Should Trump’s lawyers be punished for

Here’s another lawyer joke: A mathematician, an engineer, and a lawyer were each asked the question, “What is two plus two?” The mathematician answered, “It’s four. It’s exactly four.” The engineer answered, “It’s four, give or take a little. It depends on the precision of the numbers.” The lawyer answered, “What do you want it to be?” Lawyers are supposed to be zealous advocates for their clients. That’s not just customary; it’s a formal provision in the American Bar Association Rules of Professional Conduct – the ABA ethics rules.

No. Period. No Joke. To do otherwise, tilts the scale of lady justice who is already blind, and makes her immaterial. The Deep State wants a Chicom style government with complete social control of the populace. Screw the Deep State.

Trump delenda est; by any and every means necessary. And that includes jettisoning due process, precedent, tradition, ethics, even the very Constitution itself. Lady Justice is not only blind she’s been hogtied, wrapped in chains, weighted with cement blocks and dumped in the Potomac or the Hudson never to be seen again.

FTA: “ But after two years of digging there’s little hard evidence of enough fraud to have changed the election outcome.” I wish Glen would explain this statement. I don’t know the technical definition of “fraud” in a ballot/voting/voter lawsuit. 2000 Mules seemed to contain a lot of evidence of fraud. I assume none of that evidence was ever presented in a trial. So, is it “no evidence” when you see crooks wearing gloves stuffing outdoor ballot boxes at 3:00 am? Then there’s a sort of extrinsic fraud of national security “experts” publishing a letter claiming the huncher bidet laptop was russian disinformation. Legal fraud requires that the defrauded party relied on the false statements to make a decision that damaged them. How could that ever be “proved” in this case? It is clear to me that no voting lawsuit could ever be won in the 2.5 month period between the election and Congressional decision on the new president. I guess if no lawsuit could be fully prosecuted and won in 2.5 months glen would say there’s no evidence of fraud? By definition i guess. There must be real time security. There can be no after the fact audit.

Avenetti publicly claimed Trump and Cavenaugh were rapists...was he sanctioned for that? Schiff and others repeatedly claimed Russia stole the Election on Trumps behalf with his full co-ordination, cooperation and collusion, also claimed they had absolute PROOF of that...Were they sanctioned? The claims she(and others) are being persecuted for are (as of yet) unproven...not proven to be false. There are multiple issues un adjudicated as of yet that were by definition "Unlawful"...some of which Legislatures have subsequently passed Laws to prohibit ever occurring again in the future, not "making them Unlawful", but rather CONFIRMING that they were unlawful. Only Lawful Ballots are Legal Votes. Waiving signature verification by anyone other than the Legislature was/is unlawful, waiving address change rules and standards by anyone other than the legislatures was/is unlawful, waiving residency requirements by anyone other than the legislature was/is unlawful. While the Jan6 demonstration was taking place the house was adjourned because elected AZ representatives had objected to the "Unlawful" tallies and slate of electors, at least 9 other states were also being challenged, 95 elected representatives and several elected Senators had all filed challenges over LAWS that were not faithfully followed. Lawyers do battle of exact wording and exact/inexact definitions...there is a famous standard where an english Law about the stealing of cattle and horses was found to NOT cover the theft of a single cow or horse, because it had been written using the plural terms.

I totally agree with #5 who doesn't go far enough in my opinion. Many Courts (including the SCOTUS) did not review evidence. The evidence was never reviewed due to 'lack of standing' or other legal mumbo jumbo which basically gave highly Partisan Judges the ability to shift the focus away from the truth. We live in a banana republic and the monkees are almost done stealing all the bananas!

Imagine a scenario where you and your fellow cube dwellers could band together, go to your boss, and tell him “If you give us a big fat raise at the expense of the shareholders, we’ll give you a personal kickback.” That’s what teachers’ unions do. The union members band together, package some payola in the form of union dues, launder it into “campaign contributions,” and give it to politicians who control the union members’ pay. In return, the politicians vote to increase the pay of the union members.

I’m reminded of an old lawyer joke along the same lines: Question: What do you call a thousand lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? Answer: A good start. Twitter has a diversity, equity and inclusion department. Like many companies, Twitter calls it something other than that because that phrase is now a joke. Recall how proud the Left was of “woke” until “woke” became a joke. Under various names, this DEI crap is everywhere. Any organization of any size – say bigger than about 50 people – now has a DEI person or even a whole DEI department. At Twitter, the department comprised 30 men and women and etc.

Up in Aspen where the town, the slopes and the people range from high to highly high, they’re having an election for mayor and city council. The election is hotly contested, there’s a lot of hot air being blown about and, as always in Aspen, the sex is steamy, if unconventional. All this makes the Global Warmers howl, but their howls are dampened by air temperatures in the single digits and a Colorado snowpack that is about 130% of normal. All 7,000 residents of Aspen want to be mayor or on city council.

Imagine a kid with a smart, dedicated, private, full-time tutor who dearly loves him, never goes on strike, and conducts classes within walking distance at a place that is physically and emotionally safe. It’s called “homeschooling.” Homeschooling used to be illegal. Children were required to attend organized schools even if they were physically assaulted, as I was, or were shaken down for their lunch money daily, as I was. (Other than the physical assaults and thievery and emotional torment and a few other things, I have very fond memories of public school.) Later, homeschooling became slightly more common but was still an offbeat thing. It was mainly something for oddball religious sects.

Bishops in the Church of England are agitating to make “God” a genderless word. No longer would God be a “he” or even a “she.” God is slated for genderless affirming surgery. God will be the Church of England’s eunuch. This presumably means that God will be referenced as “they.” But “they” is a plural pronoun. Ergo, the Church of England now apparently considers God to be plural – there is more than one. The choice of pronouns farce has thus gone to heaven. Not to die, as it should have the good grace to do, but to take over the place.

Testosterone is an interesting hormone. The more a man uses it, the higher his levels become. And the higher his levels become, the more he wants to use it. Exercise, especially resistance training like weight lifting, increases T levels. And then the increased T levels make a man want to go lift some weights. It’s a virtuous circle. If gasoline in a car were like T in a man’s body, the more you drove, and the harder you drove, the more gas there would be in your tank. But there’s not much gas in the tank of young men these days. A couple of centuries ago, an extraordinary group of 56 men on the eastern seaboard of our continent declared the independence of their lands. At the close of their Declaration of Independence, they further declared, “We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our scared honor.” I think Lauren Boebert would have voted “present.” The Founders weren’t just being melodramatic. Had they lost the Revolutionary War, they’d have met their end at the end of a rope. They took that risk to found this amazing democratic republic, one that Abraham Lincoln later noted was “conceived in liberty.” He might have added “with undaunted courage and against all odds.”

The number of people on planet Earth is about 8 billion. The number has grown exponentially, as numbers that are the result of exponential functions do. It’s something like the miracle of compound interest. The graph tells the story. I don’t think we’re on the verge of starving ourselves. That Malthusian apocalypse gets proven wrong over and over. That’s because Malthusians fail to foresee the agricultural productivity ensuing from technology. For that matter, they fail to foresee the general increase in well-being and comfort that technology brings about.

In stock market investing, you’re supposed to be pessimistic when everyone else is optimistic, and optimistic when everyone else is pessimistic. Warren Buffet famously put it this way: “Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful.” The reason the aforecited principle applies well in stock market investing is that the herd instinct makes people buy or sell stocks because other people are buying or selling. The result is that the stocks get over-sold or over-bought, thereby driving their price too low or too high in relation to their real indicators of value – mainly their current and future profits.

Scientists generally agree that the universe – defined as everything in existence – has not always existed. It came into existence with a bang about 13 billion years ago. This bang was a big one, so they named it the “Big Bang.” Before the Big Bang, there was no space, no energy and no time – not even empty space, zero energy or stopped time. There was nothing. And then everything was created out of this nothing. We call this everything “creation.” It’s the tangible universe around us, seen and unseen. It’s the energy, the matter, and the progression of time.

This person is “non-binary” and refers to his/her/them/itself with ungendered pronouns. OK, I get that. The person feels that he/her/it/they does (do?) not fit neatly into the anachronistic gender labels developed over about two million years of human history and prehistory as interpreted by science, medicine, genetics, sociology, biology, logic, anthropology and biochemistry promulgated by dead white European men – and dead men and women of color on the rest of the planet – consistent with the male/female dichotomy in the animal world.
