Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that he is afraid of a possible return of Donald Trump to the White House in 2024, before begging for more American-made Patriot missile systems.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted he has concerns about the possible re-election of Donald Trump next year, saying that he was unsure how exactly the Republican leader would have reacted had Russia invaded during his presidency.
The Ukrainian head-of-state also praised the response of the Biden administration, which has regularly handed over billions of dollars worth of weapons aid to the Eastern European nation since Moscow’s invasion began last year.

No more money or arms until they meet to end the war. Otherwise this will go on for another 10 years and a $Trillion. Enough is enough already!

I would hope that President Trump would continue the materiel support of the Ukrainian patriots fighting and dying to protect their OWN country from invasion by Russia, and not asking for any Americans to shed blood for them.
For me this is the whole difference, a MASSIVE one, compared to other wars of the last 50 years. NO Americans fighting or dying.
I am always happy to help a country defend itself from a vicious external attack by providing weapons and even training. Those are things that can be replaced, not humans who are individually irreplaceable.
As long as the Ukrainians are motivated, competent (and they are) and have the backbone and willingness to defend their country, IMO, we should give them our support. Putin is pure evil, just like Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini and a host of other vicious megalomaniacs in history.
How would the world have been better if Europe and the USA had put their foot down when Hitler moved into Czechoslovakia in 1938? Might stopping Hitler there have averted the many tens of millions dead in WW2 in Europe?

Our Alleged President should explain to the American people why the continuation of fighting and funding is in America's best interests.
Unacceptable answers include: (i) Putin bad; (ii) Putin's a war criminal; (iii) Putin should not be allowed to continue as leader of Russia; (iv) US wants to overthrow Putin; (v) Putin's wants to take over all of Western Europe; (vi) the US military industrial complex wants fighting and funding and they pay Big Bidet's bills; (vii) Ukraine can be in NATO if it wants to; and (viii) "I fall down."
Acceptable answer must include compelling reasons why NATO must be expanded to include Ukraine and why American soldiers should be willing to go to Ukraine and fight and why Americans should accept a lower standard of living to enable all that.

Useless speculation on Trump’s response to a Russian invasion on his watch.
There would be no Russian invasion on his watch.

Zelinsky is living high of the hog as long as the corrupt establishment is in charge. Trump might bring peace. Can't have that. Meanwhile the US goes bankrupt.

So...you want me to continue to fund the arms manufacturers as well as Mrs Zs shopping trips to Paris,Rome,Milan,Berlin,Kyoto,Tokyo etc etc?
Oh and "The Big Guy" still gets his ten percent.
NO.
Close and defend the borders of the USA first, then maybe we think about funding foreign adventures.

Time will tell. If Trump becomes President, will he continue to support Ukraine? Not sure where he stands. If he wanted to pull support to Ukraine, would he stand his ground or would he allow himself to be persuaded? That kind of what happened with him regarding the pandemic.

Interesting assertions, #6, but do you have any factual sources for your claims? Or just more Russian propaganda being repeated?
I pay close attention to this war, and Zelensky is living in Kiev and subject to the continuous bombardment by Russian missiles almost every single day. Doesn't sound much like your claims to me. It sounds much like Churchill staying in London during the Blitz, what a committed leader does in those conditions.
The hate of Ukraine and Ukrainians, without any factual basis, and without any willingness to cite sources just baffles me. Is the Russian propaganda THAT effective? Why is that, are so many normally thinking Americans to easily disinformed?

Well, #15, Zelinskyyyy(!) seems to have no problem wandering the globe begging for money. You'd think if the Ruskies were competent, he'd have been defenestrated from a 10th floor suite in Belgium. I'm not eating the Alpo.

BTW, the fighting is about Ukraine membership in NATO. If that issue were off the table the fighting would not be happening.
Ukraine membership in NATO = US obligation to defend Ukraine = US troops in Ukraine.
And $Billions sent to Ukraine are unaccounted for, MIA, presumed dead to the US taxpayer, but living in somebody’s bank account somewhere. The Alleged President should tell us where they are so the Vogue photo shoots, the Paris shopping trips, and the general principle that “funds paid to a corrupt regime that are unaccounted for end up in leadership’s pocket” do not give rise to a suspicion that Big Z is enriching himself, even if only by a few hundred $millions.

President Trump needs to insist that the prosecutor that was on to the Hunter money laundering scheme and fired by VP Biden's demand needs to be put in charge of an investigation about the Biden criminal activity in Ukraine as a requirement for additional military hardware from the US. That would be interesting. .

Zelensky wants to keep the falling up and down steps money machine poop pants going. Where is the accounting that informs us where our money is going? Other than Zelensky and the bidet of course.

Volodymyr "Hitler" Zelensky knows that the war will be over within a week of President Trump being sworn in to this second term. And that President Trump will then demand an accounting of every penny we gave Ukraine in money and weapons.
Suddenly those billions of dollars that Zelensky and his cronies have been stashing away in their personal accounts are going to be much harder to hide. They have had absolutely no oversite or accountability so far.
This whole war has been bad guys versus worse guys (and I'll leave it to you to decide which was which). But it's also been a huge sinkhole for American tax dollars being wasted. No more!!!!!

Trump will make both sides a deal that can't be refused and the war will end. The first big payment from Joe resulted in Zelenskyy's top people being paid and their total pensions financed. That is not wartime aid, that is graft. Weapons systems that we sent to Ukraine are being discovered all over the world, that is also crooked dealing. I hope Joe is not driving us into bankruptcy by financing this war simply to protect himself and Hunter but I put nothing past this evil deadhead.
Russia needs wintertime access to that seaport and fears NATO membership for Ukraine. Those deals can be inked in a day.

Vlad, had you played ball with Trump while he was #45, you'd have peace not war right now, and you could enjoy your Tuscan villa with your family in safety, instead of panhandling world leaders for money.
By the way, do you remember that innocuous telephone call you had with President Trump, which later resulted in his being Impeached? Was that a setup between you and Democrats back here in Washington DC? If so, as the saying goes, "you made your bed, now 'lie' in it."

I'll bet 'track suit boy' hates to see Trump possibly win with the ATM getting shut down. We shouldn't be involved in something that was going on for centuries and will continue long after these times. I don't care about either country right or wrong. I watched Robert McNamara run and ruin this country in a war which took 58,000 American lives and countless others for the military industrial complex. I know I was in it, and I say never again for democrat war mongers.

The little Ukrainian troll has much to fear from PDJT getting back on the wheels of steel. One point is the fact that the war would end and his grift would stop. No billions just handed over without any oversight. No more US funds for his wife to go shopping in Paris while his own people suffer. The big reason is PDJT will get to the obvious corrupt going on with Biden getting millions from Ukraine via his crack head son Bobby. Hunter is his middle name.
