Disney has been slammed for going woke yet again after a new cartoon series features black children rapping about reparations – saying 'slaves built this country'. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder has sparked outrage by showing the characters discovering that their town was built by slaves and then giving a presentation to their school.(Snip)During the episode the characters, who are predominantly black, rule that Abraham Lincoln had no desire to end slavery – and so stage a petition to get his statue removed.

I believe Lincoln wrote to someone that if he could preserve the Union without freeing the slaves he would do so. He had no real love for blacks. It would be fascinating to think what might have transpired had he not been killed.

If you have not kicked Disney to the curb now is the time. The only thing they understand is $. Take your dollars and invest in some good historical novels for your kids. Yes, books that explain the good, the bad, the ugly and the exceptional side of America. The truth. You might want to start with Rush Limbaugh's excellent books on American history. Depending on their age the Little House on the Prairie books are still an excellent choice to showcase that time period. Lots of choices out there. It's time to dump the Mouse.

Disney is apparently beyond redemption. They aren’t going to change so all we can do is not buy their products but the company is so infested by homosexuals and the radical left that even losing customers won’t make them change. That said, I will never spend a penny on anything from Disney. It’s a disgusting and vile corporation.

#1, ?, ! The Republican party is based on EQUAL rights for all people. Democrats and their Confederacy were the ones who thought owning other humans was OK.

# 1 sounds like something taught in CRT, that he had no love for black people. Lincoln was opposed to the institution of slavery during his entire lifetime but, like most white Americans, he was not an abolitionist. Abraham and Mary Lincoln employed two free black women as domestic servants in their home, did not own slaves, and many of Lincoln’s professional and personal acquaintances employed blacks.

Honestly, Disney is toast, but it doesn't look like they have the slightest inkling of that fact. Let em' burn.

POC do not want to help those ENSLAVED today. All they do is complain abt the past. Why not show how much you REALLY care abt slavery by helping those who are enslaved today.

Next, they say Jesus was a fictional character and that there is no God and God does not have a Son. Wait for it.

Disney has made an expensive mistake by destroying their brand. I will no longer take my grandchildren to any Disney movie. They can’t be trusted. This is very sad. Are their major shareholders happy about this?

At this point, Disney seems to be trying to pick up as much speed as possible before it augers into the ground.

Sorry for the second post, but I'm somewhat of a Lincoln fan and Poster 1 is correct. In a letter to Horace Greeley dated on August 22, 1862, Lincoln states:
“If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that.”

We have to be on alert for a trend that is gaining momentum: the vilification of Lincoln. Perhaps because he was the first Republican President, the Left needs to convince modern people that he was really a monster. Bogus stories about him are cropping up. I recently read a theory that he was a victim of mercury poisoning which accounted for his well-known fits of rage. What fits of rage? If I could have asked the author for even one primary source I would have. Lincoln did write in the spirit #1 claimed and that’s a fact. What is missing is context. Lincoln was speaking about his responsibilities as President rather than his personal feelings which were anti slavery. By today’s standards he was a racist, believing blacks to be unequal to whites in various ways but he respected them as fellow human beings.

While children of conservatives are not watching Disney's pap, children of the other side are. This will not end well. I saw a short video of the Proud Family last night on Tucker's show and I was shocked at how hateful it is. Think when the blacks march and pump their fists in the air, carrying racist signs. That is what the other children will see from this show.
