Under the cover of darkness on Tuesday evening, New York Police Department officers raided anti-Israel demonstrations at Columbia University and City University of New York. Joseph A. Howley, an associate professor at Columbia, posted the text of a message received by university faculty warning of the impending raid. At this hour, the NYPD is massing on barricaded streets outside the gates of Columbia University. Columbia faculty have spent the day offering our help to defuse the situation on Columbia’s campus and have been rebuffed or ignored. We have been locked out of our campus and have demanded to be allowed back in, and have been rebuffed or ignored.

Only to be beaten by the shorter time needed for the DA to decline to file charges and release thrm on the streets. It would have bern a terrible shame if there had been all sorts of technical snafus and paperwork errors that kept these folks in jail for at least a couple of days.

Give these violent agitators a taste of January 6th justice. No one deserves it more. If they have the nerve to support one of the most heinous terrorist organizations in the world, they should be made to sit in jail and contemplate their decision. Blast their mug shots all over the public square. Unmask them for who they are and give them no quarter. Hamas supporters are evil. Let’s remind them exactly what transpired in October to innocent civilians. You cannot justify that kind of barbarity.

"Watch: New York's Finest Clear Out Columbia Rat's Nest in Record Time" - now this is the kind of headline that deserves praise for its clarity and to the point wording, give whomever wrote this a big raise and an extra weeks vacation love the wording: "New York's Finest" , "Clear Out", "Rat's Nest" and "Record Time" and wherever this editor went to journalism school, the faculty should be proud of this graduate , he/she has done well with this article

And the damned "prosecutor" will not do anything to these criminals, of course. This is why the arrest process should include some punishment, since nothing else will be done. Bruises, scrapes and some broken bones should be administered generously by the cops.

Tehran University Professor Foad Izadi likes what he sees happening on American college campuses. Izadi said in an interview on Iranian state television station IRIB Ofogh that "these are our people." He said that he is a part of Iran's brutal Islamic dictatorship and they are cheering on the protests all across America. He boasted that Iran has Hezbollah-like militant cells hiding in the United States. He took credit for Iran keeping "the Palestinian idea" alive. Izadi said that the movement would have closed down if not for the support of the Iranian regime. 'Sooner or later, this kind of support for the Zionist regime by the American regime will diminish.

The Israeli Air Force will mothball its Patriot air defense systems within two months as it moves to replace them with its own more advanced air defense equipment, the country's defense ministry announced on April 30. According to media reports, Israel is thought to have eight U.S.-produced Patriot systems that currently work alongside its own air defenses, most famously the Iron Dome, a short-range interceptor designed to shoot down rockets, mortars, and drones. It also deploys the David's Sling system, designed to shoot down medium-range projectiles, and the Arrow, a long-range system designed to intercept ballistic missiles.

Radical ideology, and in particular Critical Race Theory, has captured our public health system. That is not an overstatement; it is simply a fact, and you better get used to it. It has become not just useless, but dangerous to your health and our country. We shouldn't be surprised, and most of you aren't. It has been getting more obvious every day, but given how radical the change has been and how sweeping the scope of that change, it's useful to provide an overview. That is what Twitter user and writer Michael Young has done, through his account Wokal Distance. He has done an

Cops in riot gear descended onto the University of California, Los Angeles campus, breaking up a pro-Palestinian encampment and detaining multiple people. California Highway Patrol officers made their move at UCLA early Thursday morning, busting through barricades to dismantle a wooden wall erected by activists protesting the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip. They also tore down tents in the area, which was littered with broken pieces of wood and damaged furniture. Some of the activists fought back, spraying officers with fire extinguishers while refusing to leave the UCLA grounds -- even after police had spent hours ordering them to disperse over a loudspeaker.

It's not exactly the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima, but it was damned satisfying to watch. Pro-Palestinian protesters at the City College of New York had removed the American flag from the flagpole at the start of their protests two weeks ago and raised the Palestinian flag. After the NYPD swarmed the CUNY campus and began arresting dozens of protesters, several cops began to take down the Palestinian flag. They were none too gentle about it either. Then, NYPD Deputy Commissioner, Operations Kaz Daughtry and several other officers raised the American flag.

Ex-NPR senior editor Uri Berliner appeared again on Chris Cuomo's NewsNation show on Tuesday night. “I think that really, NPR has a lot of soul searching to do about representing the country at large. Being a publicly funded news organization and really trying to represent this country in all its great diversity and viewpoints.” It should seem obvious that NPR is impervious to "soul searching" since they didn't want Berliner to work there any more after he raised his questions about viewpoint diversity. Cuomo asked about morning host Steve Inskeep and then other people at NPR saying Berliner "cherry-picked" his stories and got it wrong. "Do you think in retrospect that

Senior Democrats are reportedly in "panic mode" about the violent demonstrations that have broken out across America's college campuses as the consequences of the conflict in the Middle East imperil Joe Biden's chances of re-election. Protests against Israel's war against Hamas have spread like wildfire over the past few days, with major demonstrations taking place at some of the country's top universities, including Columbia and University College of Los Angeles (UCLA). According to a report from Axios, Democrats in Congress are increasingly concerned about the optics of said demonstrations and fear it could even cost them the White House:

WESTWOOD, LOS ANGELES -- Authorities declared an unlawful assembly at UCLA Wednesday evening and began preparing to disperse a massive crowd of protesters and counter-protesters that had grown in size after violent conflicts on campus overnight. The Los Angeles Police Department declared a tactical alert as officers in riot gear positioned themselves on campus to remove protesters who all day had been signaling their intentions to dig in to their positions. During the daytime, members of the pro-Palestinian protest group were handing out supplies that included umbrellas, helmets, gas masks and goggles. A sign at one tent read "Protection kits 4 tonight."

President Biden is in a difficult position when it comes to student protests. That's almost certainly why we've heard so little from him while all of this is going on all around the country. At today's White House press briefing, AP reporter Zeke Miller asked the press secretary about it. KJP responded by bringing up Biden's record on anti-Semitism and how he spoke out after the 2017 march at UVA. "Let's not forget in 2017. He was very clear what we saw — the anti-Semitic vile that we saw in Charlottesville — on the streets of Charlottesville. He called that out. He called that out," she said.

The Arizona Senate voted Wednesday to pass a repeal of the near-total ban on abortion from 1864 that was upheld by the battleground state’s Supreme Court last month. The bill, which the state House approved last week, will soon head to Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs for her signature. Hobbs has said she will sign the repeal bill. Two state Senate Republicans — Shawnna Bolick and T.J. Shope — joined all 14 Democrats in the narrowly divided chamber in approving a repeal of the Civil War-era law that held the power to send a doctor to prison for providing nearly any kind of abortion care.

Former President Donald Trump has been having some serious sit-down meetings with some significant national leaders, and it's annoying the Biden administration. These kinds of meetings aren't all that unusual during presidential elections, but as usual, Donald Trump is doing this his way: In less than two months, Trump has hosted Polish President Andrzej Duda, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso and David Cameron, the former British prime minister who now serves as the U.K.’s foreign secretary. He’s also talked with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and others by phone. It’s not unusual for a party nominee to meet with foreign officials —
