Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been “struggling” to get a grand jury to indict former President Donald Trump, two sources familiar with the Manhattan DA office told the Daily Mail.
One source called Bragg’s case “weak” and said it is causing a rift within the DA’s office. “They are having trouble convincing the jury to swallow the case. It’s a weak case and has caused divisions in the DA’s office.”This revelation comes after the grand jury ended up not meeting on Wednesday to consider the charges against the former president. Rumors have swirled

George Soros supported prosecutors equals "stupid." Soros has to find some really stupid wacked out liberals to run pro-criminal DA offices, and this clown is an embarrassment to clowns.

I think he has aspirations of higher office, like Senator or perhaps Governor one day and this case was going to make his career.
However like so many others on the Left it is looks like his delusions of grandeur are about to crash head on into the wall of fail where his career will be totaled.

The case must be extremely pathetic if he can't get a NYC grand jury to easily indict.
Remember that an indictment isn't a conviction. Just determine if they're might enough to go to trial. It is fully one sided and the defendant doesn't get to present a case.

I was on a grand jury once. The district attorney presents his case. The defense is not heard at all. The DA and all court officers leave the room and we deliberate. When we came to a decision we called the DA back in and gave him the news. I either signed the papers or they redid them for my signature, depending on our decision. Then everyone went home. No further sales pitch was allowed. No pre-vote counts and no interference before the vote from crooked politicians.
This dont seem right.

I can imagine Bragg sitting in his office thinking how his plans for liberal greatness are now dashed.

I know it's a stretch, but there might actually be three people in New York with a modicum of integrity. Who woulda thought?

My thought would be that the demonrats have figured out how badly this will hurt them and have sent out the marching orders to the grand jury.

Is it Legal for the Grand Jury to just Indict Bragg and call it a day?

A weak case to go along with his weak mind. When George Soros finances your campaign, that is proof certain that you are a loser and not fit for office. When you have to manufacture evidence from thin air, you are playing with the law and there is another reason for your zealous action, i.e. TDS. Bragg needs to go.

And it doesn't help that Bragg is apparently a typical affirmative action case, and not too bright.
