stimulus check he gave you is about to cost you around $2,100...a year.

I still consider Biden lucid enough at times that he knows what he is doing. That means he must continue to be held responsible. This is the Destruction of America Tax Hike. We will tax our way to prosperity. We have heard this before. It doesn't work. Our 'leaders' know this yet persist.

Don't be surprised. He said he wanted to do this, and most other democrats running for POTUS in 2020 did too.
After all, they have programs to fund, and expand.
Besides, almost no one will complain about those making over $400,000 and $1,000,000, paying more so they don't have to, or are able to obtain some other benefit.
I expect they'll also have an increase in SALT, if not a full return, for those making under $400,000.

Dumb AZZ....even if he raised taxes on all of us to 100% it wouldn't even begin to pay down the deficit for 20 or 30 years and I don't think the Republic will last that long...

How about we simplify things, don't do the democrats' fraudulent, pork-laden stimulus bill and then we won't have to do the tax hike? After all, the real America doesn't want any of it.

Some day they will tax savings the same way they tax income. These people are too greedy to leave savings alone. Come to think of it, we are likely well on our way already.

Papa Joe is not breaking his promise of "not" raising taxes by a dime, in fact, he plans on raising taxes by thousands of dimes. And the wealthy who voted for him, get ready for a wealth tax. Couldn't happen to a nicer group of individuals.

President Ronald Reagan had tremendous wisdom about demonrat socialists and taxes--
One that come to mind is "tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend" which now means "Spend and tax, spend and borrow money, spend and print money"
Here's a timely original quote: "The problem is not that people are taxed too little, the problem is that government spends too much

Liberals, of course, will be exempt from the tax increases. You know, the "trusts" and phony corporation dodges will remain for them. Hey, it worked for Sleepy Creepy Crooked President Uncle Joe. 47 years as a modestly paid government official and he's worth millions. As are his kids and others in his family.
All, of course, legal. It does help when you write (or at least vote) on the laws.

If you don't get the money, I would rather they print the money so everybody has to pay for it through inflation.
