The state of California is implementing full Marxism before our very eyes under the guise of “equity.” And so now there can be no possible doubt if there ever was for anyone: instituting Communism has been what “equity” initiatives have been about all along. Now three of its most powerful utility companies are saying that they’re going to charge based not on how much of their product was used, but on how much money the user makes.
In simpler times, if you bought something, you paid for it. Rich or poor, tall or short, black or white, female or male, wise or foolish, everyone paid the same amount for a product.

Yeonmi Park escaped the oppressed, poverty-stricken nightmare of North Korea and sex slavery in China to reach freedom and success in America. But Park is worried about what woke ideology and authoritarian enforcement of wokeness are doing to America. If radical leftism’s current progress isn’t stopped, according to Park, America will become more like North Korea all the time.
The Founding Fathers thought they had prevented aristocracy by disallowing titles, but there can be a powerful oligarchy without titles or formal status, wielding more control over the lives of millions than many princes or dukes could have ever dreamed of

Budweiser has released a new patriotic advertisement as its parent company struggles with controversy over its endorsement partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
The advertisement, which was released on social media Friday, features one of Budweiser’s famous Clydesdale horses traversing the country from New York City to the Grand Canyon, passing by scenes in the American heartland as a narrator delivers a patriotic message.
“This is a story bigger than beer,” the ad’s narrator says in the ad. “This is the story of the American spirit.”
As the ad plays, the Clydesdale horse passes by some of the most famous American landmarks, showcasing the New York City skyline,

U.S. climate czar John Kerry claimed in an interview on Sunday that “so much has been invested in clean energy that there can be no rolling back of moves to end carbon emissions,” according to an interview with the Associated Press.
Kerry claimed that if countries phase out petroleum-based fuels, the world can purportedly limit average global warming to 1.7 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit).
“We’re in a very different place than where we were a year ago, let alone two and three years ago,” Kerry said.
“But we’re not doing everything we said we’d do,”

Comedian Kathy Griffin suggested former President Donald Trump played a part in her recent “complex PTSD” diagnosis.
In a TikTok posted last week, Griffin announced she began to develop post-traumatic stress disorder in 2017, around the time she tweeted a picture of herself holding a bloodied, severed head that resembled Trump.
“Let’s talk about PTSD. Never talked about it publicly,” Griffin said in the TikTok video. “You can laugh or whatever, but I’ve been diagnosed with complex PTSD, and it’s called an extreme case.”
“If any of you know my story, you’ll understand that this really started for me about five and a half years ago.

A massive mob of rowdy teenagers clashed with cops near downtown Chicago’s Millenium Park on Saturday night, leaving two teens wounded and at least one bystander beaten.
The unruly mob erupted in violence — trashing property, smashing windshields and torching cars while attacking at least one motorist — forcing cops to escort tourists to safety, WFLD-TV News reported Sunday.
Chicago police said two teens — 16 and 17 years old — were wounded by a gunman in the crowd, the outlet reported.
The violence came a day after a 14-year-old boy was shot during another outburst of teen violence at 31st Avenue Beach.
Police reported one arrest in that incident.

Meghan Markle did not want to 'play second fiddle to Kate' and would only have attended King Charles III's coronation 'if she was assured of a prominent position', royal experts have claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex will stay in California with her children Archie and Lilibet for the May 6 ceremony - before an expected career relaunch once her husband Prince Harry returns.
It was this week confirmed that Prince Harry will attend his father's Coronation ceremony alone, and is not expected to be at any of other events during the weekend or be a part of the coronation procession.

What happens when a pre-operative transgender teacher says she wants to shoot some of her students and has suicidal ideation? If the school is Fox Chapel Middle School in Hernando County, FL, the answer, until yesterday, was “not much and definitely not immediately.”
In a police report posted on the Moms for Liberty Hernando County Facebook page (Title: Your voice matters. Help fix Hernando county schools.), on March 24, the school resource officer was contacted by the assistant principal and guidance counselor (you just knew that when a guidance counselor got involved the whole story was going pear-shaped, didn’t you?).

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) has been sending out a whole lot of reminders that he's willing to work with his Republican colleagues, perhaps in hopes he'll hold onto his seat next year, if he does run for reelection. He may now help tank President Joe Biden's nominee for Secretary of Labor, Julie Su, though he's not the only one to express concern with her nomination.
Su will have her confirmation hearing with the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee next week, on April 20. According to sources mentioned in an Axios report, described as "people familiar with the situation," Manchin has expressed reservations about her nomination.

Local leaders in Chicago's Chatham neighborhood, located in the south side, held a press conference to demand the area's Walmart to not close down, going as far as to blame the company leaving the area is the reason they not are economically thriving.
"We have healthcare deserts. We have food deserts. And we wonder why! Our communities look like they look! That we have violence every single day! It is not just on us, it is on the corporate citizens that come into our community and ravage our community. And Walmart, you should absolutely be ashamed of yourselves. You are the reasons that our communities lack the investment that they have,"

As the controversy continues over Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s politically motivated indictment of former President Donald Trump in a case that no sane prosecutor would bring against anyone not named Donald Trump, House Republicans are about to introduce multiple bills that would restrict state and local prosecutors from prosecuting current or former presidents.
Any such cases could instead be moved to federal court, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan told Just the News on Thursday. Jordan said the lead bill would give current and former presidents the option to change venues.
The lead bill is slated to be introduced early next week at the latest. Jordan explained its significance:

Actually, it’s past time for a national conversation about the blatant racism of the Democrat Party.
Way past time.
The objective of a national conversation would be further exposure of the left’s hypocrisy about all things race-related, rather than to change the minds of those guilty of it. Hopefully, such a conversation would lead to an increase in independents, fence-leaners, and other swing voters abandoning the Democrats.
Anyway, let’s take a trip in the Wayback Machine to October 11, 1991, when conservative Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas — he’s black [sarc] — was attacked by Democrat senators after a former co-worker accused Thomas
