The Walt Disney Company’s ongoing feud with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has caused the Mouse House to plummet in a key gauge that measures the reputation of the most visible brands in America. The Bob Iger-led media giant plunged 12 spots to rank 77th in this year’s Axios and Harris Poll 100, which is based on a survey of 16,310 Americans from a nationally representative sample conducted March 13–28. The survey ranked Disney as the fifth most polarizing company — a metric that is measured by the gap between the reputational score among Democrats and Republicans. The company has been engaged in a bare-knuckle battle

Disney's fight with Florida's governor is only one facet of the once-great company's decline. The main culprit is their product and their endless and limitless push of LBGTQ++++ BS down the gullet of American families. If they weren't so perverted, they would not be running off their audience and customers.

The American people have long memories and however much they might want to forgive a company responsible for so much childhood and parental joy, Disney's brand is forever tainted. Bud Light will be the butt of jokes and fallen sales maybe permanently. Target is on the cusp of destroying their identity. If we 'forgive' these businesses by restoring their sales and profits, they will cease to even care about our values at all. This will be just a momentary blip like 'New Coke' was decades ago. We mustn't let them up for air. This is like the movie's monster villain who takes a shot and only appears dead only to resurrect and continue the mayhem. 'SHOOT him again!' Forgive people NOT corporations. These behaviors are straight from the designs of Satan himself and God's punishment for him is forever. Texas and Florida have it right. Do not allow the Blackrocks to do business with the state or any of its partners.

Recent high-profile and controversial marketing decisions by Target and Bud Light are backfiring and burning shareholders in the process to the tune of a combined $28 billion. "These are both cases where brands have gotten in the middle of some really controversial issues," said Timothy Calkins, associate chair of the marketing department at Northwestern Kellogg, in an interview with FOX Business. "I think we'll see more brands be very cautious about getting into the middle of some of these really controversial issues," he noted. LinkedIn has censored GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for “misinformation” and “hate speech” in seemingly anodyne posts about climate change and the threat of China — as a new internal poll shows him third behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump among Republican primary voters. The entrepreneur’s account has been blocked for more than a week over three posts deemed offensive by LinkedIn, specifically: “The CCP is playing the Biden administration like a Chinese mandolin.” “If the climate religion was really about climate change, then they’d be worried about, say, shifting oil production from the U.S. to places like Russia and China.” “The climate agenda is a lie

Good. The beer industry isn’t celebrating the victory of conservatives over Bud Light. They are peeing in their pants like a drunk who waited too long to go to the men’s room. Nice image, right? That is the word from an interview by Fox News of Beer Business Daily editor and publisher Harry Schuhmacher. The entire beer industry is floored that Bud Light is still taking heat over its now-infamous promo with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney and the backlash has put rival beers in high demand, according to the publisher of prominent trade publication Beer Business Daily. “The whole industry is in shock.

Joe Biden doesn’t seem to give a darn about debt negotiations or our economic status. First, he refused to even talk with Republicans for 97 days. But since he has been talking, he doesn’t want to cut anything, he just wants to keep spending us into the poor house. He’s completely in the thrall of the leftist wing of his party and they don’t want him to agree with the Republicans. Unfortunately for the Democrats, Americans want cuts and they see Joe Biden as the obstacle here. The Republicans already passed a bill, it’s Biden who isn’t getting it done and Americans see it.

Dr. Jamie Lee Henry was both a doctor and an Army major with a secret security clearance. Prosecutors have said during the trial that it was possible he could have handed the Russians Joe Biden’s medical records. Prosecutors alleged the couple could potentially provide the Russian government access to President Biden’s medical records, among other high-profile patients, in systems accessible online.

Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida brought in $8.2 million in fundraising during the 24 hours after he declared his candidacy for president, his campaign announced on Thursday. The announcement by the DeSantis campaign is a move to exhibit the energy and enthusiasm for the Florida governor as he enters a GOP 2024 nomination race where former President Donald Trump is the clear front-runner in the latest polling. DeSantis declared his candidacy for president on Wednesday in a campaign launch video first reported by Fox News. That announcement was quickly followed evening following an extremely rocky rollout by DeSantis in an appearance on Twitter with business magnate

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton teetered on the brink of impeachment Thursday after years of scandal, criminal charges and corruption accusations that the state’s Republican majority had largely met with silence until now. In an unanimous decision, a Republican-led House investigative committee that spent months quietly looking into Paxton recommended impeaching the state’s top lawyer. The House could vote on the recommendation as soon as Friday. If it impeaches Paxton, he would be forced to leave office immediately. The move sets set up what could be a remarkably sudden downfall

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday weakened a landmark water pollution law by ruling that an Idaho couple's property does not include wetlands subject to federal oversight under the law.actually The ruling, in which all the justices agreed in the outcome but differed on the legal reasoning, concluded that Mike and Chantell Sackett's land does not fall under jurisdiction of the 1972 Clean Water Act, so they do not require a federal permit to build on the property. The decision ends a yearslong battle between the Sacketts and the federal government and is a victory for conservative groups and business interests opposed to the broad application

The White House on Thursday released a broad national strategy to fight antisemitism, describing the initiative as unprecedented in scope amid a surge in anti-Jewish crime. However, the White House evaded an increasingly contentious debate over how to define antisemitism, avoiding a clear endorsement of a mainstream, widely accepted definition while simultaneously welcoming an alternative pushed by progressives who argue the former doesn't allow sufficient space to criticize Israel, the world's only Jewish state. The 60-page document details four pillars that undergird the strategy: increasing awareness and understanding of antisemitism and appreciation of Jewish American heritage,

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., slammed the Supreme Court's ruling Thursday that limited the Environmental Protection Agency's ability to regulate bodies of water, calling it a "MAGA" court even though the decision was 9-0. On Thursday, the high court issued an opinion that narrowed the EPA's broad definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS). The court said the federal government must define WOTUS as a water source with a "continuous surface connection" to major bodies of water. The decision upended an attempt by the Biden administration to regulate wetlands, lakes, ponds, streams and other "relatively permanent" waterways, which had relied on a broad reading of the EPA's authority

The current reports of executive branch illegality make Watergate look like kindergarten mischief. It is clear from the Durham report and the work of House Republican hearings that the current scandals in the Biden White House – and senior bureaucracies at the Justice Department, IRS, and elsewhere – are much deeper and more cancerous than Watergate ever was. It may be hard to remember, but Watergate came about due to a weird, dumb, and fairly narrow set of criminal behaviors which mushroomed into 69 officials being indicted and 48 imprisoned. I remember Watergate vividly, because I first ran for Congress in 1974 during the Watergate scandal.

As of early trading on Thursday, however, shares of the company were trading off 1% at $141.76 — capping a weeklong tumble that has shrunk the “cheap chic” discount retailer’s value to $65.3 billion. That amounts to a 12% drop that has shaved a whopping $9 billion off the company’s market capitalization.
