Expect to See A Lot More of First Lady

Joe Biden’s expected re-election bid will thrust his wife, Jill Biden, further into the public eye, as the White House deploys the self-described introvert to help win over women. What little polling exists in regard to the first lady, who is 71, suggests she’s unknown to many Americans, even after two years at the side of the world’s most powerful person. But within the White House she is understood to be the president’s closest and most protective confidante. “She is his gut check on everything,” said Michael LaRosa, former press secretary to the first lady and special assistant to the

She hasn't been out of the public eye because she's an introvert, but because she says things like "see-say-pwadwe", and calls people things like breakfast tacos. She's as dumb as hubby, and can't even blame it on a "speech impediment" or dementia.

If and engineer or store clerk or anyone with a real job gets sick is it ever the case that their spouse gets to come in prop them up and help to do or even take over their job? Very seldom is that even a possibility. So why is Biden's wife anywhere near the actual decision making and work of the most important job in the country? She wasn't elected. She's certainly not qualified, since her "doctorate" is in, ahem, education.

As President Biden prepares to launch another White House bid, the nascent movement to find a replacement to run in his place has flamed out, with Democrats in both wings of the party pleased with the expected direction of his campaign and no alternative in sight. Progressives have wondered how Biden will position himself in 2024, having seen him both tack to the middle and veer to the left at different points in office. But they got a major sign of reassurance after this week’s address: more liberal firepower is in the works. “I have to say, the speech was

Dozens of students walked out of their New Hampshire school after the district banned urinals in a compromise to a proposal that would have blocked children from using facilities based on their gender identity. The school board decided a few days before the Friday walkout to prohibit students at Milford Middle School and Milford High School from using urinals or shared spaces in locker rooms. The ban in a town of about 15,000 people roughly 35 miles (56 kilometers) from Concord, New Hampshire's capital, was the culmination of a long debate about district rules about bathroom use and gender identity.

The White House did not say whether Biden would at some point travel to Ukraine. “He will meet with President Duda of Poland to discuss our bilateral cooperation as well as our collective efforts to support Ukraine and bolster NATO’s deterrence,” Jean-Pierre said. She added that the president would “deliver remarks ahead of the one-year mark of the Russian invasion of Ukraine,

Who could have possibly predicted this entirely inevitable outcome? The Point did, obviously. Now the media is catching up and acting like crowdsourcing migration was ever going to end any other way. "Pedro Yudel Bruzon was looking for someone in the U.S. to support his effort to seek asylum when he landed on a Facebook page filled with posts demanding up to $10,000 for a financial sponsor. It’s part of an underground market that’s emerged since the Biden administration announced it would accept 30,000 immigrants each month arriving by air from Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua and Haiti. A Yale University professor has sparked outrage by suggesting the only way to deal with Japan's rapidly aging population is a mass suicide and disembowelment.  Yusuke Narita, an assistant professor of economics at Yale, defended his views in a New York Times profile this weekend after he made the remarks on a streaming news program in 2021. Grammy award-winning singer Rihanna is the featured performer of the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show — and is bringing years of woke, partisan baggage to the supposedly apolitical event. In 2018, the “Disturbia” singer accused the United States Border Patrol of “terrorism” over their use of tear gas to stop migrants from illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. That following year, Rihanna went after Republican lawmakers in the state of Alabama over them having signed abortion legislation, describing them as shameful “idiots” who were curtailing women’s rights. “Take a look. These are the idiots making decisions for WOMEN in America,” the pop star wrote in a Twitter post, accompanied by an image
