An ER doctor was killed after being mown down by a Lexus and then stabbed to death by the driver in an apparent road rage incident. Dr Michael Mammone, 58, was cycling on the Pacific Coast Highway, California, when he was run over by a white Lexus which sped through a red light at an intersection on Wednesday at around 3pm. The driver of the vehicle, Vanroy Evan Smith, 39, then got out of his car and stabbed the cyclist multiple times in the back, with brave bystanders tackling him to the ground.

This black person was an Accountant, an alleged educated man. This wasn't some poor black American who was beat down and on welfare. But he was filled with hate for whites. Even a white man who did nothing to him other than ride a bicycle. This wasn't a ghetto, this wasn't MLK Blvd. And yet a white man is murdered . In any Democrat city if the races were exchanged the streets would be on fire. But this won't even be a story on the main stream media.

I gave up cycling on public roads a number of years ago. I had one friend, about 50 ft in front of my intentionally hit by the big side mirror of a pickup truck and knocked flying into the ditch. Fortunately, at that point there was lots of long grass and a soft soil edge for him to land in, and he wasn't seriously injured, but bruised, scraped and frightened and angry. This is apparently a pure racial attack. I am even armed when cycling, even though I only go on the creekside walking-cycling trails that we have here. I can go many miles along a nice creek under the trees and stay clear of inattentive or angry drivers.....and crazed racists with 3500 lb attack machines and knives. You are ultimately responsible for your own person safety. Sadly, in much of California it is between difficult and impossible to get a concealed carry permit, although I hear that some counties are pretty sensible about it, of course, where you are least likely to need it.

More like bicyclist privilege than white privilege, but that goes with the green machine here. Cyclists are entitled to cross against the signal with total impunity, and there are times it tempts even patient drivers to lose our temper. But it's the law nowadays, so they're just following the law. So what if it makes us drivers responsible for cyclists' safety? (rhetorical / sarcastic question...) This year the assembly idiots made it the law that ANYWHERE a pedestrian enters the road, a mystical crosswalk suddenly exists... drivers must stop and allow them to cross. So the hell what if we're going the 45 mph posted speed limit at the time, we suddenly have to stop to let them cross. They've made California untenable for business and are making it unbearable for drivers. Trying to depopulate the state, I suspect...

A massive sinkhole in southeastern Texas that first grabbed headlines by threatening homes in 2008 began crumbling again over the weekend, ballooning to over 1000 feet across and 400 feet deep overnight. After years of stability, the rim of the sinkhole in Daisetta began crumbling again on Sunday night after residents reported hearing popping 'like a gunshot' coming from the ground hours before. Neighbors went to bed Sunday night and woke to find that the sinkhole was growing, and it has since gained about 150 feet in both width and depth.
