President Volodymyr Zelensky has heaped praise on Joe Biden over his continued support for Ukraine in its fight against Russia. Giving a surprise address to students graduating from Johns Hopkins University, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke highly of his allies in the United States government and the Biden administration. Since Russia’s invasion of the country, the Democrat-run government has committed tens of billions of dollars in weapons, ammunition and equipment to the country, with the latest package of so-called military “aid” being announced only last week.

I am ashamed of the provoking of and the massive funding of this proxy war against Russia. By whom and when was this decided in the U. S. government? What happened to glasnost? Perestroika? What happened to the international goodwill of the 1990s? What exactly do we have against Russia and/or China? Tomorrow is Memorial Day and we remember the ultimate sacrifices that regular people made because of the folly and caprice of smug politicians and bureaucrats. At 73 years of age, I am sickened that we are willing to destroy lives and cities, towns, villages and homes…. All for what? This is madness!

It is time to either they win this fight or we need to quit funding this spending nonsense. Europe is not paying their fair share. Pump oil in this country flood the market lower the price of oil and this will disrupt the Russian economy to the point they cannot fund the war anymore. Biden IS NOT a doing all he can do to end this war.

It would be nice to know how much of the over $100,000,000,000 showered on Ukraine has been returned to the Resident and other corrupt American pols in the form of bribes and kickbacks. Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries that allowed the Biden crime family to wet their beaks.

Trump Critics Need to Stop Complaining
about 'Baggage'

The criticisms that some conservative critics of President Trump have is that he had too much "baggage." The "baggage" is Trump's confrontational style, his "mean" social media posts, and the myriad "scandals" during his administration. They complain that Trump's "baggage" makes him impossible to defend. They complain that Trump often invites trouble. In Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, they think they have their ideal candidate: someone who purportedly stands for the MAGA agenda but is devoid of "baggage." So does the "baggage" make Trump a target?

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis joined a group of congressional conservatives who are ripping a new deal to raise the debt limit and curb spending for two years – saying it keeps the nation on a path toward 'bankruptcy.' DeSantis, who last week formally announced his campaign for the White House, weighed in two days after President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced the deal, which would suspend the federal debt limit through January 2025. Asked for his assessment, DeSantis told Fox News: 'Well, prior to this deal ... our country was careening towards bankruptcy. And after this deal our country will still be careening towards bankruptcy.'

This Memorial Day, I want my children to know that every move we make is a costly move. A hotdog barbecued in the backyard is a lavish expense. The price of watching a parade is exorbitant. Admission to the National Memorial Day Concert on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol is incalculable. On the last Monday of May we honor the men and women who pay for our freedom. The cost of their immeasurable sacrifices is foundational to every move we make. (Video)

The failure to do so would have catastrophic impacts on every American, every family, and the global economy,” Hoyer reportedly said.

Is There a Polite Way to Handle the Pronoun Madness? 32 replies
Posted by Hazymac 5/28/2023 4:06:24 PM Post Reply
One of the most maddening things about modern culture is the whole issue of pronouns. At the very least, it’s annoying that some people trumpet their pronouns, choosing to base their identity on how people address them when talking about them behind their backs. But it’s even worse the way some people freak out over people using the wrong pronouns as if other people have nothing better to do than keep up with what everybody’s pronouns are at any given moment. Prounoun obsession is the ultimate form of narcissism; it’s entirely self-focused to think that everyone should bend to the whim of what you want to call yourself.
