Homestead — Disturbing video of a young girl's assault on a school bus has gone viral, angering parents and inundating a South Florida school district with demands that someone be held accountable. In the cellphone video, a student from Coconut Palm K-8 Academy in Homestead is seen pummeling a 9-year-old girl's head with his fists repeatedly as she tries to fend him off. He stops for a moment, and another boy quickly jumps in to take his place amid the shouts of onlooking classmates. No adult appears to intervene during the almost 40-second video. Miami-Dade Schools released a statement this week decrying the behavior and confirming that

Mrs drives a school bus in Georgia. They are trained to not intervene, but call 911. One of her driver friends was put in the hospital in December by a student attack. The student was arrested, and on the bus the next day. The schools refuse to deny access to transport for any student, regardless of the students behavior. My white has kids on her bus that have ankle bracelets on!

What’s alarming is the “herd mentality” which the younger boy develops as the beating ensues. He was too willing (nay, EAGER) to get his licks in after he watched the big kid. #6 is right: bus drivers are TRAINED to not intervene. Here in my happy little town, the bus drivers have “helpers” on their busses. And bus drivers are getting scarce.

This is the reason why we had bus monitors on our busses. Elementary buses had one monitor. Some middle school/high school routes had two. One was always a male. I hope the school is braced for a BIG lawsuit because it's coming down the pike.

Racial wilding on a school bus. There are no excuses for the actions of the two boys. The bus driver should have intervened. But he didn't. The rest of the students on the bus were out of control, as well. So much for the Academy School. Bullying was said to be happening at the school as well. If the races involved were reversed, all hell would be breaking loose in South Florida. Racial animas is obvious. Another Trayveon Martin wannabe.

Everybody is commenting about "Where is the bus driver during this 40 second beatdown?" Well for one thing, he/she is DRIVING the bus. Secondly, if they are in traffic, they have to warn other drivers that they are going to stop the bus. Thirdly, they have to pull over and stop the bus safely. That in itself would take several minutes, then he/she would have to separate the students to get to the aggressor and victim. Now, if the action started before the driver left the school yard, then that is a different story.

As a grandmother of a nine year old little girl I cannot explain how devastated I was to read an article about this violent assault. In fact, I had to stop reading it. Then a video was shown on Tucker Carlson’s program and I was horrified. How could anyone do such a heinous thing? The attacker was ruthless, out of control with rage and the poor little girl was defenseless. Had he been able to get her on the floor he could have easily killed her. Grown men have been killed by an attacker kicking them. What kind of physical injuries did the child receive? It is going to be an incident like this that is going to spark a total breakdown in race relations. There is a portion of the black community that has a real problem and they refuse to address it. We all have seen this behavior play out time and time again. Of course, not all blacks are rage filled violent bullies but far too many are and those are the ones that need to know this kind of violence is unacceptable and will result in punishment. Americans are primarily peaceful people. We know this is a big country with a lot of diverse people but we must get along and that can only happen if we show respect toward one another. Just listen to media figures like Joy Reid, Whoopi Goldberg, and others who day after day verbally abuse whites. The left has knowingly stirred the race pot to a boiling point because it benefits them politically. I want to hear from every race baiter in government and media and listen to their thoughts on this horrific beating. Americans will accept a lot, but they are not going to stand for watching their children beaten to a pulp on a school bus or anywhere else for that matter. I predict the story will be buried by the media as best they can. If there is any explanation for this feral little punk’s anti-social behavior it will be laid at the feet of his home life essentially turning him into a victim. It will be interesting to hear DeSantis’s take on this. God bless this little girl. No child in America regardless of race or any other consideration should ever have to experience what she has gone through not only physically but mentally also. Talk about PTSD, she will never forget this and will be affected by this the rest of her life. I hope the finest lawyers in this country will offer their services pro bono and will sue this school district and anyone else remotely involved in this violent assault into oblivion.

In the interests of full disclosure, exactly the same thing happened to me during the civil rights days way back when. I was a skinny 11 year old going to an inner city school. An adult black man beat me to within an inch of my life simply for being white. I just found the pictures and my face looked like hamburger. Someone told the guys name and Dad had him arrested. The judge gave him probation because everyone was afraid of blacks rioting even more. That sort of thing stays with you.

If that was a bigger White boy (and his mini-thug companion) beating up on a small Black girl, it would be THE featured video on ABC News for a week, Caryn Johnson would be pontificating about it in her usual ignorant manner, and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be fighting over who would be most prominent in front of ABC'c cameras. Zero would be calling for a 'National Discussion On Race' (with the subject being Condemning the Evil White Devils, of course). But because it is a Favored Minority beating up a small White girl, NOTHING will be said. For what it's worth, in my neck of the woods, if a 'student' does something like this, they will be banned from riding the school bus for the remainder of the year. I've seen it happen.

What Did Joe Biden Know About China Spy
Balloon-gate and When Did He Know It?

“What did the president know, and when did he know it?” That was the question asked of Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal of the 1970s. The presumption, of course, was that the 37th president knew more about the scandalous activities than he was letting on. And, of course, Nixon was ultimately forced out of office because of Watergate. Today, I’d like to ask the same question of Joe Biden about the China Spy Balloon-gate scandal. Of course, the matter of the Chinese spy balloon is lot more serious than the Watergate break-in because it potentially affects the safety and well-being of 335 million Americans.

Washington - The Biden administration is moving forward with a plan to shoot down a large Chinese balloon suspected of conducting surveillance on the U.S. military, by bringing it down once it is above the Atlantic Ocean where the remnants could potentially be recovered, according to two U.S. officials. Upon hearing that there’s at least one Chinese surveillance balloon drifting over the continental United States (as of this writing), and another reportedly over South America, you might picture a payload of advanced electronics snapping high-resolution photos and videos of strategic targets, and communication interception devices snooping on American government, military, and high-tech secrets. So we begin with a bit of a biographical note. Like many writers at PJ Media, I work from home. There was a knock at my door this morning, and I noticed a police vehicle outside. As we are law-abiding people, that was out of the ordinary. At my door was the animal control officer. That seemed odd since our dogs stay in the backyard and don’t roam around the neighborhood. The issue that warranted said knock on my door was the fact that I had inadvertently left one of our dogs out a little longer than usual.

He was advised that the best time for the operation would be when it was over water, U.S. officials said.(Snip) ..(Video) China responded that it reserved the right to “take further actions” and criticized the U.S. for “an obvious overreaction and a serious violation of international practice.”

The United States could bring down the Chinese surveillance balloon currently flying eastward across the country by shooting it with a laser, which would cause it to gradually descend without inflicting serious damage to civilians on the ground, according to an aerospace specialist. The Defense Department previously ruled out shooting down the balloon, which was first spotted earlier this week in Montana, saying that its size could cause a debris field large enough to harm Americans. But Art Thompson, CEO of California-based company Sage Cheshire Aerospace which provides stratospheric balloon launching and research services, believes that a “semi-controlled descent” could be a solution.

One of the unsavory aspects of our current era is that firing a member of a "protected class" — racial and sexual minorities, plus women of any race — almost inevitably leads to cries of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. When a person is a "twofer" ticking two boxes indicating presumptively oppressed status, you need a bulletproof list of offenses to charge the target with. Don Lemon, the low-rated Black and gay host on CNN, was booted from his prime-time gig to the morning hours and has managed to drive the ratings for CNN This Morning even lower than the cable net previously had scored in those hours.

Bloomberg, which exists to serve active traders on Wall Street, is throwing shade on the January jobs report that “surprised” a lot of people with its positive numbers. Before addressing the technical factors used to produce the rosy numbers, consider the buried lede hundreds of words into the piece. Stripped of all the technical jargon is this stark reality: "On an unadjusted basis, payrolls actually fell by 2.5 million last month."
